Horrible customer experience--definitely avoid this place. The restaurant looked closed from the parking lot. There were no cars outside, and the parking lot was in poor condition, which should have been our sign to keep driving. I ordered and paid for a spicy chicken combo, only to be told afterward that it would take about 15 minutes because they don't keep spicy chicken ready and only make it when someone orders it. The employee bagging orders was dressed very unprofessionally, with their pants sagging and underwear visible, and was also extremely rude. While we waited in the dining room, several employees were on their phones, yelling, and being loud and obnoxious without any concern for the customers. The food was okay, but the customer service and overall atmosphere were horrible. We do not recommend. If management would like to know the date and time we were there. August 2 at 5 PM. read more

The food was fresh and great quality. But the customer service was AWFUL. The lady at the register was as unfriendly as she could be. She was on her phone texting while multiple customers were waiting for help. I assumed she needed to send a quick text so I waited a few mins but she just continued to be on her phone while we were waiting to request sauce. While we were eating she decided to mop the entire lobby floor (during lunch time with customers all around) starting from the bathroom/main door area. She yelled at my husband going to get a drink refill. We were trying not to upset her anymore and stay at our table even after we finished eating but then my toddler needed to use the restroom so we were forced to walk on the wet floor and she went off behind the counter to the other employees so loud that the entire restaurant could hear. Ordered a family meal with 2 large sides and she did not even ask what I wanted for the sides. If I could rate this in negative stars I would. The employees are completely unprofessional and rude. Me and my family ordered 3 orders of spicy tenders (did not receive the spicy tenders). I'll start this by saying I LOVE POPEYES. The drive through service was slow, but the worker was apologetic so I didn't mind waiting a bit longer than usual. BUT They put a single chicken strip on the sandwich! I've had the sandwich before to know that they just substituted the sandwich chicken for a literal chicken strip. They also forgot the sauces we requested for chicken strips. Whoa! Stay far far away from this rat hole. So, traveling on vacation with our family We had Popeyes for the first time in Alabama. It was so good we couldn't wait to try it again on the way home! Enter this shrine to all that is wrong with fast food. I walk into the mens room and am met with the gross floors and peeling paint others have described. The urinal was a little high on the water line for my liking but I used it anyway. Upon flushing, everything gushed out all over the floor at my feet. Pee everywhere. 4 y/o rainbow pees into a toilet as to avoid the feces laced toilet vs urine volcano decision. We wait for the girls in the "restaurant" and I glance around at the filth and am immediately drawn to the soda machine encased in a decade worth of dried syrup. I think to myself "I can do this". The girls walk out and one look from my wife was all it took , we were headed for the exit. We got in the car, me 100% certain that whatever she told me would be topped by my experience. As she began to describe the scene, I believe the women may have suffered more. At least men don't expect a toilet seat. I immediately pull up Yelp to realize two other victims could have saved us. The place is a dive on the outside but I was traveling and had to stop. The inside looked equally in disrepair, plus the place was absolutely filthy. The soda bar was a sticky mess, so I didn't get a beverage. I tried to be friendly and the girl behind the counter was nice enough, but she never looked at me. Someone coughed while preparing my meal, but their backs were all three toward me so I couldn't tell who it was since no one ducked their face away from the food! I was not offered any sauce, but later noticed on the receipt that the girl rang in "no sauce." The chicken was totally without heat, and that means it was not kept at a food-safe temp. I tossed the whole thing in the trash without tasting the beans and rice. They need to close down this dive. And they seriously owe me $6.47! read more

The interior store is dirty and run down, the worker cooking in the back had NO mask on and every single other staff person didn't have their mask on correctly. If you are serving food and want to keep a business open customers need to see that everything is being done to not only keep the staff members safe but in turn - keep the public safe. Excellent fast food experience. Order completed within minutes; only may have to wait for something to cook (even fast food needs patience sometimes). Meals were hot, fresh and what someone would normally expect. Unrelated to business itself, but it is in an optimal location for convenience. Went thru the drive thru and should have known something was wrong when it took us 10 minutes to get out order. 24 minutes later, tired of waiting in the parking area, I go inside. The manager lady apologized but still had three minutes to go before our order was ready. She offered some spicy tenders as an alternative and we took it and left. Will NEVAH GO BACK! My experience was actually the opposite of most of the others I read. We did almost miss it because the location was not very well lit but that aside, the food was good and service was on point. We ordered 2 3 pc meals dark, which they did say would take 10 mins to cook. That didn't bother me because it was right around closing time so I can understand that they didn't have any extra chicken lying around and I didn't mind waiting a few mins for some hot crispy goodness. While we waited we saw the employees cleaning and sweeping and the inside was clean from what I could see although I didn't visit the restrooms so I can't speak on those. The bathrooms were filthy, with most of the stalls lacking toilet paper, toilets that barely flushed, and trash on the floor. It took 20 minutes to order, another 20 to get food. The staff were either not paying attention to customers at all, or picking and choosing who they were going to help rather than going in order. After all that, the chicken was slimy, the fries were cold, and everything either tasted completely bland or as if someone accidentally poured entire cases of seasonings into it making it inedible. read more
