I just went to this place for the first time to pick up my uber order and since I didn't want to pull to the side just to make it easier for the guys to just hand me the order through the window drive thur I got yelled at by a worker and he said "if you don't fucking pull to the side i'm going to call the POLICE and that SHOCK ME I was like Wow whatt and there was nobody else behind me it was just me. I have always enjoyed their food, especially the spicy chicken and red beans and rice but they can't seem to figure out what their hours of operation are supposed to be. I was there at 8:45 Saturday night and they said they were sorry that they were closed at 9? Now their web page says that they are closed at 5pm every day. Get it together Popeye's. read more

I have been a huge fan of Popeyes nuggets since their debut. Unlike chic-fil-a, Popeyes nuggets are beautifully crunchy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. My past two orders were such disappointments I had to post a review. My nuggets were over cooked, dry, chewy, and basically inedible. It's extremely disappointing to wait in line 25 minutes to get crappy food! I don't know what's going on, but if a restaurant can't serve a consistent level of quality they need to rethink their mission. They're very close to losing me as a customer. If anyone else has noticed a decline in quality please share your experience. read more

Finally took the time to visit and I have to say, what a huge disappointment!!! Ordered 4 piece dark meat with fries and a side Order of canon rice. Ordered the wife a 3 piece chicken tender meal with mash potato and gravy. Completely forgot my wife's chicken and my canon rice. Not too mention like the other person said, instead of having person pull forward and allow other orders to filter through, they have them wait there and cause a major major wait time for all others. I hope this place improves soon because they're not living up to their reputation from other locations. read more

so I roll into the drive through at 9:10 pm, I see there is a car at the drive up window. I googled to see when they closed since I live an hour away and was in the area, it says they close at 10, I pull up to the speaker and wait, another car pulls up behind me, and we wait...so finally this car pulls up and says "she just put a closed sign on the door and closed", so I call..."are you closed?!", the say yes and I tell them to turn off their lights so people aren't sitting in their drive through wasting their time then. They had to see both of us pull up and could have easily told us they closed early but instead did nothing! read more

The drive through setup is horrible. There weren't many cars in line ahead of us and it still took 55 minutes for us to get to the window. Even then, we had to wait for our food. I don't know why because it had obviously been setting a while. We found a parking space on the restaurant to eat our food. The fries were cold and soggy. The chicken sandwiches were cold. One bag had a 3 written on it the other had a 10. They were both cold but the 10 was dried out completely. I sent a review with our concerns but they did not care. P.S. This was about 2:30 on a week day. No excuse. read more

On May 20, 2021, my neighbor and I went to Popeyes drive threw for a 5 Piece chicken dinner. We both had coupons and I was confused with my order and the nice lady taking our order was very patient and kind, and courteous. The lady who took our money was also very friendly. We had to wait about 2 minutes and the young man who brought us our food made sure we had everything. Great service and staff members were exceptional. Can't get an order right to save their lives. This is the second time they have given us the opposite of what we ordered. Even though the receipt says exactly what we ordered, we get something else. Asked for all dark meat, which from previous visits to other chicken places, is cheaper than white. What did they give us? White meat. We thought it would be great to have more options for dinner in Newburgh...this isn't one of them. read more

If i could give my experience a 0 i would . I went in tonight and ordered a 8pc family bundle with fries a large dr pepper and 2 apple pies with only dark meat and my order was all messed up . I got no apple pies my chicken was cold and all white meat my whole order of fries were burnt hard and just in able to eat. Called no one answered . Only thing good was they got my dr pepper very unsatisfied and was a terrible experience . read more

Well I have them another try and it took forever and wrong again. I called to tell them they forgot my sides and he asked if I was at home or on my way back. I asked if he could take my name and I could come back later and he said 'that is what I said!' Even after spending $30 I don't know if it is worth waiting for another half hour just to get my sides. read more

We got the 6 piece chicken on the first few days when they opened in Newburgh, first time in my entire life did I get a chicken without the chicken skin on, we also ordered chicken sandwiches 3 spicy and 2 regular but they gave us 3 regular and 2 spicy - what a horrible experience. Who in the world would not see that 1 chicken without the skin - that time we let it pass since they were so busy. BUT today my daughter went back thinking maybe they have improved, there was only 1 car in front of them, ordered chicken sandwiches, fries and large coleslaw. No fries and coleslaw was almost half the cup. That's too much!!! I pity the owner if they don't know what's happening in their store and the customers. You guys are ruining the reputation of Popeyes!!! read more

August 21, 2020 @ 2:30pm. This was our first and last experience with Popeye's Restaurant in Newburgh, IN. We went into the restaurant for service and could not get waited on. There was one other customer waiting for her food. The drive thru had about 7 vehicles. The server looked at me and said that she would be with me in just a moment......10 minutes later, I was still standing there and she had never looked at me again. We left there and went to Chick Fil A. Really, zero stars is what our experience deserves. read more

The worst experience I've ever had with a drive thru restaurant. We waited 29 minutes for our food, had to reorder at the window, and our order was still not correct. I was looking through the drive thru window (since I hadn't been to a Popeyes before), & could clearly see one of the workers say something about us "looking in there" and throwing her arms up. Our food was cold. The only reason I didn't go back in to correct our order or get a hot meal, was because I was worried our food would be spit on. read more

I've been waiting in line for about 45 minutes the first time I went through. There were tons of workers in the store that night so the wait time wasn't ridiculous. Once I got to order and received my food they completely forgot a whole meal. I know have to wait in line for another 20 minutes just to have my order corrected. If I could give a zero star rating I would give it to this restaurant. Sad to say I will not be coming back. read more
