Always a bad experience. You'll sit in line for an hour in traffic just for them to tell you they are out of what you wanted. The food tastes old like it's been sitting out all day. The people that work there don't care they're just there to get a check at this point. Horrible! read more

Out of our three last (attempted) visits to this Popeye's to dine-in, only once did someone actually come over to the register to take our order. For the other two visits, after several minutes of waiting without any acknowledgment from the 7+ staff standing there, we left and went somewhere else. This last time, you could hear a likely manager telling a person with his back to us that "there is someone there to be served" at least 3 times, and he ignored it. Finally a staff member came back from the restroom and took our order. The food was not super hot, but was the typical quality. The tables needed to be cleaned. It is hard not to take this lack of service personally - or not even think of it racially. The staff are all black, and we are white. We didn't call out or complain about it being slow, so we did our part to be courteous. Overall, if you have dine-in, you need to communicate with your customers. We won't be back - enough is enough. read more

The wait in the drive through is always greater than 45 min, the food is cold, the orders are incorrect and the notify Door Dash that your order has been made knowing full well it hasn't. The keep the doors locked so you can't come in to order, the phone number on the door is incorrect so you cannot call them. The employee are ALWAYS very RUDE, I don't know how the owner stays in business! The location I visited was 260th St, Euclid, OH 44132. It had to be one of the most unprofessional experiences I ever had. One customer had been waiting over 30 minutes. he was understandably upset and asked to see the manager. When he spoke with the manager the manager yelled back at him. Instead of apologizing and reassuring the customer There were about 8-9 workers who were walking around and appeared to be doing...nothing. They moved liked turtles, as if they didn't care and had all the time in the world. No real sense of urgency. I did not understand what the hold up was. The racks were full of chicken and food. So it's not as if we had to wait for the food to be prepared/cooked Let's talk about the workers. I do not like young women working around food with loose hair. A few had synthetic/fake hair and I know how much they shed. Ok, do let me start by saying i love Popeyes chicken! It's the best spicy chicken since Sisters Chicken & Rice! But i went to this restaurant and bought the 8 pc spicy combo with a large beans snd rice, (which was amazing), and also ordered a side of mac-n-cheese. This is where i'm disappointed! Popeyes chicken and sides are very good. I'm finding that the biggest issue is the staff and restaurant cleanliness at their locations. The location on 260th on Euclid ave has staff that are mostly rude and have horrible hygiene practices. The workers will have on gloves and still touch and rub everything in sight without changing them when handling food. Staff speak to customers in a non professional manner. While the dine in areas are usually clean, the cooking area is dirty and grungy. read more

If you can swallow your pride a little, the food was pretty good. The service was rude as I was talked over by an aggressive drive-thru window worker every time that I tried to respond to something she said. I suppose that as a paying Popeye's customer, I am to be treated as a 2nd class citizen if I don't look or sound like an Africano. Another victory for those who's personality it is, is to try to establish dominance over others? The customers are not allowed much verbal initiative here except for a simple polite "thanks" sometimes. Best fried chicken anywhere (if you just get the spicy drum sticks). Unlike KFC, their chicken still tastes good even when it's at room temperature and not warm anymore. Once KFC chicken falls to room temperature it tastes VERY nasty. Has something to do with the new laws governing the type of cooking oils cities allow. read more

I love Popeyes, but this particular store and staff are horrendous. Been a few times where you try to go around noon to get some lunch and they tell you that they are of chicken. At lunchtime! They close their doors early (understandable as the neighborhood isn't great) so you have to use the drive thru. Be prepared to wait a good hour. I'm not even kidding. KFC or Mr. Chicken gets my business now, as I refuse to put up with such horrible service. read more
