I don't know if I'm biased based on the popcorn place I usually go to for popcorn. The popcorn that I purchased here seemed stale. The price for a mini $8 for the Chicago blend is like $5 dollars more than what I paid at another location. I thought it was definitely overpriced. Yes their are mini is larger but the freshness and the flavor does not compare to the popcorn place I had been going to. that popcorn place has since closed. We have some popcorn lovers in our family, so I usually pick up some fun flavors for various occasions. We stopped in for my husband's birthday, and picked up some jalapeño cheddar, one of his favorites. It was near Halloween, and they had some cute bags made up with a plastic glove filled with fun colors and adorned with a spider ring. So cute for a Halloween treat! We picked up several for the kids in our family. The lady working there was on her own at the time we stopped in, but she handled it well. She was super friendly and helped us get all the flavors we needed. I checked in on Yelp, and to my surprise, I received a free small bag of popcorn of my choice. It's pricy but the refills are more reasonable. Pricy or not, I find myself going every week now because the popcorn is the best around.

I visited this store for the first time on 9/10/24 around 4:40 and purchased two medium bags of popcorn. Bag 1 was salt and butter. Bag 2 was caramel and peanuts. My total bill was $38.40. I specifically asked if the popcorn was fresh and was told "yes". Left the store, tasted both flavors and found both without crunch. Went back for a refund at 4:50 and the employee on duty offered to give me fresher salt and butter and that the caramel was fresh. Further, she was just an employee who was not authorized to give a refund. She told me the caramel was made morning before and had to sit for 24 hours. My advice is to the owner is empower your employees to serve customers. Advice to potential customers - microwave popcorn tastes fresher and is a lot cheaper. read more

I came across Popcorn Fharmacy in my search for a snow cone machine to rent for an event, which is one of the lesser known services they offer. Their website listed options and prices which was useful, and I called them to clarify details a few times and the person on the phone was friendly and helpful each time. Decided to go with the mini-weekend rental for $45, 200 snow cone cups for $9, a gallon of Tiger's Blood syrup for $15, and a quart of strawberry and grape syrup for $5 apiece. Came in to pick up the machine and everything went without a hitch. They provided me with a rolling dolly to take it out to my car. Gave the popcorn a try while I was there. Checking in on Yelp gives you a free small bag of your choice, and I went with the bacon and cheddar. As some folks have mentioned, it tasted a bit stale when I first started eating. I think this was just me not being used to the taste of either the bacon or cheddar flavoring. Once I started eating, I couldn't stop and the unpleasant stale taste quickly went away. I found it pretty enjoyable by the end and would get it again. There is a part of me that wishes it was hot though. The machine ended up working just as advertised for my event. Compared to the other places I had looked up the value for the price is definitely worthwhile. Will be back for future rental needs! read more

The popcorn flavor here is good and they have a large selection. As far as I know it's the only place that focuses on popcorn in the metro so it doesn't have much competition. However, it is slightly stale. All the flavors are sitting out in large cans and it is hard to tell how long it's been sitting there. The germ freak in me is a little grossed out while watching them scoop out popcorn with a scoop that's sits out on the counter. However, the negative part of this review is actually that I checked in here to redeem the free bag if popcorn offer, which I received. However, the owner refused to honor it, dating that it was for the night they posted the offer only and that they don't know how to turn it off. It seems to me that they could honor a $3 bag of popcorn (especially since I bought others) or contact Yelp to get it taken care of. Very low stars for poor customer service. read more

Was in the area, noticed this place for popcorn. I am a sucker for popcorn, so we decided to try it out. The moment you step in the smell of delicious popcorn hits you! Then your greeted by a very nice lady that was very helpful, giving us samples to try, as well an explanation of price breakdown. There were so many different kinds to choose from. I highly recommend the Salted Carmel Popcorn! Sweet & Salty! A little bit pricey, but overall a great treat to try if your in the area for some good flavored popcorn! I rarely make reviews, but I was looking for some good popcorn for a party and decided to try the popcorn at Popcorn Fharmacy, because I always see it right next to our favorite Sushi place, Ocean81(formerly Okura). However, the popcorn they sell is bland and stale and the service matches! The girl in charge treated me like I was bothering her, while she chatted with a co-worker the whole time. I tried the caramel and sea salt caramel and they both tasted like stale cracker jacks! Plus, I could not tell the difference between the two. I'm pretty sure they DO NOT pop their popcorn on site, which was a disappointing factor for me. I decided to drive to the Oklahoma Gourmet Popcorn in Moore, and what a difference! The service was outstanding the owner and the sweet girls behind the counter were happy to help and loved that we were there! Plus, the popcorn is freshly popped daily (smells delicious when you walk in), and the flavors are amazing! The caramel was heads and shoulders above the stale, flavor lacking popcorn at the Popcorn Fharmacy. Oklahoma Gourmet Popcorn had a buttery caramel and sea salt caramel (among many flavors to choose), and you could tell the difference in the flavors. Very bold and YUMMY! I have driven by this place for a while now and finally wanted to try it. When I walked in it was clean, and the lady that was there greated me right away. I got the caramel with peanuts, she just pulled a small bag out of a large tin on the floor. The store did not look or smell like they make the popcorn at that location. I got the feeling that just get pre-popcorn and just package it. When I tried the popcorn, I just bought it tasted stale. I have bought better caramel popcorn at the big box stores. 1st time here and won't be the last. Needed a snack for an after work get together. Went around lunch time. Ample lot parking. Lots of containers of all shapes and sizes to choose from. Every flavor of popcorn on their web page is available. Was greeted promptly, had all my questions answered very nice and professional (I'm sure I'm not the 1st person who's asked those questions either). I had checked in on Yelp and was surprised to find that my check in bagged me a bag of popcorn. I chose the large tin that looked like a round Popcorn box with the word Popcorn on it and had it filled with buttered, white cheddar and of course carmel. Basic flavors I know, but it was for a group setting. As my free bag of corn I chose jalapeno. Everything was filled and sealed. She put my jalapeno in a popcorn box because she didn't have the small bags which was fine with me. FYI, the popcorn in the box never had oil stains. I can reuse it. Check out was a breeze and I was on my way in 15 minutes total. The popcorn was a treat at the gathering, everyone asked where I got it and surprisingly no had heard of Popcorn Fharmacy. No one in the group lives in the area which could explain it. One guest mentioned a place in Moore OK that did the same thing, but she confessed that Popcorn Fharmacy's carmel beat the Moore store hands down. It was a fun snack and I didn't have to cook and I had leftovers to snack on all weekend. We came aware of Popcorn Fharmacy by way of the internet. We were in the mood for premium popcorn, and thought we would try it and continue if pleased. WAAAAAAAY overpriced. The popcorn was dry as hell. Were told it would be made "fresh". HOW does one make popcorn fresh on the spot without hearing any popping??? Apparently the staff has a "hidden technology" because while waiting for "fresh popcorn" we never heard the kernels popping. If you pay a PREMIUM price then you expect a premium product. Has this place been in business for 20 years?? REALLY?? Frankly, it would astound me if that is the case. and frankly at the risk of alienating the visitors of this site, I am afraid that IF this place has ACTUALLY been in business over 20 years, it is more a testament to the illiteracy and stupidity of the Sooner state, than the quality of this overpriced popcorn.
