This Popeye's is a hit or miss as far as service goes. I've had really good service here and I've had REALLY slow service. I recommend going inside for faster service. This Popeyes had such great customer service, my child went out of her way to say they deserved a review on Yelp (lol). It's Popeyes, it's fast food, so there isn't MUCH to say, but everything you could possibly excel at when ordering fast food, they did. Our order was fairly hard (as most spacey indecisive child orders are). The girl who took it was very patient and polite, and did not miss a beat. When we got to the window the politeness passed on to all of the other people working there. Enough for me to thank them for their good customer service and they were very appreciative of the compliment. So much that they said they had an extra sweet tea made if anyone in our car wanted it. Yesterday (7-11-2019) I thought I might give this place another shot to give them a chance to make amends for the disastrous previous visits there......nope......same old story. I walk past 4 employees sitting at a table talking and then up to the counter to order my dine-in food. Of course there was nobody behind the counter, as usual. I waited another 2 minutes or so when one of the employees breaks away from the table, goes behind the counter, walks right past me and says nothing. She then washes her hands and I figure she'll take my order when she finishes. Nope! She turns and walks toward the rear of the kitchen and disappears. I look over to the 3 employees at the table. They don't budge. I turn around and walk out, vowing never to return that location again. I've been going to this location for years. It has been poorly run for some time. Service is slow and employees have an attitude from the manager on down. My orders have been missing something more than half of the time for the last year or so, so I now check everything while I'm still there. My last visit will truly be my last visit. I was missing two items after waiting for my order for over 20 minutes. Went back inside to get missing items and lady said "Oh I knew I didn't give somebody something". Then she asked for a bag for the tea I ordered and then they forgot about me. After about another 10 minutes of waiting I finally asked for the manager who had an attitude from the beginning. Come to find out, after ordering over 30 minutes ago, they did not even have the tea made! I explained the food in my car was now cold and just wanted a refund. He never apologized and wouldn't help get the food out of my vehicle. Insisted that I go outside and bring it back in or he was going to call the police. REALLY? Why should I be inconvenienced further due to their mistakes? I told him he could come outside and get the food or I would leave it on the curb. He refused, so I put the food on the curb and then he got in front of my vehicle and called the police! Police apologized and let me go. Unbelievable. Reported incident to corporate and never received a call back. Popeyes does not care about their customers. They feel they are doing YOU a favor by servicing you.
