This is a great experience. The food is very good for basically bar food. The staff is awesome. The pizzas are next level great. Prices are not bad considering they are on a resort and overlook the lake. They have good entertainment on Friday nights and Saturday nights. Had lunch at this delightful place. Located near the water on the lake it was a delicious dining experience. Service was as excellent as the food. I had fish and chips and my wife had a hamburger with fries. I neglected to get a picture of her plate. We had the crab cakes (balls) appetizer and cake for dessert. My wife said the chocolate cake was the best she has ever eaten. Wow! It was nice and peaceful near the water. You need to eat here if you are close. It is worth the drive. read more

The 4 in our party all ordered Pizza and we all were so hungry from a day on the lake, we didnt complain. However, our pizza were under cooked. And one of the Pizzas had whole garlic cloves on it. A substantially rough service: + Food was good + compensated food 20% for multiple delays + Frozen drinks were good + Nice outdoor area with lots of seating -Service was slow -Had 3 checks which were messed up for 8 people -Virgin Frozen Margarita was sour mix with ice cubes (not frozen), and charged full price - 3/7 people had the correct sides - food was delayed, due to "computer issue". 2/8 people received their food almost 20min after 6/8 people received already delayed food. - got delayed plastic cutlery Server new, nice, cared and apologetic. Stated they have every beer you could think of. They have no sours, and the only one IPA offered was described as some local "6 amber ale"; sadly, was an amber ale and not an IPA. Drinks on core menu were all good. Chips and salsa were good. Didn't have bacon for BLT's. Disappointing. 6 small wings for 9 dollars. Been there before. I think it used to be better. They should put the trash can farther away from where people eat. About 50 flies were all over us when our food arrived. I was flailing my arms do they would leave us alone the whole time we were eating. Such a fun and delicious place to check out if you're near here. The menu was simple but everything was excellent. Everything had great portions and came hot, all the flavors were there. I highly recommend the Pirate's Punch! The burger was nice a juicy, fries crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The pizza, cheesy, saucy with the right amount of meat underneath, my only take away was that the shrimp although big were a little dense from the batter when fried. We visited at lunch time and were so happy to sit on the lawn overlooking the water. We played corn hole (or bag toss as I've heard it called in Kentucky) while we waited for our food which was SO FUN! The food was super tasty! I got wings & oh my goodness it was delicious. So I have had my boat at Green Turtle Bay for 3 years. Not cheap I might add. Eaten here several times. Nothing special. Burgers and Pizza, and a bar. Today I was having my mast stepped and was supposed to be done at 10 didnt start till after noon. We went swimming and came to grab a pizza and the owner told the waitress not to serve us because I had no shirt at 2 in the afternoon. Am I at the Four Seasons or Waldorf? Cant get a shirt because their working on boat. Not even offered to go menu. So it apparent that this owner of a fricking over priced burger place has his head in his coolio. Not impressed. Thought we'd try this place again after posting a couple years ago & saw on FB that they were remodeling. Unfortunately they have done nothing for the customer. Their docks are still crappy which is a big negative for a restaurant on a lake. Waitress staff is nice but drink & food service is way too slow. We waited at least 10 minutes for drinks & over 45 min for lunch and the place was only a quarter full. Feel sorry for the wait staff. They need to hire more staff in kitchen & bar or the indoor staff needs to be retrained. read more

Golf group of 10 on our 20th annual autumnal golf outing. Stayed in Grand Rivers. The second night, it was rainy, so we stayed close to the rental home and came to this restaurant. There were 8 of us and we came in by the two's. Each group was met with warmth, joy, and kindness. The ambience was warm and the service was genuine and smooth. Our server kept up with the drinks, the food orders, and made sure we all had exactly what we needed. We all enjoyed our pizzas and chicken wings. The draft beers, though served in a plastic cup, were cold and fresh. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Our group came from IL, TN, and AL. read more

Can't speak to the food or drink as the service is non existent at this place. I sat for over 30 minutes with no acknowledgement of my presence. I legitimately thought maybe I had gotten in a wreck on the drive over and was now actually a ghost. Watched 2 parties leave due to not getting any service. It actually became an amusing experiment on how long I could sit there and remain Invisible, but in the end I wanted to have dinner and drinks so I went elsewhere. It's a laid back atmosphere with good drinks and "okay" food served with all disposable tableware. I had the tuna salad sandwich, it was very tasty in my opinion. The rest of the table had three different kinds of pizza, which was all declared to be "good"; chicken wings, a little dry; and chicken tenders that were overcooked and very dry. First, the chips were beyond stale, but we were hungry and they were sogged down with a sprinkling of ground beef and a minute amount of nacho cheese. For $12 I was expecting way way better. Stopped here for lunch with the family after a morning on the water. Had our dog with us, got seated outside in one of the waterfront gazebo tables. It was a hot day but the wind off the lake is nice, it's a shaded table and even has a fan blowing down. The waitress had to walk a long way to serve us, but she was great! Quick with the drinks, even brought water for our dog. All of the food was fantastic, I had the buffalo chicken wrap, others had the shrimp, fish, etc, and everyone loved their meal.
