Update: Came here on Thursday May 1, and ordered two Thursday 3 piece specials with a side of onion rings. Got my order, drove home to discover I was given chicken tender combo meal. Spent another 10 minutes driving back out. I was quite angry, but spoke with a really nice Asian (Kim I believe) at the cashier, which apologized for the mistake and quickly rectified it. While I understand that they were quite busy, and also I am not expecting white glove waiter service, I just want what I ordered. Which I did in the end, but the person handling the packing of the orders really should have kept all the receipts along with the order. Or taped the order to the bag to keep track. I noticed he would pack all the chicken orders up then start throwing them into bags. I even asked was this order #XYZ, which he said yes, but apparently not! I generally have a good experience here, I just hope they teach any of their new staff to include the order number WITH the order, and to not just pack it and throw away the receipt

Came to get take out. This is the one of the Popeyes that have taken extra precaution and safety measure due to covid19. The staff wears mask and gloves while working, and they have the plastic boards to separate customers and staff when ordering. Just feels safer as a customer to know the owner of this place cares. I have been to the other location ok Woodbine and Highway7 and was not like this. Food is also better at this location, not as salty as the other location. Great customer service! I have been coming every week to support their business!

Always a debate when it comes down to chicken. This time I won and picked Popeyes. Love their fried chicken quite juicy. This place was clean and the staff were friendly.

Reason for Visit: Looking for somewhere to eat on a Thursday late night after a movie. Menu: Honestly, I find the prices way too high for Popeyes except Tues/Thursday with their special. Their Thursday special is my favourite with 3 pieces (leg, thigh, wing) for $5.49 I believe. It is kind of weird how the wings in this combo comes with the drumstick portion but the wings special on sats don't. This is why I only consider Popeye's on Tues/Thurs. The quality at this location was very fresh and crispy! That is probably due to the large traffic in this location so they have to keep making it fresh even during later hours ~8pm-10pm. I do want to add that it is worth doing their survey at the end so you can quickly add on 1 piece, biscuit with purchase of a medium drink (~$2). Well worth it. Another pro tip is ask for take out, you always get more if you ask for take out as they put it in the boxes which are way bigger than the dine in trays/bags. Service: Nothing spectacular. Fast food restaurant quality service. Pretty much fight for your own supplies/sauces. Atmosphere: It is actually pretty chilly in the store. I don't know why they barely turn on the heat. It can also just be due to people non stop going in and out. Overall: Wish there were more promotions and deals. Prices increasing every year...

Great customer service at this location. Very quick and attentive. Line ups move fast during the lunch hour. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich combo with the red bean and rice combo. I must say one of the best chicken breast sandwiches I've had in a long time. Quality of food is excellent. I do recommend this fast food restaurant if you are in the area.

There was no table service they just called my number regularly a little bit annoying why offer it if it's not an option. I ordered a hash brown classic McDonald's choice it was hot it was fresh and tasted just as good as I remembered it! I also tried there everything bagel and it was soft and the bagel itself had a strong flavor I didn't actually taste onion and the bagel and they didn't put too much cream cheese overall I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 I would come back for it. I also tried their new cold brew and I decided to try the sugar-free vanilla I would not recommend for the sugar-free syrup is too overpowering and it has a very strong aftertaste and that's pretty much all you taste I can't taste the coffee I can't taste vanilla I can't taste cream all I taste is the aftertaste of this syrup. I also noticed that the pricing of all the items at McCafe are very competitive with Tim Hortons I wish the coffee tasted better cuz then I would definitely get my information here, but maybe I just have to try it different syrup

This McDonald's is in the same plaza as Mamma's Pizza. There's lots of parking in front of the restaurant. I had placed my order through the app and got the following: - Poutine - McDouble I went through the drive-thru to pick up my order. The drive-thru is between two buildings, with a roof to keep your car dry when it's snowing or raining. I approached the speaker. The guy with a young voice on the other end started the conversation. I stated my code. One word from him: What? Okay, either you are too young to have lost your hearing unless you listen to music at full blast with headphones, or you need to polish up on your customer service skills. How about, "I didn't catch that code. Can you please repeat it?" So, I bluntly restated my code, even using the international / NATO phonetic alphabet for the first two letters. If you are going to be a pill about things, I don't mind wasting your time to clearly get my code to you. He got it. I headed over to the window to pick up my food. I thanked the woman who gave me my bag of food and headed home. During the pandemic, McD's decided to remove poutine from the menu. Since it has returned, I crave it. It was yummy. It had lots of gravy. The cheese curds were too melted to figure out if they were actually cheese curds or melted mozzarella. The fries were yummy. I got a wooden fork for my poutine. It was my first time using one. It worked well. I had my McDouble next. It was yummy. If you want a double patty and a cheeseburger as a light snack, it's a good option. Other than the man with his one-word response to not catching my code, I had a good experience here. (387)

Always accurate and timely, though they can get really busy on weekends. Jollibee is a bit expensive for fast food chicken, but their fried pieces are sizeable. Also, it's just dark meat so that is a plus if you dislike dry fried chicken breast. Gravy is flavourful and their peach mango pie is always yummy too. What I appreciate is that their spicy chicken is actually spicy! When they had the Korean BBQ limited sauce that was awesome too. Kinda sad they didn't keep that menu. There are quite a few seats for dining in. As they are so busy, the dining area is not that clean. I don't think that tables have much chance to be wiped down. You'll have to make do...

Tip: Earn Jollibee rewards with every purchase…read more I have a mini goal to visit every Jollibee in the greater Toronto area. I have known about this Jollibee location at Promenade Mall for a while. I finally got around to visiting it on Monday after work, which completed my visiting Jollibee locations in the suburbs of Toronto. I like this Jollibee. It's by mall entrance 2. You have access to this eatery from the mall or through its own entrance when the mall is closed. Most Jollibee restaurants have washrooms with a numeric code that you need to use to unlock it. This one does not have this code, which is nice to not bug staff for the special code. I used the washroom before I left. It was decent. You press a button to lock the door and press the larger button to unlock it. I spent a bit of time at the mall. I worked up an appetite and headed over to Jollibee for a bite to eat. It's across from Firehouse Subs, which I'd like to visit someday. I walked through the mall entrance to get here. The downside to looking at the menu is that there's so much that I want. My usual is often not listed right off the bat. I have to wait for the screen to change to see it. I got a nice man at the counter who greeted me and took my order: - Two-piece burger steak - Adobo rice - Peach mango pie - Pineapple quencher I got my Jollibee rewards QR code scanned. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped, but didn't see that the credit card had prompted me for my PIN. It was incredibly random! I got my pineapple quencher. I love this drink so much. It is sweet. I'm glad that I don't have it regularly, so it ends up being a treat. The pineapple is so good. It's also icy cold. I got a buzzer to let me know when my food would be ready. I found a table and sat there, sipping my drink and people-watching. My order was number 19. The buzzer had 19 on in. It buzzed and lit up like I had won the lottery. It was kind of true. I was fetching my winnings in the form of dinner. I thanked another man at the counter who had my order nicely presented on a tray. I then headed back to my table to eat. I find the two-piece burger steak to be comforting. It's so good with sliced mushrooms and gravy. Adobo rice was new, so I went for it. It was flavourful. I hope it stays on the menu, as it's a fancy step up from the plain steamed rice! I mixed the adobo rice with the mushroom gravy. It was fantastic! I capped my meal off with a peach mango pie. It was excellent. There was plenty of fruit filling. The pie was crispy and hot. Yum! Before I left, I filled my empty cup with Diet Pepsi. I still don't know if I should be doing this fill-up, but I run out of pineapple quencher quickly that I genuinely need another drink. Maybe I need to suggest a larger quencher cup size, but I'd be on a massive sugar high than I already have with the current cup size. I'm glad that I can finally say that I've been here. Staff were helpful and great. The food and drink were yummy. I'll be back soon. (224)

FOOD Vermicelli with Chicken Steak ($9.99 including drink): The chicken was OK - a little hard, but edible. The noodles fine, with some frozen mixed veg (i.e. corn, carrots and peas) and soup was lacking in flavour, which is good in that it wasn't salty, but...still lacking in flavour. Would I do it again? Definitely looking elsewhere on the menu - thank goodness the afternoon tea pricing made it affordable! === 3. SERVICE Service was good for a fast sit-down place, by Chinese restaurant standards. And it was good in Cantonese at least; English was a little more challenging. === 4. ENVIRONMENT There's an upper section and lower section in decor from the late 90's or early 2000's. It's OK, but you're likely going to keep your group to 6 or less based on table sizes. Those with wheelchairs and baby strollers will likely need to stay closer to the entrance. Parking is plentiful in the shopping complex lot.

It took two people fifteen minutes to make it. - Communication to the customer on how long it would take for my order to be ready wasn't stellar. On Wednesday night, after driving home from Mississauga, I felt like a milkshake. Where should I get one? I remembered that the Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shake location in Scarborough that I had visited months ago offered milkshakes. I also remembered this Boardwalk location in Markham. It used to be South St. Burger. Markham used to have two locations. It now has zero, which is a downer. I came here at nearly 9 pm. There were lots of parking spots. I pulled into one and entered the store. The Boardwalk is a combo store with Lava Grill. There is one entrance for both eateries. I walked in. There was a couple enjoying a meal. I was the only person at the order area, which is shared between the two eateries. It took a while for the man at Boardwalk to come over. He was making burgers. I ordered these items: - Strawberry shake without whipped cream - Dubai chocolate brownie I paid with a credit card. Done. Communication is an issue here. This man continued making burgers and fries. He didn't let me know how long it would take to make my order. I wasn't in a rush, but I didn't know that it would take fifteen minutes for two folks to try and make my milkshake. I did like that the press for the burgers automatically came down on the patties and had a timer. I also watched fries go into hot oil and the basket automatically come up once the fries were done. It was also on a timer. I noticed that burger man got Lava guy to make my shake. They both went into the back. Burger man came back to assemble the burgers. Lava guy was still in the back. My guess was that there was some issue making my shake. Again, I got no communication until Lava guy came out to look at my order and told me it would be two minutes. Um, sure. I didn't believe it. I was right. I decided to sit down. Burger guy had finished making the burgers. He went outside. He came back in. His first communication to me was two fingers up in the area. Two minutes or victory?! Five minutes later, I saw a shake come out from the back. Lava guy was holding it. Lava guy took a box with a brownie and packed it in a paper bag. I got a napkin, a fork, and a spoon. He handed me a pretty strawberry shake and my paper bag. I thanked both guys, more relieved than anything, and left. I got into my car and drove home. Despite the wait and the lack of decent communication, the two items that I had were excellent. The strawberry milkshake was yummy. I loved the strawberry flavour. It was creamy and enjoyable. I had the Dubai chocolate brownie yesterday. It was so good. I loved the crispy bits with pistachio cream and a delectable, moist brownie layer. Yum! I'm thinking that ordering online and coming here to pick up my order would be best. This place seems to take its time because it seems to be on its own time. Boardwalk has happy hour deals at night. I may give it a try next time. Here's hoping that communication is better. (190)

Our go-to order is the quintuple (5 lbs of wings; 3 flavours). We usually get 2 lbs of nero's epilogue, 2 lbs of cleopatra, 1lb of pandora's box and some beers. I think All Stars might've been the first chain wing franchise in toronto (even before Wild Wings but don't quote me on that). If you get breaded wings they always come out nice and crispy. The meat is pretty good (you'll get a dry one every so often) and there's a decent amount of sauce in most baskets (sometimes the chef has an off night and doesn't put enough sauce but he's pretty consistent). The wings aren't the biggest but they're decently sized. Is it the best wings I've had in toronto? Nope. That title would belong to King of Wings in Stouffville or the now defunct Fanzone Wings & Ribs in Scarborough. Both which have the biggest, meatiest, juiciest, crispiest wings I've ever had. But All Stars is always solid. As a chain, I much prefer them over Wild Wings tbh. The service can vary greatly lol. Each month, my friend and I get a different waitress and we've gotten some bad ones to some really good ones. It does seem like staff turnover is really high (either that or they just work the randomest, jumbled shifts) but anyways, the wings are good, the value is still there so for that a very solid 4 stars.

THAT is how good their takeout was for me. -[ALL STARS CHICKEN TENDER COMBO] $25.45 I got the flavor of Prime Time (Chipotle, Homicide, Ranch, Black Pepper) for the first time, and I'd honestly order it again. I did think it would actually be spicy given that the word "homicide" was in its flavor profile but I honestly found it to be sour more than spicy. I also upgraded the plain fries to Cleopatra Fries (Creamy Garlic and Honey Garlic Sauce w/parmesan cheese) which I always highly recommend -[BITES COMBO] $24.70 I got my usual flavor of Caesar Does Texas (Chipotle Base, Creamy Garlic, Parmesan), and I do have to say, the bites are much more tender, and moist compared to the tenders. I will likely opt for bites over tenders for future orders. I also upgraded the fries here to Loaded Fries (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Bacon Bits, Gravy) aka poutine with bacon bits. Pretty darn good too if I do say so myself Overall, totally worth ordering again!
