Both of our key fobs broke around the same time and he came to save the day. He was pleasant, respectful, priced fairly, and quick to get the job done right. He came after hours to accommodate our work schedules. I recommend him to anyone needing a key made or a key fob replaced. Full disclosure: We began talking to him (because he was very nice; kind soul.) He let us know that he had an incident at a school where he was called to replace a key. He's an honest guy and he didn't think anything of it because he had never been scammed before. Sure, he made a mistake in trusting that the person asking for the key to be made was the owner, after all, it was a high school student that likely looked that a grown man. I know my son began looking like a grown man at 14 years old. We all make mistakes, big and small. He's regretful of the situation and wish he would have known better. You can see it in his eyes and how he carries himself. How about these 1 star reviewers learn to allow for grace and mercy, for they are not perfect either. The person who scammed Edgar wasn't perfect either. If that kid wouldn't have been such a delinquent, maybe he wouldn't have conned an honest auto tech and stole the vehicle. Be mad at that kid, not Edgar. We wish nothing but he best for Edgar. He will continue to learn and grow while offering great customer service. He will continue to be human and make mistakes, but I am certain he won't remake the mistake he did at that school. Also, maybe he did say some things under duress when investigators and people are hounding him but I have to admit that if I were in position I would have done the same. He was being bashed and he was the one that got conned! We told him to ignore the haters and continue to be the good person we felt he is. Bought a ignition and key at AutoZone in Alvarado Texas for 2007 Dodge Ram. Technician was present during installation and said the computer needed to be coded. Looked up a locksmith in yelp. Quotes $135 to come out now. Agreed. Then he call me back in ten minutes and said we have a problem. I need to charge you $25 more dollars. Why he said because it 45 minutes away. His guy showed up a 30-40 minutes later and said he has to charge me more. He double the price to one $320... stating 1st $380. Then he said the key from AutoZone is no good. I told him put it all back in the box and I will return it. He then stopped speaking English I told him I don't speak Spanish. He would only speak Spanish anyway. He went back to his truck too the AutoZone key and duplicated it to the lock I bought at AutoZone and added a fob to unlock the doors. Telling me he put a new ignition in. He said the Alarm ignition kill is on. I explained carefully that the alarm doesn't have ignition kill and that the truck would drive with the alarm sounding. Hounded me for pay. He said nothing after the not excepting my chase card. Insisted on cash app. He pretends to look for something in his truck put it in gear and spread away. No receipt no paperwork no words at all. I look in the truck and the ignition I bought was still in the truck installed. No new ignition no new key no code. Code is all I ask for for the initial $135 then asking me to pay for his gas $25 extra. Now I have 3 keys to the auto zone key with nothing that I ask for in any way. I gave him 30 dollars cash to make up the $320 assuming that he coded like I ask for ONLY. He guarantee him making his key and ignition would work. No ignition only a duplicate key was made leaving me with the EXACT same problem prior to his arrival. He was very rude and very unprofessional. Wearing sandals and constantly on the phone with some girl. Was in a rush the entire time. Witnesses that were out there claim that he appears to be scamming me and did not like his presence. After talking crap attempting to intimidate me...did not work.... twice he has said he was sending a tech out with NO Show. I ask for a code to be programed and a ignition to be installed from the criminals only to start what about to become a war from and people...i swear to god. Mr. Tough guy....!!! We will see. I had a very up and down experience with this company. The up part is that I think the…read morecommunication with the customers were outstanding. I got a quote very fast after I made the project. My front door was jammed and I needed it fixed. I was quoted 100$ and they were able to come the next day. Prior to their arrival they communicated very well and I felt comfortable that they would show up at the expected time. The door fix part was the part where problems started to show. The locksmith that showed up looked at it and quickly called another locksmith to come over to look at it as well. My passage door was a 15 year old schlage f series. It's not from an obscure brand or anything. They said they could fix it for 100 or replace the entire lock mechanism for 180. I wanted to just fix the door. They replaced the inside of the passage knob (passage means no lock just knob) but the part they replaced was not size compatible with the door. And the door barely closed. My husband looked at it and was very concerned about the fit on the door and so we decided that we would replace the entire door lock system. We discussed at that time that it would be 80$ since I already paid 100 for the fix which did not work. After they left 2 hours later the door was jammed again and would not open from the outside. The woman that waited in the car for them also left a empty can of celcius on my front lawn. They left their drill here and they had to come back to pick it up. Their drill stripped the nails on my door so it was hard to unscrew the door nails. We had discussed they they would come back later in the week to install the door. They quoted me later that the price of locks went up and they would charge 280$ for the new door installation and credit me the 100 that I already paid so I would have to pay 180 when they came back. I asked to look at what lock they would be installing. I really didn't like the look of it and I reversed imaged searched it on Google and it was a 45$ door lock system. I asked if they could install a system that I bought (I planned to buy a new schlage lock) but he said no, he only wanted to install the ones he buys. I decided to pass, mostly because I didn't like the door lock he chose. I bought the same schlage door lock system on Amazon for 130, spent 10 minutes installing it myself and love the new old door lock system I have now.
