Greensboro's Pop-A-Lock locksmith service is superb. I went through a nightmare of being locked out of my house last Thursday night and used a local locksmith I found off Google and ended up having a 4-hour wait before my someone came and drilled my lock open--which was necessary since my deadbolt was engaged, but broken. The company's service technician failed to give me a receipt and gave me two different names. I was hung up on twice by one of the company's supervisors. It was a hellish experience. Last night I got on the Internet looking for another locksmith. I sent out requests through YELP to some I reviewed and Pop-A-Lock called me within 30 minutes even though it was 10 at night. I scheduled locksmith Natalie to come out and install the new deadbolt lock I had ordered and her work and service was outstanding. This is a 180-degree difference from the scamming locksmiths I had dealt with last Thursday on the 12th of December. I will also note that though I contacted seven locksmiths, Pop-A-Lock was the first to contact me and only one other locksmith, so far, has bothered to contact me to arrange an appointment. Natalie also re-keyed my old lock key to make the transition easier on me. This is the sort of service that used to be the rule in America, rather than the exception. This was the first (and hopefully only) time that I had to use a locksmith service. After having an appalling evening and very little help from the management and customer service team inside of Costco, by stroke of pure luck the gentleman inside of the tire center had the number to pop-a-lock and allowed me to use their phone. The smith arrived in less than ten minutes and was able to get my vehicle unlocked in under five. Absolutely solved my problem in less than 5 minutes. I removed an old brass deadbolt in the midst of changing out my locks (because the wife wanted something that looked newer). I was unable to fit the new deadbolt to the existing hole. Pop-A-Lock was the fourth business I spoke with and the ONLY one with a knowledgable answer on how I could fix the problem...easily. A couple months back, I found myself locked out of the house at 7pm with nothing on me but my phone. I searched for locksmiths in the area and decided to give Pop-A-Lock a call based on their positive reviews on Google. After calling and explaining my situation, they showed up no longer than 15 minutes after the call and promptly got me back inside my house with no fuss at all. Amazing service! We locked our bedroom door from the outside with the keys inside and somebody came out very quickly to help us.
