I was there this evening to get dinner for my family and was truly disappointed with the service and quality of food. I understand that it's a fast food restaurant but we still have to pay high prices. As hard as it is to make our money it's disappointing when the quality of food isn't there. We love Popeyes and always enjoy their food, but this evening from the service, to the quality. The girl at the checkout seems to hate her job. No customer service skills. Not a hello not a welcome, not what can I help you with. She was right in front of me and looked dead at me and I had to start the conversation. My family meal was just a few dollars shy of $60 and when I tell you our food was cold and the sauces asked for were not the ones. The chicken tenders looked more like popcorn chicken. Ok, I'm late to the game. Yes, I've known about the Spicy Chicken Sandwich since it came out....who doesn't? BUT I never had one!!1 So today I was giving platelets at Lifestream Blood Bank and needed some food before my platelet draw. I walked in and told the manager I had never had one and to please make a fresh one for me. He told me it would take 7-8 mins but got it done in 5. OMGOOODNESSSS! It was huge, tasty, steaming fresh and so good! I have no idea why people give this location low stars except they must be ignorant people. The service was GREAT (props to that manager) and the food rocked. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had from a fast food joint period...way better than Chic-fi-a. Twice this has happened when the price on the board doesn't match the price that gets ringed up. I ordered a family meal of 12 pieces that said it was 29.99 but once we got to pay the lady said it was 38.99 which is a huge difference and mistake that's not a costumers fault. Current Review: 6/2018 3 stars due to their side dishes containers NEVER full Spent $20 on two small mashed potatoes, large fries, large Mac n cheese, large soda, and 3 biscuits! I'm not even a fan of Fries, but I have to get them when I treat myself to this place. Favorite sides are the jambalaya rice, red bean and rice, and mashed potatoes with EXTRA gravy. Sauces I'd recommend are sweet heat and blackened ranch. Their biscuits grew on me over time. KFC still has better biscuits, but these are tasty once I got accustomed to them. My only complaint here is that they never fill their side dishes to the brim like KFC. The last couple times though, it's even more annoying as they seem to really skimp out on the large side. Photo shows the large mac'n cheese I opened first once I got home. I'm used to the small sides not always being full, but I really didn't expect it with a large side. It was barely half full. I just left Popeyes and I normally don't leave reviews for fast food places, because they all usually have poor service. But I just wanna say the whole team who was there at 6:30pm was great. I noticed when I got home my order was wrong. An honest mistake. I don't live close so that was kinda annoying, but when I arrived back they immediately fixed it not one person had an attitude the guy who helped me was training a new team member and was telling her how they would fix the mistake they made with me. They even threw in something for my wait. Beyond that their customer service was some of the best I have ever received in a loooong time and I was all prepared to give them hell and an attitude if they gave me one lol. I ordered a 4 piece meal and pulled up, they didn't even know what I ordered after sitting what seemed forever while my daughter was hungry. they have you sit for 1 small meal, lol The outside of the building is so dirty and fading. Then when they finally came out I didn't get my drink so we just went somewhere else for the drink. I can't believe it had an A in the window. Perris, Ca is an easy A. Coming from San Diego my partner and I wanted Popeyes for lunch. We both ordered and was not satisfied with the food at all my macaroni and cheese was cold. The service was not the greatest the staff were not very enthusiastic about working and doing a proper job. My partner noticed that their food handling skills are the worst no one was wearing gloves or hairnets when handing and dealing with the food. The ambience itself was very dead and not the best. Lots of mixed results here. This review will cover my last 3 outings. Yesterday I had their very yummy fish filet sandwich (twice as large as the ones served at nearby McDonald's), but the sides with it had issues: the coleslaw container was only half full, which is recurring story, while the Mac N Cheese was way to watery and not thick and creamy as it should be. Where is the quality control? Doesn't the manager look and taste what is going out to customers? And, their speaker at the drive thru rarely works properly.....just a lot of crackling and broken words from the employee. Why isn't it repaired? On the 2 other visits: 1. Both times they failed to give me a spork to eat my food with. 2. Got small and dried out chicken breasts and wings. 3. Ordered 2 sides and only got one and when I went back to the window I was told I had to come into the lobby.....BUT, they had both doors locked and refused to come to me while i was left banging on the door for them to open it and give me my other side order.....What is wrong with these people? 4. This Popeyes location, I can't seem to get a hold of a manager or anybody in charge. They they took our money didn't give us any food. After 4 hours I had to call the police it was a $70 order.
