was quoted a normal price for natural shredded bark and pretty good delivery price as I'm 2 miles…read moredown the road from them. the next day when I called to placed to the order the woman who had answered the phone gave me a price that was $15 higher per yard and a delivery fee that was $50 higher. I told her about the conversation with the man from the day prior and her replay was "yeah he was just talking" she finally honored the price but I was then shorted 2 yards. I called and said it looked short as soon as they dropped it on my driveway cause it was. (I worked a mulch yard for YEARS loading, delivering and doing installs along with my own landscaping business.) she said no it was right but it wasn'. I didn't argue i just tried to order the additional mulch I needed to finish our house since it was going up for sale and I wanted it to loo. good and freshened up. they wouldn't answer the phone anymore when we would try a calling, I left messages and even sent text, twice out of all the calls I tried making a guy would answer and tell me all the trucks were broken down and they would call me back. what a joke and an insult. the price the woman tried to charge me was what premium colored or cedar mulch costs anywhere else. natural bark mulch is shredded free scraps and trimmings places get, but then to be shorted and told it was the amount I ordered as if with all my years of doing this I didn't know how to measure and then avoid doing business with me cause you know you screwed me over. plenty of other mulch companies around, maybe ill start another one up.

I was here in need of mulch and the man responsible for scooping it for me couldn't walk straight…read moreand fell against my trailer, he was very obviously hungover and was not in shape to operate the skid-steer. When I came back for a another load he was asleep in his truck so I couldn't get mulch the rest of the day.

I had previously given this Home Depot a higher rating years ago…read more However, things have gone downhill quickly here. I essentially built my house with materials from this Home Depot - Doors, windows, flooring, roofing, plumbing, electrical, trim, paint, etc. Probably spent over $400,000 at this location over the past few years. However, they keep coming up short. I bought an 80 gallon hot water heater that was dead on arrival. Did an exchange but all they had were 50 gallon heaters. That's all they gave me. No money back for the difference. Also had them install my 2 garage doors. But their installer went out of business. I then noticed on one of the garage doors where the opener bracket attaches to the top of the door, the installer did not pit on the top rail reinforcing rail where the opener should attach. Instead they installed it directly to the door sheet metal. I didn't notice this until it tore the sheet metal. I went to Home Depot to have them address it. They refused. - Also the doors we ordered for the entire house came in as a lower quality, thinner door than what we were shown at the store. - Last straw occurred tonight. I went in on Saturday to buy a new zero turn mower. I found the one I wanted for $3,199. They had 3 left, and all had the same tag. But I forgot to bring in my HD 24 month incentive tag. I told them I'd come back during the week with the tag. Went in tonight with the incentive tag, but they had new tags in these mowers for $3,799. I went to customer service. They looked into but did not do anything. I'm done with this place.
