I use the app for every Popeye's chicken location that I've ever visited in the drive through. Why did they tell me that they don't take app orders in the drive through. I needed to come inside. I tried to explain, I have a simple order and mobility challenges. So I parked and went inside. The floor was so greasy and damp that my cane slipped from under me two to three times. Luckily, I didn't fall. All of this just to see the employees arguing amongst each other with total disregard of the customers waiting. Every time I go here the wait is usually 20 plus minutes. 10 minutes to drive to the restaurant 33 plus minute wait for food and the management crew does not seem to care. They have the orders stacked up on the counter and will not start the order until the driver arrives. Rude Service & Charged for Food I Never Received Today, I visited the Popeyes at 300 E. 35th St. and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I accidentally drove past the order-taking speaker in the drive-thru (my mistake) and was told by an employee named Desiree to either go back through the drive-thru or come inside. I went inside, but she ignored me at the counter until I finally got her attention. When I politely asked how long my order might take, she told me I should have been asking "someone else," gave me no information about my food, and then said she "didn't give a f***" and to take my complaints elsewhere. I contacted Uber Eats (since my order was through them) and was told I couldn't get a refund yet because the system still showed my order as in progress.
