Y'all crazy with these reviews . This Popeyes is fire. the workers here are so friendly too . Like super friendly , chick fila friendly ..yall don't know bad Popeyes til you been to Nashville . I drove all the way from Nashville to get a sandwich made right .... If it wasn't a 7hour drive each way , I'd be here every week. Their fries were fresh and hot . Chicken was huge and juicy ...AND all the tables were clean . Someone going around with a rag and warshing tables . Greeted you and said goodbye . Smiled . The girl running the register (pregnant with braids ) was very pleasant . Same with cook in the back . It had to be communicated to her to make my meal special due to life threatening food allergies. There's lots of fried chicken available all over Louisiana. There are a couple of places in New Orleans that are arguably the best fried chicken joints in the entire world. When I lived in Austin, the only Popeyes was a 30 minute drive at a minimum. Horrible service. 4 cars in line. I don't like drive thru's so no problem I'll go inside. I'm told there is no counter service, drive thru only. I go get in line, and the line does not move for 10 minutes. One car gets served, then there is another 5 minute wait. Then another 5 minute wait. Then another 5 minute wait. Finally it's my turn, I begin to order my food. I get out one item and I'm told to hold on. 5 minutes later I get to order the rest of my food. I pull around to the side where the window is, there are no other cars in line, and she waves at me to stop before I get to the window. This is so the drive thru timer is not activated. I wait a minute then say f**k it. I hope they do get in trouble for taking too long. Now I'm at the window and there is no sense of urgency. Not sure what the problem is with this location lately but they USED to be one of the better locations. The past three times I have attempted to go there, all within the past month and around 7:00pm each time, the employee on the speaker is rude as can be. Then all three times they say "cash only", two of the three times they only had limited chicken available. If you do make It to the window, the employees are full of attitude and even more rude. It is like they are intentionally running customers off and don't want to cook any food. Stopped in this afternoon and was told by a staff member that the dining room was closed and we had to use the drive through- after ordering at the drive through we noticed that people were walking in and ordering- when we got our food I asked the lady at drive through if dining room was actually open and she said yes - I am going to assume that the Girl that told us it was closed was probably getting off work and did not want to have to clean up anything - either way, very bad customer service on their end - food was mediocre at best - will not be going back read more

Popeyes more like my eyes are popping out is was so good. They got the fried chicken down, and the biscuits butter believe they are a slam dunk!! You can go inside here, or you can go wait out in the drive through, but it's much quicker to go in, just remember your mask to keep those great chefs safe! I promise you do not go here. Waited in Line for 15 minutes with 3 cars. Once we payed we waited 40 minutes and still no food. Everyone is just coming and going because it's taking forever. Stop in on Sunday 5/30/22 at 3:50pm to order my son some chicken I was the only person in line and it took them 5 min to Acknowledge me at the counter. Once they acknowledge me they argued over who was going to take my order referring to me as "this". Worst customer service ever will never eat another Popeyes. read more

This place is another one that has gone so far down hill since they opened. I get popcorn shrimp and they taste like little tiny rocks tbh! The wait here is 30 min plus and then you gotta 80% chance your order is going to be wrong or missing items for sure! The staff is rude. read more

Best part of my meal was the 6 pc. Biscuit. I ordered the 12pc. Mixed, but out of those 8 of them was wings. 2 breast, 1 thigh, 1 leg. Service was subpar. The drink machine was out of coke. I had to wait 10 mins. For them to fill it. read more
