The food here is actually really good, but the service is quite awful. Many times I've come here and there's either no one at the registers or there's a single person there dealing with a line of 10+ people. The wait for the food is much longer than other Popeyes I've been to and since this particular area is less than savory it's not a good combination. There's always someone begging for change outside and you'll often see the trash containers outdoors piled to the brim. First time going and will not be going back. Not because of the food because the chicken was good and so were the apple pies (they were out of the strawberry cheesecake special pie, which I had ordered online but pie is pie). I ONLY have an issue at this location when a specific employee takes my order. She has HORRIBLE customer service skills and should not be working the register. Rude and unprofessional staff that give you attitude if you ask for condiments. They treat condiments as if they are gold and never send for deliveries and are the source of attitude at the store. They NEVER get the orders right. NEVER. If you have to order from this location you HAVE to actually go in if you want even the hope of getting what you order. Lovely experience. I went on Tuesday 2/10/2015 and was so pleased beyond expectations! The manager seemed to be tired but that didn't stop him from being super friendly! His staff was very nice and gave me extra plates for my friends and I who had come in with a 20$ coupon for 13 pieces and 7 biscuit dinner. At the end of our meal we got free dessert- maybe they had made too many pies? Whatever, we ate them too! The food was good. The chicken was crispy and always better than KFC. We got a lot of chicken too- big pieces. The only thing was that the biscuits were a little too salty. Maybe they should've put less butter on it but it was edible. Not dry and hard, they were flaky and soft and warm! It was 13 pieces for 3 of us and we ended up taking some home! The place is clean. We saw one of the staffs clean up right after each costumer while we were there and to me cleaning in a fast food place is very important! The highlight of this place is the soda machine! Sooo many selections! I tried many flavors and it was fresh. Not like that weird fountain taste that some machines have. I love it and will be coming back! The service member at this location named Sky was the nicest, sincere, and courteous person I've encountered. She first compliments my shirt (Star Wars ) and then also tells me about promotions and specials they were having. That alone was great. But also how she handled one angry customer with grace (he wasn't clear on his order, I heard where messed up). You can see she is a hard worker and a sincere person. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about in regards to this location being dirty/poor service. I've never had a problem with my order both when ordering in the store and using Uber eats for deliver from this location! I also think this location is really clean inside compared to others I've been to. As far as the food goes, I think Popeyes fried chicken is the best when it comes to fast food options. I have had several experiences with this particular location.. Some of which were awesome and some of which were terrible. I typically do laundry next door so I end up here from time to time. This has allowed me to be forgiving of bad experiences and be a repeat consumer. I have had times where I get to the location before 10 and am told they are closed. I have had times when they give me extra food because they are closing. I have dealt with attitudes and very friendly staff. Currently been sitting here waiting for over 15 minutes for food. I'm #65, #74 has come and gone. Upon asking the manager for a reason for the delay since 3 people left with large orders (I mean this is fast food, right??) I was told that we were waiting on breast with a nasty attitude. Poor customer service. The employees forgot my order and after 15 minutes of waiting I followed up to see what was going on and they laughed and said "we forgot, we will make it now." It is like the Wild West in there, no order and no manners. Also the parking is impossible, with only a few parking spaces shared among 3 businesses (one of which is a laundry facility which is always packed with customers and takes up much of the parking) there is no drive thru at this location either and customers tend to loiter for hours after being served. Welcome Popeye's to the neighborhood. Staff still needs more training. All kids behind the counter. It's a good thing they are working but have no direction. They talked among themselves while order tickets were just sitting there. They complained that the manager hired to many employees and everybody was fighting for shifts.The place is clean because they are still new. It's Popeye's chicken, so you know exactly what to expect no matter what location you visit. I have to give this four stars because of the service though. The line was all the way back to the door, yet I was in and out without waiting a ridiculous amount of time. The food is good, and its fairly clean in the dining area. MOST of the staff requires retraining. The customer service is terrible.

I love Popeyes and this is my local one but I usually try to avoid going here. 7 out of 10 times they will forget to give you something you ordered and paid for. And to make it worse the wait time is horrible for a location not in a very busy area. Expect to to wait 15 to 25mins. My 2 stars is for the one employee who is an older woman wearing a hijab. She is pretty much the only employee there who is polite and does not have attitude. Also she's the only constant face I've seen in the past couple of months. read more
