Popeyes Chicken Sandwich is easily the best on the market. The Quakertown staff is accurate and friendly. I recommend this Popeyes.

Do not park in the lot next to the building because it is for the US Postal Service and your vehicle will be towed. There is a parking garage around the corner on the corner of Walnut and Chestnut Streets. The cost is 25 cents for every 15 minutes. We ordered an Old-Fashioned with Woodford and a Blueberry Shaker. The Blueberry Shaker was only 3 dollars more than the regular drink and it yielded a total of 4 drinks for my partner. The drinks were good. For our meals we had the Steak and Shrimp Bourbon, Bourbon Street Burger, and a side Caesar Salad. Everything tasted very good. The decor is New Orleans Style although not completely authentic. There is a beer garden for those who want a less formal atmosphere. The hostess was incredibly good at her job. She was very friendly and engaging. We really enjoyed her service. First, my girlfriend and I arrived to the restaurant. We requested a specific table, and the host was gracious enough to do so. We then waited 8 minutes before our table was even touched, and it was just our (server? No intro, nothing) ASKING us if we'd like water. We say yes, and then waited an additional 5 minutes just to receive water in PLASTIC cups. Again, this person never told us his name, and we weren't even sure if he was taking our order or not. He appeared to be about 18, and was most certainly high Then, we requested glasses, and since it had been 15+ minutes since we sat down, said we were ready to order when we got the glasses. The guy took our order. We both got cocktails, which also took about 10 minutes. Finally, our appetizer came. We weren't even halfway through before the entrees came, we probably had about 10 minutes to finish it. This all could have been negated if our order was taken correctly, and things could have been staggered correctly. The "two bite" check occurred within 30 seconds of our food being dropped, and by then I hadn't even touched my food. It was way too early and felt like he was just trying to get it out of the way. At that point both my girlfriend and I were just ready to eat and we said everything was fine. I had to ask the guy for a bag on the way out, rather than him giving me one after our food was put into 3 boxes. I want to be empathetic of whatever was going on at The Social that Sunday. Yet, if you are going to make your steak $42, the service needs to justify that price. I will not be going back to The Social, and encourage their management to speak to their server who flubbed the ENTIRETY of my experience there. Myself and my girlfriend both work in the service / restaurant industry, and we know what good service is. We also understand that there are bad days. This was just abysmal. 4/10.

On our way home after skiing, the fam decided to stop in for breakfast. Good thing we arrived a little bit before 11:00 a.m., because Within 20 minutes of us being seated, there was already a 20 min wait outside for a table! I like the Ambiance of the inside restaurant, fireplace with a cauldron right by the entrance is a nice touch. That being said, the restaurant is really toasty! I had heard about Cracker Barrel for years, and this visit did not disappoint. Two in our ordered the steak and eggs. One steak was overdone more than medium rare, but the other one was cooked perfectly medium rare. Guess due to the volume they can't manage it perfectly. My sunny side up eggs for my sandwich was a little undercooked, as the egg white was still clear and runny. Seems like things that were cooked in butter, possibly overcast iron or baked, we're cooked perfectly, as our pancakes and biscuits were both cooked perfectly. No burnt edges, but toasty and delicious. They even served real maple syrup, and offered us refills on our coffees and soft drinks without even asking. Little peg game on table is signature gimmick, which kept the kiddos busy trying to figure out the puzzle. I rather enjoyed shopping while waiting for my order to come by, as I found a number of items on super sale, ranging from 25% to 70% discounted. Joined their rewards program and already earned a reward. Overall, staff were friendly (Yani was our server). Hopefully will be back if we're in the area again!

They were preparing for a family mini-reunion, a chance for everyone to catch up before Christmas Day. The chosen locations was a neutral, cozy ground an hour away: the Cracker Barrel in Fogelsville. Matthew Huey and Ashley Huey the younger generation, were coordinating their arrivals times. The plan was set for a late breakfast, a strategic choice to avoid the main Sunday rush but still enjoy the breakfast menu staples like the Country Boy Breakfast or Chicken Fried Chicken.

It took almost an hour for them to make my food (and I'm assuming other orders as my Dasher made 2 other stops and provided updates on the wait time). By the time I received my food it was in a grocery bag that was soaked inside due to condensation. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and the cheesesteak eggrolls. The eggrolls came in a proper takeout container and tasted OK, though I should've removed the bed of lettuce before saving them for later. After sitting for a while, the eggrolls absorbed the flavors of the lettuce and became bitter. It was not pleasant. The chicken sandwich came wrapped similar to what's expected from Burger King and was messy to eat, but it was better than I thought it would be. The hot honey didn't provide any heat, but the chicken was so crunchy around the edges. Last, the fries weren't great as they were placed in a paper envelope (also similar to what Burger King provides in a to-go bag) that was completely soaked. They were soft, but cooled for too long to hold any flavor. As mentioned it was an OK meal, but I wouldn't recommend it. Dining in the restaurant would likely provide a better experience.

Staff was friendly and on point from beginning to end. They do take the dress code seriously, I saw people get turned away for athletic wear. It's clear on their website and not asking too much for an upscale night out. Prices weren't ridiculous, especially since portions were plentiful. A lot of people were leaving with leftovers. The specialty drinks are a bit pricey tho. The cornbread and Mac n cheese are a must order the moment you sit down to start things off. Both served in a small skillet, perfect to share. The cornbread bread was flavorful and the butter that comes on top you def want to let that melt right in! The Mac n cheese noodles were a little softer than I would of preferred but the blend of cheeses and the crisp crust on top made me not worry about the doneness of the noodles, it was top notch! We went classic with the entrees - catfish with gulf shrimp. The catfish was cooked perfect super tender and flaky. I wasn't thrilled with the shrimp, for "gulf shrimp" as they listed in the menu they were a lot Smaller than I expected and a little tough. The sauce they came in was nice. I would have liked some kind of sauce on the side for the catfish. The collard green rice was delicious and the broccoli that came with it was prob the most delicious broccoli I've ever had, just cooked well in lots of butter! The other entree we got was the fried chicken. Really delicious and tender. It came with a sweet potato side that was yummy and a classic collard greens Even tho we were stuffed we had to try the bread pudding, it was served with a Side of delicious ice cream. (It's also super-affordable -- less than $15 for both of our meals, including drinks.) The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, & a little jazzy; a piano (complete with tip jar), cozy couches, & a shelf of books say "Come hang out here." About 10 minutes after placing our order, the waitress came back & apologized for the "long wait." Within a few minutes, the chef (a wizened old Black man who lends credibility to the authenticity of the Soul Food) came out & apologized himself. A few minutes later, the waitress reappeared & offered us free chocolate cake "for the wait." Bewildered but delighted, my sister & I accepted. Arriving shortly afterward, the food would have been worth a longer "wait." I got the fish po' boy: fresh swai fish, breaded in-house with something delightfully spicy with fresh lettuce & a flavorful House Po' Boy sauce. The chips, also made in-house, are positively light (sliced quite thin) but also seasoned with spice. My sister said the fried chicken was "standard," but was impressed with the candied yams.
