As much as it pains me to write this, it saddens me more that this place is not what is used to be since new owners took over. I was a HUGE fan of Popcorn Bliss for years. Bought everyone's holiday gifting here. I was warned last year from a friend the ownership had changed and it wasn't the same but decided to give it a try. Spent hundreds of dollars and was more than just disappointed. Their 'decadent' selections, which cost much more, was a fraud when compared to how it used to be. The coating was slim to none and couldn't even taste the chocolate or whatever flavors I chose. Their caramel corn is just plain caramel corn you could get at a cheap store like TJ Max that's 2 yrs out of date; tastes the same. Decided to try it again this year....that was bad on me I suppose expecting some improvements but no.....pathetic overcharges for the premium 'decadent' flavors that were just meh. Another several hundred dollars spent on mediocre product that still pales in comparison to how it was under previous ownership. Also, know that that when you pay for the large tin with three areas of popcorn, not only is the most expensive section NOT filled all the way, they make that compartment MUCH smaller than the other regular priced popcorn options. They seal the opening so you wouldn't know this until someone tells you or you buy some for yourself only to get home and it's not filled correctly. This was the same on ALL the large three sections tins I purchased. I will not be making this mistake a third time. read more

What a fun place!!! The atmosphere here is so fun and full of positive vibes. The popcorn is absolutely amazing. They really take their flavors to the next level! It seems they've covered all basis, they had a menu with nutritional facts stating which popcorns are gluten free, dairy free etc. The owners were beyond helpful and let us try as many flavors as we wanted. They also had some seasonal and limited time flavors. My favorite flavor (it was so hard to decide) is the Horchata. We will definitely be going back, and we can't wait to try their new flavors! read more

This review is based off the customer service aspect and not off the popcorn. I recently went in with my family and went to purchase our items with a gift card. They said they are sorry, but at this time they cannot take gift cards since they switched computer systems. I asked how long has it been like this and they said weeks, and they had no idea when gift cards will be accepted. I was in shocked that after weeks they could not figure out an alternative solution instead of basically telling customers sorry you have a gift card you can't use and we have no idea when you will be able to use it. You would think at the bare minimum they would offer to take customers names and number and offer a courtesy call when the system is working. I could think of multiple other solutions. I guess I was just in shock of the experience since I never encountered anything like it. read more

They have amazing sweet and savory flavors like dill pickle, caramel pecan, baked potato, cookies and cream, birthday cake, spicy buffalo, blue cheese, and jalapeño. They will also let you mix flavors together to make a unique creation. You choose what size bag you want from mini to huge. They also have tasty truffles and old-fashioned candies. Whilst with the girlfriend this morning we stopped by the Verizon store. Unexpectedly in the parking lot we spotted an interesting storefront with the name Popcorn in it. Curious to see what this place had to offer we stopped by--and boy are we glad we did! On the outset it'd appear this is just some generic local candy store, however once you greet the owner in the back of the store he'll offer up a menu of some of the most outstanding and eclectic homemade popcorn varieties! He offered us several free samples and gave his personal opinion of each. I chose the spicy buffalo. The owner is extremely friendly and happy that you're in the store. Customer service unparalleled. I popped into this store on a whim today while shopping at the promenade and I'm so glad I did. This shop is adorable with lovely decor, candies from past and present, chocolates, and ALL the lovely popcorn treats you could hope for. I inquired about popcorn because it's all behind the counter & omg - the customer service ans popcorn were amazing! The owners work the counter and they are insistent that you try and love your popcorn choice before you buy. I tried 4-5 popcorns and they were all amazing! The owner recommended a Sea Salt Caramel and it was simply phenomenal. I bought two bags for a gift and now I'm kicking myself for not buying bags for myself - it was so affordable I really should have! This is my favorite Castle Rock find so far and I'll probably be back each week! I've never had gourmet popcorn before till this place. And every time I've gone in, which is close to once a week lol, they've remembered me. Everyone is super friendly and the popcorn is amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Their dill pickle popcorn is my fav savory flavor. If you're feeling sweet, definitely try Oreo or the smore flavors. This is a fun new store in the Promenade area in Castle Rock. It's nice to see a mom and pop owned business doing well. It's a cute store and they make a lot of popcorn in house, sweet and savory. They will sample anything for you. I'm fond of the movie theater popcorn but the dill pickle and loaded baked potato is yummy as well.
