I see people leaving the line all the time. They recently renovated and upgraded to the self order computerized menus. Technology is great and sure we are moving forward in the future. I only really go to this McDonald's when I go to visit my brother who lives not far from this mall. I can remember the last time I was here that I was fairly livid because of the disorganization at this particular restaurant. To start off they have 3 cash tills and they were both signed off. Both of them. Really how are customers supposed to order? The counter is tiny and it's crowded because of everybody waiting in this tiny congested area. I had ordered and this particular store while I've seen this practice at other McD's locations is not right but at the same time they completely fail at it. What I'm talking about is ordered are timed. By the time an order is placed if you look at the board your order should appear there. On their screens there are the ordered displayed and time runs as long as the orders are not fulfilled. I find this locations and others "fudge" this process. They close off the order before it's actually complete so their "TIMES" appear better. They end up closing the order and give you your food. Where THIS particular location completely fails is that they do this AND they forget orders. The last time I was there I was upset because they closed off my order and forgot what I had. I had to show them my receipt because behind the counter it was complete chaos and confusion. Coffees were put on the order counter (marked 0 through 9) so they can match up with who ordered what but when you clear the orders from the screen to make it look like your restaurant is not as incompetently as slow as they are in reality, things implode when they actually don't fulfill those orders and leave customers hanging in the crowded queue in what I like to call the lobby of dissatisfaction to eventually be fed up and go back to them demanding what the hey they are doing...??? IMO this practice of closing off orders to get the RED orders off their order queue screens has to stop. If your numbers are bad because you're too slow your numbers need to reflect how bad you're actually doing as opposed to gaming the system to look like you're doing a better job than you actually are doing. This latest visit wasn't as bad but still this place made me not forget how they did things last time and I see egregious fudging of their order times again I'll consider reporting it to corporate or whatever level is above the store because forgetting what was ordered in order to cover up ineptitude and mismanagement is not acceptable regardless of where ever you go.

I rememebr that I wanted to give this Osmow's location a try since it is just down the street from me. First time I tried it and was disappointed that I only got the medium portion, because I was thinking maybe I am going to leave some for later into the evening and it was the beef on the rocks (beef smothered in their white sauce and fluffy rice). Tonight (Sat, May 30) I came and order 2x large portion of chicken on the rocks, similar to beef on the rocks but with chicken instead. The staff members there are really friendly and nice, the owner enjoyed me being a patron that she invited me back as the other Osmow's location I've been to wasn't quite as nice both food and staff members (attitude). The interior decor and the menu/signage is really nice and easy on the eyes to order. They have a google review where you give them a great review you get a free can of soda or water. Mind you, the review I am giving is not bias and just based on my 2nd time at this establishment. Will definitely come back to dine in once the covid19 pandemic is lifted.

They do the patties on the grill when they are ordered so it's always fresh and not in a warming area. They're done on a flat top so there isn't as much of "flame" flavour but the grilled part does add to it. The meat they use is a pretty decent quality too - it actually tastes like beef! If you haven't been here before, you can customize your toppings. They have some high quality ones that are included in the price like grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. One other fun thing is that they have peanuts that you can help yourself to while you're waiting for your order. At this location they were located on the counter in a box. There are little trays where you can scoop them up. The fries are really a knockout. They are fresh cut daily and they even highlight where the potatoes are from. The locations in Canada source their potatoes from home. They have a signboard that highlights where the potatoes come from and can change on a daily basis. During my trip I saw that they were from PEI. If you're getting this to go, you will notice that the bag eventually gets soaked through in grease. It's definitely worth it every once in a while!

I felt that getting a drink here was in order. This eatery has a drive-thru with two lanes that converge before you get to the payment window. At the one lane closest to the building, I got a friendly female voice. I let her know that I was collecting points by rattling off the code from my McDonald's app. I then ordered a large Diet Coke. I have the app set to pay for such orders with my default credit card. Done! At the pickup window, I got my drink with a straw. I thanked her and left. It's was great drinking my cold, crispy Diet Coke as I took backroads home. It hit the spot and quenched my thirst. It was great discovering this McDonald's. I'd return when I'm in this area again. I was told they didn't have the order register in there system, I could just order it now. So I did. Today I found out they billed me for both orders. The saga continues.
