This Is some of the best BBQ I have had since moving to the Northeast! I stumbled upon the food truck while driving home from the store (lucky me!) and I'm so glad I did. We ordered the Jersey devil cheesesteak with pork and fries and the brisket sliders. Naturally we also had to try the jalapeño cornbread! All the portions were very generous and everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a hankering for good BBQ! We will definitely be ordering again soon.

Holy BBQ, John knows what he's doing!!! I needed my party (of 50 picky people) catered for a holiday weekend housewarming party. John is not only an absolute pleasure to work with but he made the process so easy. We decided on our mains and sides put down a deposit. John showed up an hour early parked right in my driveway and was good to go! Even gave my dad, who's in the restaurant business, a tour of the truck. The truck was clean and beautifully maintained- never said that about a truck before!! He was great with my guests, super accommodating and the food was FANTASTIC!!!!!! Best pulled pork I've ever had and the tacos were stellar. I would highly recommend Smokin Chicks!

Was doing errands and gonna stop at Pancheros for another dull food day but saw these folks and had to stop and try them out. Very friendly and took the time to explain ingredients and customize my first order. Food was made fast! Brisket sliders hold the coleslaw and brisket tacos you see in the picture. I 100% will be stopping the next time I see them and have already called local family to recommend them. The brisket has a wonderful, strong wood smoke flavor that I enjoy. The mac is fresh, different and good! I'm about to start on the tacos but had to tell you fine folks to stop here and give them a try if you see them!!!

Three meats platter plus cornbread and lime rice for two people

Third timer ordered three meats platter ( meant for 2 people) but it's too good, my fiancee will have to wait until next time. Brisket is lean but seasoned well and tender. Pulled chicken glazed with a light spicy tangy sauce, also tender. Pulled pork, hmmm.... I don't know, tasted too good lean/tender/flavorful. The sauce comes w the brisket is slightly sweeter but not overly gross, just the right amount of tang to balance the sweetness. All and all, very happy w the meal.

I was running errands around the Bridgewater Promenade, when I saw their truck. I had to stop, and I'm so glad I did! I walked up to the window having read about the Jersey Devil Cheesesteak, and that's what I got. Brisket cheesesteak with fries! The brisket is so good!!! It's smokey, tastes like it's marinated, and the cheese is gooey. The onions and peppers are incorporated into the brisket. I want another one! read more

I drove past this place a few times, but I could not find them on yelp so I never tried. I was hungry for something mean today and decided it was overdue. Two words AWE SOME! One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I ever had. Pork is juicy, slaw is perfect and I don't even like slaw, but its not to wet not too much mayo or vinegar and its not bitter. When the light juice from the slaw mixes with the natural meat juices you almost get a light brownish gravy. Sandwich, fries and can of soda was $9.50 and it was well worth it. Had a great time working with John and his staff booking my son's first birthday party, very professional, always answered the phone on the first or second ring and answered all of my questions. We had a number of options setting up the menu for the party, very flexible and a good selection of food overall. Things were very smooth day of the event. The truck showed up almost an hour early and began to set up, they came equipped with all plates, forks, knives, napkins, etc and really are a true setup, so this really is a one stop shop solution for a party. All our guests had an amazing time with the BBQ food and the staff. Nothing but thumbs up and smiling faces all afternoon long. My daughter had a house warming party yesterday in Springfield and John pulled in to provide the food 40 minutes prior to service time we contracted. As he set up I asked if I could come aboard and check it out. He agreed and I climbed on. The food truck kitchen was organized and super clean. We proceeded to talk and he let me taste a few things. Really great guy with a passion for serving great food. He served up tasty bbq for a few hours and then drove off into the sunset. Everyone was happy satisfied campers. I recommend John and his team for any event you are having. Save yourself the cleanup and issue of handing out leftovers. Enjoy!! read more

I was on my way home on a Saturday afternoon, when I came across the Smokin' Chicks BBQ truck...and though it was parked on my neighbor's driveway, I did not realize that they were having a family event. I was mesmerized by the delicious scent of bbq food emanating from the truck and drifted over to purchase something to eat. John and his crew, knowing that I was not part of the event, fixed me a plate for two...I thought the idea of having a food truck cater for parties at the convenience of your backyard or home, was genius. I tried to pay and they humbly rejected any compensation for it. So, charmingly embarrassed, I found my wife and feasted. The pulled pork tacos with all the fixings were awesome! We thought the ribs were fantastic as well and were immediately hooked!! I decided to book John and his crew for a special event at my place the following summer...we held a reunion gathering with my old army buddies that we haven't seen since 1989. Surprisingly, we had a great turnout and more folks attending than expected. John and his crew accommodated with no poblems, and everyone in attendance were impressed with the BBQ! John, Michael and Jen were the best...very professional with a warm and friendly service! I will definitely use them again and highly recommend their services for any outside gatherings!! Even though I am a Louis Prima fan (sorry for the obscure reference) the bone to meat ratio just doesn't make up for the higher fat content. At least for me. This guys ribs changed that. Lastly, I come on this site and often see reviews regarding the personal nature of the proprietor of the business, which are sometimes so vicious and misplaced, it is not a mystery why the writers of South Park want to feed some of the members of this site what they want to feed them. To that end, if you have a problem with either Dan or his staff, I would have to say that the problem is most likely with you. They couldn't be nicer, more courteous and helpful. There were constantly people coming in and out picking up orders, which honestly felt like a very good sign from the start. We shared the choriqueso and got tacos de birria for dinner, plus an assortment of desserts because we couldn't resist trying a little bit of everything. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The chicken cutlet was perfectly fried and wonderfully seasoned. You could taste a hint or Parmesan cheese in the breading. That marinara was perfectly balanced, not too acidic, not too sweet. Slices of fresh mozzarella was the winning touch. Oh, and the bread was a perfect Italian roll, soft and pillowy on the inside, perfect for soaking up all of that red while not being overly crusty on the outside. As saucy as my sandwich was, not one bit of spill and it did not fall apart. Overall, a perfect lunch, although you might want a nap afterwards!

I have had SmokinChicksBBQ food a few times now. When they used to park at their lunch spot I had a fat boy burger which was out of this world. The burger was seasoned perfectly with melted cheese and topped with pulled pork, bbq, and slaw. I recommended this company to some family friends and they hired him for thier bbq. I came back to the truck four times for food! I wanted to try a little bit of everything, which his menu is perfect for because you can mix and match everything. The chipotle chicken tacos with all the homemade toppings were by far my favorite. I tried all three of the sides too! Mac and cheese, jalapeño cornbread, and veggie pasta salad. I'm not a big fan of veggie pasta salad but this was amazing. All the staff were so friendly and polite. Thanks John and the staff! Can't wait to try your food again someday. read more

We had Somkin' Chicks BBQ cater our Tennis Club's closing ceremony. Best decision we ever made. They were there an hour early, brought TONS of food and even had a bonus side dish for us. Everything was delicious (I liked the sliders even better than the tacos, but some of my friends thought otherwise). So, you could NOT go wrong not matter what you chose....plus it's all you care to eat, so try it ALL. One tip, splurge and get their ribs. They are the best around! Party clean-up was a BREEZE in that we just stood and watched them drive away. GREAT food, easy to do business with John, and the most convenient way to stage a party! It's tough planning any type of office party these days so I decided to try a BBQ truck. Found the website for Smokin Chicks and sent in my information. John called me back same day and went over everything with me. It was simple to pick my menu and arrange for the truck to come to our office on Friday afternoon. Everyone in the office was raving about the food and just about every one of us went back for seconds. (or thirds). The service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. I did not take a picture of my food because I was too busy eating it! I highly recommend John for your event. Just make sure you show up hungry!! read more

Just stopped by after a Costco visit (they were in the home depot parking lot) and will be be going back again! I had the pulled pork sliders. They were sweet, smoky and delicious. My husband had the brisket sliders. They were also smoky, a bit spicy and delicious! We had the FF and baked beans for our sides and both were great. The FF were the best we've had any where in a long time and my husband says they were the best baked beans he's ever had! Definitely worth going out of your way for this food truck if you want some fantastic bbq! read more

Fabulous!!! Delicious and professional! So accommodating and easy to work with! I called John literally a week before my event and he was so gracious/willing to help me out! Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I had a lot of big eaters and they were all well fed!!!! Food was delicious and options were wonderful. Something for everyone!!! Highly recommended! Thin B&M right out of the can. Cole Slaw was very good, fresh and not too much mayo, however on a down note, they were out of corn bread) Also, would have preferred they serve the meals with the sauce on the side as their bbq can stand by itself even though the sauce was very tasty. Would definitely eat here again.
