I know portion sizes have gotten smaller and my complaint isn't on the 14 pc tenders i got today. They didn't have rice and beans nor mashed potatoes. Look, I get that it may be busy.. but at least give me some fresh fries that aren't dry and lukewarm to almost cold. This is a family meal i ordered for nearly $30! There was also NOBODY at the restaurant! I was the only one! It's so bizarre how literally any other fast food location is on top of it while popeyes always lacks. No Stars. Placed on online order to get to the restaurant and find they only have Cole slaw and tenders. This is very unfair to the employees who are working with no manager. The young man was so apologetic. Went through the drive-through ordered a four piece with fries and a chicken sandwich with no mayo made it back home only to realize they completely forgot the fries put extra mayo on the sandwich and the four piece was more like a 2 1/2 piece. Ordered online 20 minutes before arriving at Popeyes. Waited 20 minutes for my food. Asked what was taking so long and Isabella the manager said that they don't have the regular chicken sandwich, only the spicy. Asked why i had to wait 20 minutes by the drive through for them to ask me that, and didn't get an answer. Asked them to just give me a spicy sandwich rather than the original. I luv this Popeyes, specifically because the food is always hot and fresh, but also because the gentleman that works at the drive-through window it the nicest person ever. He is always so polite asking about if we need extra sauces or anything. It makes me come back to this location quite a bit. The lady that takes the orders is super friendly as well. The team seems like they are super happy, and they work together. Honestly, when I don't want to drive and sit down at Babe's restaurant, this is an excellent option!! I went back in and asked the manager if I could get three pieces of thighs since I've been here for 25 minutes, not extra just swap out the keg thighs and wings for three thighs and she said no and I said I've been here 25 minutes waiting in my car 15 minutes and y'all can do that for me. I finally tried the famous chicken sandwich, the spicy one that is, and I will say it was good... but I think it was a bit on the overrated side. Not to say I wouldn't ever eat it again.. that's like a no brainer, it was really juicy chicken but had the right crunch, the sauce was spot on, definitely on the spicy side, the pickles were delicious and the bread was soft and kinda sweet. I really enjoyed the Cajun fries with the Mardi Gras sauce. Now this facility is brand new so it was as expected, extremely clean and well set up, bathrooms were clean and smelt nice. Dude this place was hoppin' when we arrived and slowly dwindled down. The staff were all attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my experience. Next time I want to try the regular chicken sandwich and see how it fairs against the spicy chicken sandwich. Literally impressed with this location. I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and 2 regular fries. I specifically asked for fresh fries when ordering. I stated again when I got to the window, please make sure the fries are fresh. She replied back yes mam they will be fresh. I waited a few minutes and then she gave me my order. We checked the bag as we were leaving and they were NOT FRESH as requested. The were old, cold and just thrown in the bottom of the bag, not even in the package. They were underneath the chicken sandwiches. This used to be a really good location but it has gone down hill the last couple of months. Last time we stopped here two months ago, we ended up with food poisoning. Food is good most times, but the issue is they charge for sauces and then don't put it in the bag (this has happened 3 times). The wait is typically long and we always have to pull up to a parking spot (all 3 times). Tonight they forgot to finish the meal and didn't put sauce on the chicken that we paid extra for. YUP! If people needed to validate a definition of "sloth", please visit this place. 3/1/2024 - around 7pm - Oh MY GOD!!! The narcosis type attitude was just oozing from these individuals to the point that getting a box of chicken took over 30 mins. This was the 3rd and final time visiting this Popeyes within the past 6 months as each time I hoped it would get better. I guess by increasing the minimum wage, they also succeeded in making sure this place will close very soon....Once we finally were called up to get our food, they dropped off our bag onto the counter and walked away - did not even offer any sauce or anything for chicken tenders/etc.....Customer service is just horrible......chicken was hot, but wings and tenders were cool to touch....horrible....chicken baskets were almost empty on a Friday evening - ya believe that??? You know the drill. Drive up, order quickly and drive away before any of your health conscious friends see you. Tell yourself you're going to work it out on the treadmill and doing more cardio. My hubby always gets the 3 piece dark, crispy, spicy. A side of red beans and rice and a large mashed potatoes with gravy. I like the white meat myself. We had to try the ghost pepper wings too. Those are not too bad. Heavy on that famous Popeye's batter and just a little heat. I made a meal out of those wings. This location is new so the employees are super friendly, accurate and fast. Somehow, it being so fresh contributed to the amazing giblet gravy that goes over the green beans and mashed potatoes. We'll go back, I am sure. First off, I love Popeyes chicken. Stopped at this location to try and find a chicken sandwich and they were sold out. No big deal because I love the chicken. So, we order an 8 piece tenders family meal ($18.99). We got to the window and had been charged for an 8 piece Regular Bone in chicken meal ($20.99). We tried explaining it to the workers but they kept coming back saying "we ring it up as tenders but this is what it gives us.". Not having time to argue, they got our two dollars this time. In any case, the service is slow and inattentive; you have to repeat your order over and over because they don't listen The speakers for the background music have been blown for over a year and produce the most annoying, scratchy horrible sound. Almost impossible to bear while eating. At first I thought maybe this store was just going through a phase, a short down period. But it's been a mess for over a year.
