We ordered a classic chicken sandwich and the three piece chicken tenders. One of the tenders dropped on the counter and she picked it up and put it back in the bag. As we tried to pick up our order they called out another order and when those customers tried to wait for us to leave the area as a social distancing courtesy, the girl just kept calling them. Ultimately all four customers stood right next to each other. In the car after eating a bite of the sandwich I noticed it was spicy. They also charged us and gave us the five piece tenders, unfortunately we didn't notice that until later. They didnt get either item correct. When we took the sandwich back, instead of asking me to just throw it away, they took it back behind the counter and hopefully at least threw it away. I only came to eat at this Popeye's because it's a stop that the Megabus takes from LA to San Jose and I was hungry and opted in for the choice of having some fried chicken. Parking: plenty of parking, the place is pretty much a deserted land but there are plenty of gas stations The person that was taking orders was taking days, but I guess that's also because the woman in front of me had finished ordering one thing to only realize that she wanted something else, so they had to void the order and fix it....They were also pretty slow at taking my order. What kind of ticked me off the most was that I had gotten a meal, and the lady that was giving me my food had just given me the box, with the fork and I was like can I get a bag.....? I had said that I was taking it to-go. If I was eating my meal there, that would have been a little more understandable. I had ordered a 3 piece SPICY chicken meal with coleslaw. I first have to say that NONE of my chicken pieces were SPICY and I LOVE spicy food so I had to try and balance it with their Louisiana Hot sauce. Also, the coleslaw is NOTHING like the ones that I normally get from KFC, I don't really eat Popeyes often, but I have to say that I won't be getting their coleslaw again because mine was drenched. 1. Bought an 8-piece chicken without biscuit for $16.99 and a chicken sandwich for $4.99 as listed on the restaurant's menu board. 2. When the bill came, we were surprised that we were charged $19.99 for the 8-piece chicken and $5.49 for the sandwich. 3. When we asked the host Monserrat why the difference, she indicated that corporate changed the price that day and that she cannot do anything about it. i.e. not change the price in the computer or change the price on the menu board. 4. We were dismayed by the explanation and requested for the supervisor. 5. A senior employee, Citlali appeared and parroted Monserrat's explanation. 6. By now, we are beyond appalled by the nonchalance and cavalier attitude shown by both employees. 7. A supervisor, Tabatha appeared and initially repeated the same stance of passing the buck to corporate. When asked why they were not informing the customer during the ordering process that there is a price difference, she relented and made things right by giving us some discount. She also told the other 2 employees that from thereon, they need to disclose this to customers as they order. Conclusion: The difference was really nothing to us. We would have paid the extra amount had we've been told upfront of the new price. What bothered us was the lack of transparency. It is apparent to us that the root cause is corporate not empowering the restaurant staff to change prices on the menu board to reflect what was on the computer. Or, if indeed the practice cannot be delegated, to train the staff to disclose price difference during ordering. read more

This Popeye's was my best experience. The customer service was amazing. They didn't have want my dad wanted because of shipping problems but did their best to make the experience great. Food was fine, standard Popeye's quality which I generally love, establishment was clean, staff was friendly, and the order was correct. My main gripe was the cost. Expect airport prices with probably a 50% mark-up. Minor gripe was the tea, as it tasted a bit oversteeped, and the chicken tenders had several tough veins of gristle, although I can't blame that on the specific location. If I had known there would be such a mark-up I would've waited 15 minutes to visit the Bakersfield location which was also on our route home, although other travelers may not wish to venture that far from the interstate. read more

This was the best Popeyes experience I have ever had. First off, they are one of the few places that have not ran out of the legendary chicken sandwich. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was even better than I anticipated ( blew chick fil a out of the water). This is a great pit stop for people driving long distances. This is the worst Popeyes I've ever been in. Line was short but employees seemed distracted and inefficient. We ordered our food and they seemed unsure of everything. After waiting about 10 minutes for fresh chicken they tried to short our order an extra chicken breast and told us we would have to wait another 15 minutes if we wanted another breast.
