I placed an online order of Lasagna Rolls, a side Caesar salad, asparagus, and the volcano shrimp appetizer. The salad had quite a bit of water in the bottom of the container. I was glad that the salad was washed but it didn't seem to be drained or dried off at all. The dressing wasn't bad but was VERY anchovy heavy... so that paired with the bitter dark green tops of whatever lettuce was used made it unpleasant and difficult to swallow. The lasagna was decent. A little dry in the center of the rolls since it was just cheese and there wasn't enough bolognese sauce to even out the dryness of the rolled noodle and cheese. The volcano shrimp was great. Crispy exterior, good amount and flavor of sauce, and you get a good amount of them. The asparagus however? I paid $6 for THREE asparagus... they were the size of thick expo markers... which might make it sound like an okay price but they were soft and mushy at the top and woody at the bottom... and they were bitter. The best thing I had? It was the 2" section of crusty baguette and the shrimp. The service was good though. Majestic Pizza was an ok place to eat especially since the areas restaurant choices are few. They do have a salad bar and a hot bar. The salad bar had the usual salad and toppings. The hot bar had mashed potatoes, gravy, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, boiled cabbage, corn, carrots and sliced pizza. You can also order from the menu. I chose the hot bar and salad bar. The fried chicken was dry, but the carrots and chicken and dumplings tasted really good. This is your go to place if you want a variety of comfort food and a salad or pizza, you have to drive to far to find a chain restaurant that you are probably familiar with. read more

Went with a group of people passing thru town. Customer service was excellent. They were very thorough in answering any questions we had, orders were prompt, & drinks were always filled. It was a nice country style buffet, but the kids were disappointed that there wasn't any pizza on the buffet, it was mostly adult foods. Several people in our party ordered pizzas. It was thin & bland. The lasagna was good. The toast was like breakfast toast, small & no flavor. Definitely not my idea of "Texas Toast" as stated on the menu. So recommended for families: order the buffet or a meal from the menu. Prices are reasonable. Kids: order off the kids menu. There is a variety, & kids get a drink + a desert from the desert bar, which could be one of several items, including self-serve ice cream. Place was very clean & nicely decorated. If I can give zero stars I would. The server was outrageously rude. Made me feel like my party of 12 (6 of them were kids) was a major inconvenience. Forgot my 3 year-olds food. Stacey the manager really topped off the experience by making me feel uncomfortable and was defensive about my concerns. The "chopped sirloin" is a hamburger and is raw. The hamburgers were also raw. The pizza was burnt. False advertisement on their online menu. The Fettuccine Alfredo was not enough to fill you up. There was not that much in the plate. read more

First, while it's not far away, this place is actually in Draffenville, KY, not in Benton. It's what you expect from a pizza joint: booths, open, a bit noisy, cheap. But the pizza was a bit above your normal pizza fare, and the service was good as well. If you do bring wine (remember, it's a dry county) just bear in mind that they're going to give you colored plastic Pizza Hut-esque glasses to drink it of, so you might want to bring your own glasses as well. Note that I don't mention the odd fact that this is a pizza joint AND a steakhouse. Even funnier: this place shares space with a Mexican restaurant. Somehow, getting Mexican food in Draffenville, KY or steak at a pizza joint seemed less than a good idea. read more

I had the pleasure of dining at Majestic on Thanksgiving of this year. On this one day, they serve typical Thanksgiving food buffet style and have a big salad bar. This was my first trip to Kentucky and I couldn't have been more pleased with the people and the food. We had a table reserved for 2:30, so we didn't have to wait long at all. The buffet was delicious and I was very impressed with the desserts. They were all homemade and displayed in a classy fashion. I can't speak as to their normal buffet, having never tried it, but if you're not cooking, they are your best bet for great food and service! read more

We drive half an hour to come here! The salad bar looks beautiful and the buffet is delicious! Even when we come at weird times of the day, everything still seems fresh, which is usually not the case at most restaurants. Stopped here while travelling through. When we pulled into the parking lot we saw a group of construction workers walking out, so we knew this placed had to be both good and reasonably priced. The establishment was super clean and was decorated cute. My husband and I ate off the buffet, which was really quite good. There was an awesome salad bar with a lot of options which made me happy. The vegetables on the buffet were good, not saturated in grease, and just nice. I had the chicken livers which were surprisingly good. They also had a dessert bar which was included in the price. The lime jello was awesome. All in all, we had a great experience, the waitress was nice and kept us up in sweet tea, the food was good, and the price was great. If I could select lower, I would and this is sad because I've been going to this restaurant since I was 8 yrs old and I'm 51! The food we got to go tonight was horrible. Husband got hamburger steak w/fries and they said salad bar came w/it but when he got there they said it cost $1 extra for a to-go salad bar! His meat was dried out and barely edible and his toast was too. I got a gyro sandwich and my meat was dried out. French fries weren't good either. Their salad bar has gone downhill as they no longer have any topping choices anymore. They don't offer boiled eggs, green or black olives, green bell peppers or any good toppings to put on a salad. I tried his leftover salad and the potato salad was horrible too! Now if you want to go to a GOOD Majestic Steakhouse, go to the one in Mayfield KY!! It is absolutely WONDERFUL! It owned and operated by a relative of the people who have the one in Draffenville. The Mayfield, KY Majestic puts the one in Benton to SHAME!! All the one in Benton wants anymore is to perform highway robbery on its unknowing customers! I will NOT GO BACK THERE AGAIN!! Oh ... and I forgot to mention that they redone their parking lot so that now you need a freakin shuttle bus to get to the front door of the restaurant ... really?
