Popcorn makes an excellent party favor for weddings or bar mitzvahs, sweet sixteens or birthday parties. It's also yummy anytime!

The hard working crew at the Pop For The People prepared and packaged 200 bags of popcorn for my daughter's wedding. It was a delicious and meaningful party favor. They custom designed the labels with the bride and groom Initials and the wedding date. We were so proud to show off all the good work that's being done at the Pop in Cafe and highly recommend them for favors, gifts or just to sit home and enjoy while binge watching tv. Thanks to all of you!

In addition to their signature housemade carmelcorn, the shop also specializes in popcorn, fresh roasted nuts, fudge, chocolates, gummies and old-fashioned hard candies. Richard Baskin purchased the shop from the Dohertys in 1985. He in turn sold the shop to husband and wife Tony and Sia Bassil in 1996 and they have owned it ever since. Sia had originally been hired to work behind the counter for the Dohertys in 1977, when she was just 14. She continued to work at the shop, on and off, for several years until she bought it with her husband. My family and I visited The Carmelcorn Shop this past summer while we were visiting relatives in the area. We were exploring Downtown Easton and noticed the storefront. It looked like a really cool place and we were shocked when we saw the sign that read "Since 1931". The shop is pretty small, but it has all sorts of novelty candies. The carmelcorn smelled great! We ended up getting some as well as some old-fashioned candies for our two boys. It's nice to know that there are still old-fashioned candy shops like this still in existence. If you're visiting Downtown Easton, then we recommend that you take a stop at the Carmelcorn Shop for a trip down memory lane.

She was there until the late 50's, had her five kids, and returned through the 70's and 80's. I always remember my Mom smelling like roasted nuts and carmelcorn when she came home from work. I always make sure I stop in when I return to Easton to reminisce with Sia and of course pick up some Almond Butter Crunch.

I'm a huge fan of anything coconut, so I was thrilled to see this flavor on display. The host was extremely gracious and offered us a sampling of any flavor. Before I noshed on a sample, I mentioned my dairy allergy and the host kindly alerted me to all non-dairy-based flavors. And, to my delight, coconut made the cut! We decided to go with a small tub of half toasted coconut and half cookie explosion. My wife and I are still enjoying the popcorn a week later and plan to revisit Clusters our next time up north! It was my first time in the store and I was really looking forward to the pOnut (popcorn donut) but they were really accommodating & willing to answer any question about their flavors or process. They even have some ready for samples! Though the shop space is limited, you'll still need to brace yourself for the tons of popcorn they have on display (and the many sizes!). I used my Yelp check-in deal to get a free teaser bag from a display rack. They also have flavors that are phasing out, in the back, on a clearance shelf. But the pièce de résistance... the reason I made the trip out: the pOnut! Right next to the mega bags of popcorn is a display for their containers of pOnuts, bunches of popcorn glazed together with sprinkles on top. A fraction of the calories of a real donut and 100% more popcorn! It tasted great and with the current deal, it was only $1. And walked out with more bags of popcorn too...
