I have never experienced such horrible service than the service I had here. The drive through staff is super rude. I had an encounter with a drive through worker for the last time today. Since I know they are sometimes busy I placed my order through the app at 5:07pm and at around 5:45pm I went to go pick it up. I was told in the drive through to pull back around the drive through once again since the drive thru is timed. The second time around the young man told me that they didn't have an online order for me. I then showed him the emailed receipt which included the order number that was provided for my order. I was then told that they just didn't have my order. I then went and parked my car to speak to someone about a refund for this order but as soon as I walked inside I see my order receipt with a bunch of other order receipts just next to the register. I got my receipt and told one of the staff members at the front who was actually nice that this was my order and she started working on it. This hasn't been the first or second or even third time that I've had a bad experience at this location but since I know how the fast food industry is nowadays I'm very lenient and don't really care too much. Holy mother of Hypeness it is all so real! I'm going to be honest here and just say I've never been a big fan of Popeye's. It's not them it's just I really dont care much for breaded foods period. Every now and then I do enjoy a light breaded crisp chicken though so maybe I'll drive by real quick..maybe. So as everyone in the world knows unless you've been living under a rock, they came out with 2 chicken sandwiches ;The classic and the spicy. The only difference is one has spicy mayo the other regular. With all the hoopla about the wait time and whatnot on the news I was definitely not going to be one of those people...so I lied to myself. When I heard the sandwich came back after being sold out completely at one point we thought we should pass by to crack jokes about the people waiting in line. Well turns out there was a line...a short one..maybe about 8 cars ..so we were like "F" it, why not? So we were lucky because as we waited it was as if everyone had the same epiphany to come to and that's when the line got long. By the time we got up to the menu we knew we should be extra nice as these employees I'm sure were in the "I'm so done" phase. We made a quick order and was sure to say please and thank you and the girl o the mic actually sounded like she appreciated that. By the time we got up to the window we killed her with kindness and made small talk. We were out in a total time of about 20 mins, not bad. When we got home our first bite was everything! The sandwich is huge and the chicken breast is flavored to capacity, you dont need anything else. Heck u can even throw away the bread and just eat it with the mayo and pickles on top. It was glorious I say. Our eyes were rolling over with every bite..we looked at eachother with that knowingly head nod and knew that it was absolutely real..all the hype! They really deserve a reward for this sandwich. Would I come back for this alone..hell to the yeah! Came by and there was only one car in the drive through. Placed my order and told me it would take 7 min. Ok no problem pulled up into the parking lot and waited the 7 min, no one came. Decided to give them benefit of the doubt and waited another 7 min. Still nothing, so I decided to go into the store to ask about my food. Everyone is confused about my order or the fact that I even made one. The team tells me it's going to be another 5 min. The manager apologized and offered me a free meal. At this point I would have left a better review until I saw her..... the girl that took my order was just standing there giving me a weird look with her fingers in her mouth. She then proceeded to start eating a sandwich in the kitchen and start touching everything with her dirty hands, I wanted to vomit. I went through the drive through ordered 3 piece combo (legs) only with mash potatoes and sweet tea and a 10 piece meal. I tried to order two pies at the window but I'm told it's a wait...I decline. I get to my parents' home twenty minutes away and find no 3 piece combo although they gave me the drink ...I call them no answer the first time, second time someone picks up phone and hang up, 3rd time someone answers and tells me bring my receipt and they'll give it to me. Well 1st problem they didn't give me an itemized receipt...2nd problem I'm 20 minutes away waste of gas and my time to come back. I ask can it be refunded I'm told yeah if I bring my receipt...I explain the distance and ask if I can give my credit card info and have it refunded. Employee breathes hard and sucks her teeth. Silence upon me saying hello and male answers...(excuse me did your employee beat me mad?!) I tell the gentleman on the phone yall have to work on customer service...he says "yeah" no apology. I explain it happened again. His solution I can come today or tomorrow and he'll hold the missing items for me. But even for a refund I have to bring him the receipt. I explain the distance today and tomorrow would be further because I don't live in this area nor his. He can only do it in the store... DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU CAN HELP IT!! I've gone there two times in the last two months counting today and both times were a complete disappointment! This time was a special treat of the showcase of the special kind of stupid they have on display there. The whole restaurant was full of smoke (one can only wonder why) and even though I got there a half hour after they opened, they didn't have any spicy chicken ready, which my order called for (even though they put classic which is plain on the receipt). I asked for white meat only, which did make it to the receipt but once I got home they gave me a breast and a thigh!!. They only have one person in the back cooking and the rest seemed to be wishing they were somewhere else. Who could blame them though. After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures I checked the dirty dining app to see if they had issues. I will say we did not see or have any problem as others described. The store looked clean and wasn't in a state that I would not eat at. We ordered a family chicken meal and a couple sides. The food came out hot and fresh and tasted great. Only had one car in front of me and waited over 30 minutes in the drive thru to get food. I was told to back up to reset the counter twice and finally asked to wait in a parking spot where they would bring my food and where a number of other vehicles were also waiting. After waiting an additional 15 minutes I left with partial order as my order never came even after making the drive thru line again to ask for status. The tenders I did receive were horrendous. On my first bite, unfortunately after getting home, I bit into a tender and I'm not sure what was in my tender but it was not chicken it had the texture of chicken fat. I pull up to the drive through, and because I normally don't eat at Popeyes, ask for a few minutes to look over the menu. The girl who was working the register literally gives me an additional 20 seconds and rudely said "are you ready to order yet??" I replied curtly "sure", and picked something that looked edible. Mind you, there was no one in line but me! And no one in the lobby either. Why was I being rushed? I ordered a meal with French fries and a dr pepper. The cashier says "do you want mashed potatoes instead?", and I again replied "sure", though that is not at all what I wanted. I can only assume they were being lazy and didn't have any french fries handy. To put the icing on the cake, she didn't give me a total, didn't say thank you, but instead rudely barked "pull up to the window". Like could you be any worse at customer service? Spoiler alert: she could. When I get up to the window, she hands me my food and says "we're out of root beer". I'm like "that's fine. I'll have a mt dew please", all the time thinking I didn't order a root beer.. Then she's like "oh! We do have root beer", and starts pouring it. Facepalm. Im like "but I didn't want root beer.. I don't like root beer", when in reality, I hate root beer. I loathe it. So now I'm sitting here drinking mt dew that tastes like root beer, and eating -surprisingly good- mashed potatoes that I still wish were french fries. Second time have been to this Popeyes and have not had any problems, But I will say that the directions in the Yelp app is really off so I believe people may be giving bad reviews for the wrong Popeyes because this Popeyes is really knew and the people working here seem very friendly plus plenty of parking . Came with my husband for a quick stop at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday, and the guy attending us told us they were only accepting cash... then smack his lips and said ok whenever you read lmk what you would like to order, since we didn't drive off . Then continued to have a disgusting personal conversation with other employees, mentioned the word "f***" like ten times in the whole conversation. I was pissed by the unprofessionalism of this. So I proceeded by telling him " excuse me your mic is still on" . The employee response was " yeah I know" ,and continued with his extremely personal conversation with the other employees. By this time we completely gave up on trying to place an order, so we left. As we drive off we try to look inside and a whole party is happening between the employees. Terrible terrrible location. I went through the drive through and ordered 2 meals and need to make a change to one of the meals to one spicy. when we got to the window, I informed the cashier of my request one of the employees that was packing the food told the cashier to tell me that next time they I would not be able to make changes at the window.
