definitely worth visiting if you're looking for flavorful, filling comfort food. We tried three different potatoes, and each one was delicious in its own way. The seafood potato, which we paired with fried fish on the side, was incredible. The cheese sauce was creamy, and the crawfish sauce had plenty of crawfish and shrimp--every bite had something in it. It was well seasoned and very flavorful. The wrecked potato was loaded down with roast beef, a good amount of gravy, and at least 12 shrimp on top. The meat was tender, the gravy was rich, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The jazzy potato came with onions, bell peppers, queso sauce, and a drizzle of sweet chili. It had just the right amount of balance between savory and sweet. The shrimp on this one were also cooked and seasoned really well. The portions at Stuffed are huge--you will probably need to take some home. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating, a nice family-friendly atmosphere, and a host to greet you at the door. There's also a separate area for takeout orders, which made picking up our food very easy. The staff were polite, friendly, and made sure everything came out hot and fresh. Overall, Stuffed offers big portions, bold flavors, and great service. It's a perfect spot for families or groups, and the food definitely lives up to the name.

Went here this afternoon for a late lunch ... Our first time & WOW ... it was all amazing!!! We got the Roast Beef Poboy and the appetizer Sampler ... I think we took home more than we ate The Food was Excellent and the Service was too Savanah was wonderful ... very attentive without hovering over you. The restaurant is kind of a surprise ... doesnt look like anything Special from the outside ... but ... as soon as you enter ... you are transformed into an awesome southern environment ... Give them a try ... you will not be disappointed (Sorry .. I had already cut the Poboy in half when I took the photo)

First time here today. Very friendly staff and we had the zydeco shrimp and after the boil potatoes. My potato was delicious! Served hot and very flavorful. The other potato was the same! I didn't care for the crawfish because they had a very "muddy" taste to me. Not a reason to not try Stuffed, they have many other items on the menu and the taste of the crawfish is just my opinion. I definitely recommend to try this place and we will go back! So much other food to try!! Ask for Amber, she was an amazing and super friendly server!!

After staying in NOLA for a couple of days we wanted to try something out of town. We went to Southern Boys Outdoors and they recommended this place to us. We were definitely NOT disappointed! Some of the best food we have had all week. Service was friendly and the food was phenomenal.

Let's start with the customer service--quick and efficient. I've only ordered to-go, but the interactions were smooth and satisfactory. The atmosphere is clean, quiet, and has a welcoming family-friendly vibe. Now, the highlight--the food. Portions are very generous, and everything was served HOT and FRESH, which left a great impression. The signature cheese sauce on the Classic Baked Potato, however, was a bit bland, so the toppings provided most of the flavor. On the other hand, the queso on the Big Philly and Zesty Zydeco Shrimp was packed with flavor and paired perfectly with the toppings. I also ordered the White Chocolate Bread Pudding (not pictured), and it was absolutely delicious! The texture of the bread pudding was perfect--not too soggy--and the sauce was excellent as well. I'm looking forward to trying more from the menu!

Amazing Food 10out of 10 The service was very good The place had very good atmosphere

Tried Stuffed on Tuesday. We arrived early so we pretty much had a choice of where to sit . Our waitress Alexis was fantastic! Great personality and very patient and helpful with our lack of knowledge on their menu. We both decided on the seafood boil potatoes . They did not take very long to come out and they were loaded with crawfish tails and sausage! But I was kinda disappointed in the size of the potatoes! With that said they were very well seasoned, although a little too spicy for our taste but good just the same . We had catfish on the side which was piping hot and very tasty! The deep fried corn on the cob that was on top was way too salty and way too spicy! But all in all everything was pretty good . If we return we will try something different next time! Still I was somewhat disappointed in that the portions looked nothing like what I had seen online but that aside it was a positive experience!

Service could be a little faster but considering the amount of people that were there and how fresh the food is, its understandable. The workers are very diligent and attentive. Very laid back type of vibe, community type restaurant. Seen a local influencer there which was cool because he was the reason why I came to the restaurant in the first place! Excellent food, flavor in every bite. Portions are immaculate for the price you pay. I definitely will be back but will come during the week instead of a Saturday lol :)

Honestly, there's so much potential for improvement with a little extra effort in the food. The *cheese* sauce on the fish was really oily, and diluted, which was a bit off-putting. Turning my taste buds before enjoying the entire meal. However, the potato was seasoned well, & the portion size was great for the price. It's definitely a good deal. I really enjoyed the cozy, family-owned vibe of the restaurant. The wall paint looked like it was done by a talented artist. The waitress was friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, the experience was just "okay", because the lack of effort in the food ingredients brought it down a bit. I'm also not a fan of soggy food, & the fish and crawfish bread were both soggy. On the bright side, the chicken bites were delicious, and crispy. I didn't even have room to try the egg rolls because I was so full & stuffed! So, the name of the restaurant definitely lives up to its promise.

There have been a few servers helping me out this evening and they're all sweet like sugar, very kind ladies. There's a big plaque outside (see photo attached) that says the food is "pretty good." Mariner's Inn used to be one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Hammond…read more Apparently the restaurant has changed hands, and the new direction it has taken disappoints me. The sports bar aspect of the business has been emphasized and the food quality diminished. The food isn't bad, but it's certainly not the standout it used to be. For example, the hamburger steak entre I ordered was okay, but it was $12 for the patty covered in gravy and mushrooms, one side, and "garlic bread." My side was plain rice - no extra brown gravy on it, despite my request - and the garlic bread strips were small. I suppose everything these days is expensive, but it felt underwhelming. I also ordered a cup of the soup of the day: shrimp and corn. My former favorite - I used to visit specifically for that dish - it's now best described as unmemorable. The service was friendly and fine, despite some mistakes. With one room now basically dedicated to the bar and pool tables, there's a more noticeable "sports bar" vibe, though I don't think there were a bunch of TVs in the dining area? I wasn't really paying attention to that. If you're looking for a place to play pool, drink, and eat something decent, sure, this is still a good bet. But if you're just looking to go out and have a great meal in Hammond, Mariner's Inn no longer makes the recommendation list.
