Still my Go-To chicken tender restaurant. The chicken tenders are noticeably better than they were when the new management first took over -- and much larger now (original size)! A little more seasoning and these tenders would be absolutely perfect IMO! This is why I'm giving the good review. My biggest qualm that got me to write this, however, is the appalling lack of their amazing sauce provided now! We used to get literal tubs of sauce!! Now for our 14 tenders and 2 orders of fries, we only got 3 tiny mini-condiment containers of sauce total.... Which was not even enough for 3 tenders! I can't say enough good things about their chicken tenders. The chicken chains are a joke compared to Usual Suspects. The tenders are big and juicy and very reasonably priced. If they had a drive thru, it would be packed all day. This is our go to when we want to feed our family of 5 and everyone is happy! I do agree with another review that they are stingy with their dipping sauces. We never have enough for our 25 strip order. They also changed their French fry recipe to "natural fries" which are now soggy. Wish they would go back to old recipe. They were yummy! I feel like they are trying to do too much. We really like the wings at this place and go there often on Wednesdays for half price wing day. They do their own hand cut fries and sweet potato fries. All the other food looks good, too but so far it's wings, fries of some type and Cole slaw for us. They have specials on other menu items during the week. The portions are generous, the prices fair and the service good--can be a little slow at peak times, but your patience is rewarded. read more

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza on Monday, April 17th. It was terrible. I distinctly ordered a large pepperoni with olives cooked crispy and was told it would have marinaro and mozzarella for take out. Upon arriving home it had a thick, appearing uncooked, crust, minimal pepperoni, tons of mozzarella and no discernible marinara. Nastiest pizza I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, not worth the time and effort for $20 to bring it back. read more

I had a uber eats order and on the app, a drink was allowed because it's a meal, no upcharge. When I asked where the drink was (I check all my orders to make sure that they aren't missing a drink) they said that it's a separate charge. And since i don't like when people screw others over, I went to go ask them about it, in the end the manager and staff were rude and had an attitude with me the entire time. The Usual Suspect is pretty much a clone of Cane's as far as the food goes. They have the same menu with a few variations. Chicken strips, crinkle fries (plain, cajun or sweet potato), slaw, texas toast and dipping sauces. One difference is they offer several different sauces rather than just their suspect sauce. The guy who took my order (I'm assuming he was the owner or the manager) was really friendly and brought my food out to me when it was done. One thing I noticed is that he knew every customer by name that came in while I was there. The food is good and boy do they give you a lot of it. I was stuffed when I left. The place is fairly dark but I like the 80's theme. They have a few posters on the wall like The Outsiders, AC/DC, Ferris Bueller and a couple other ones. Plus they play all 80's music which I love! I used to eat here three times a week. The food is good. The service is horrible. I cannot eat three of their chicken fingers so I always order the kids meal. They are extremely cheap with the packaging so they cram the toast into the box with the chicken and fries. This crushes the toast so I always ask them to leave the box open so my texas toast isn't crushed. This time the order taker, who called himself General Manager, said "the last time I brought you the box I dropped the chicken fingers and had to buy them so I'm not leaving the box open". He did this in a loud voice and was as nasty as possible so I asked to see the lady cooking who I knew was the manager. He then yelled through the window "Mom come here please." I said refund my money and got out of there as quickly as possible. I will never be back. The two guys who owned it previously were great! This crew not so much. read more

Updated Review as of 09/16/17 I used to highly recommend this place over Canes, but I just can't anymore. My fiancé and I regularly eat here to the point most of the people know us(2 7pc, large drinks). The quality has gone so unbelievably down hill. The last two times, the breading on the chicken just falls off and is so soggy it's gross. There's been times we've ordered the 7pc, paid for the 7, and received only 5. Then there's the fries. I usually get "Cajun" fries and my fiancé gets regular. On more than one occasion, they have substituted the "Cajun fries" for what I think were literally bagged curly fries from Walmart or something. Absolutely no flavor. Which, the Cajun fries really don't even have flavor as it is. Moving on. Today we ordered the usual 7pc meals. They are supposed to come with three sauces, but we both only got 2. Then as usual, they put the sauces sideways in the container next to the chicken. This causes the lids on the sauce to "curl" and makes the sauce spill all over in the box. Usual Suspects has just gone so down hill I don't think we'll be back. Bad soggy breading, tasteless generic fries, inconsistent quality control, and honestly, there's been a few times the girls at the front counter have been a bit rude. You may get bigger pieces of chicken at Usual Suspects, but that's it. Now I TRULY know the difference between Usual Suspects and Raising Canes. Quality. And Raising Canes wins. read more

They even have a combo for those wanting a chicken tender sandwich. The sauces are what really makes the chicken stand out. Honey mustard, barbecue, their house sauce that reminds me of a remalaude called Suspect sauce, buffalo, a homemade ranch, and a sweet chili sauce called Samurai. Prices are moderate. Expect to average around $9 per person, but it is well worth it. The food is made fresh and comes out super hot. When you call in a pick up order you can subdivide it for individual persons if you are ordering for a group like from work. I go in there to eat with my child and they want to tell me there is no chicken and they think it's a big joke! I asked to speak to the supervisor, he refused to give me his last name so I could make a report. All because they didn't feel like working they turned us away. You know I'm glad they did, because after that I could only imagine what goes on in the back with the food.
