More like Americanized Korean takeout food with a pinch of Korean meat flavors. You get rice and vegetables plus sauces at no charge. My mini size chicken bowl with brown rice and vegetables was perfect at $6.50. Yummy! Half & half beef and chicken with white rice and vegetables was also very good at $10.50. Where can you get great taste good quality meats at fast food restaurants these days? Vegetables were healthy and good at bottom of bowl. Yes, Good grain brown rice was light. Good food packaging and food presentation. Appealing and delicious for the fast appetite. The small fountain drink was $2.75, but we got it for free since it came with the mini size bowl order. Yes, enough tables and chairs inside for dining in as desired. They get busy with takeouts. Happy hours do exist here, so definitely look for deals. Restroom was also kept clean. had the worst experience ever here last night :/ My cousin and I specifically came to this location to sit down ina quiet nice spot and have our fave healthy fast food. Unfortunately we were rudely rushed out by the tall mean-girl brunette. It was about 730 when we walked in and they didn't close until 9. She rolled her eyes as we walked in, faked a half smile when speaking to us, and each time she looked down to type the order the disgust was quite loud on her face. We told her we'd eat here and again she huffed and rolled her eyes. she gave us our food bagged up. We were sitting at a table and after giving us our food she proceeded to sweep directly next to our table...and if you don't know you should know that's rude af. After this we left bc clearly she's sending a message. I know so many people Desperate for work and yet here she is being an ass on the job that she chooses to work at. Weird. For about $30, we got three full trays; each containing either the meat, veggies, or rice. It also included 4 oz containers of the magic sauce, hot sauce, and green onions. The meat is basted in sauce and/or marinated, and then charbroiled to perfection. The veggies are steamed to a softness that just has just the right texture. The food here doesn't leave you feeling bloated and nasty afterwards. It's got to be one of the healthier type of "fast food." And since it's the start of a new year, what better choice than Flame Broiler! FYI, the online ordering system only had the Gosford location, not the Coffee Road one. Started the year right with some curd love. Tried and Loved the tofu bowl! Very savory, and just the right amount in a bowl so you don't feel too gluttonous after finishing the food. But I was disappointed when I saw that they now give out the sauces themselves and you only get like 2 with your meal! I love the magic sauce and want like 4 with my bowl. When we were paying and the cashier asked if we want any sauces I asked for A LOT of magic sauce please. With my regular bowl and his plate we got 4. When I asked for more she said more than this would be 50 cents each. Thats something she should've mentioned when we were paying not after! Besides this, the food was okay. The meat was bland like boiled meat but dry, over cooked and chewy. I had 4 large pieces of gristle in my bowl. I eventually gave up on the meat and gave it to my husband and just ate the rice and vegetables. the rice was extremely dry and not seasoned. Some spices could of made me proud in a major way. Maybe cilantro or citrus maybe vinegar. I'm all for no salt but nothing at all that shameful. Doubtful I'll be returning, it's out if my way and I cook better. The chicken was tough, it had a ton of cartilage, I ordered it spicy but there was hardly any of the spice sauce on it. It was as if it was just cooked and not tossed in anything. Mom and I like to eat heathy whenever we can, so we're always on the lookout for new restaurants that qualify, particularly if it is healthy FAST FOOD, so you can imagine how excited we were to try out the new Flame Broiler restaurant on Coffee Road. I ordered a beef veggie bowl and mom ordered the chicken veggie bowls. The bowls were both simply constructed consisting of rice, steamed broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and green onions. The meat is marinaded and grilled (not fried) but the best part is that it isn't drowned in a sugary sauce. You have the option of eating it the way it comes, topping it with magic (it's not really magic, it's teriyaki) sauce, and/or the hot sauce. I really appreciate the fact I get to choose how much of each sauce to use. Mom used a little of the teriyaki sauce and I used a little teriyaki and a LOT of the hot sauce. It's healthy. It's tasty. It's not the cheapest, but it's not horribly expensive, either. I'm not convinced that it is definitively better than Kento's, but it's a contender. read more

This place is nice. Very nice staff and helpful with the menu. The food was good for the most part. The beef is marinated in some teriyaki sauce, as it is a little sweet. The chicken though, is a bit bland and lacks seasoning. The rice and vegetables were good as well. The sauces: the "magic sauce" is a teriyaki sauce that has way too much salt. Please use this with caution, as this will ruin your dish if your pour it on. "Hot sauce" is pretty much hot vinegar, as it resembles wing sauce. "Hot hot" sauce is the best one, as it has good jalepeno flavor and good heat. This is strong, be careful. Overall, this place is nice. Be careful of the sauces. As a healthy restaurant, they need to add more vegetables and reduce the amount of rice. read more

They do not prepare the order until you get there, but they do get your food out right away. Love this place, cannot say enough good things. I have tried the chicken and steak. My usual order is half and half (chicken and steak) with brown rice and veggies. Both are good, I have always wanted to try the tofu option, but have not been brave enough haha. Sauces! I get one of each. The magic sauce is sweet, I would compare to a teriyaki sauce. Green, that one brings the heat, I love spicy so I always get this! Red, basically a buffalo sauce.
