The newest Pokémon card sets are nearly impossible to find elsewhere, yet somehow, Chris's Comics always has them in stock. They also buy cards--something I plan on taking advantage of soon--and sell singles for collectors looking for specific finds. Even if you're not into Pokémon, they have an impressive selection of trading cards, from sports to Magic: The Gathering and more. My wife loves her stuffies so walking in and seeing a display stand of stuffables was a treat. We both play D&D on occasion and their dice selection was a lovely surprise for the both of us. The smell, I will never get over but it seems to be their typical smell. The prices are probably as low on CD's as you can go, in a store. Still, if you are looking for CD's you are probably a lot better off shopping online at Amazon or Ebay. On average I save about 50% online compared to Newbury's prices. The DVD prices just plain suck, in most instances you can get a movie or TV show brand new at the used DVD price. Go figure son, go figure. The t-shirt and knicknack prices are, likewise, ridic, there is store CD selection in my opinion keeps them in business. Once people start getting hip to the lower prices online, they will fade away, like BestBuy has done with their CD's.

I spent about an hour in this shop and had a decent pile of comics to purchase, but after receiving such terrible vibes from the owner, I decided to leave it all behind and not give a dime to this business.
