We've gone the last 5 years. They're too expensive to go this year but we really enjoyed them while we could afford it.

This place is pretty cool. Apparently they do pumpkins in the fall but we came for a Christmas tree…read moreso I can only comment on that. First of all, it's smaller than I expected and hilly. Don't come here if you have trouble walking because it is a bit of a hike. It was very busy and we parked out by the road so we had to hike up the hill to get to where the trees were. They do have a wagon that will give you a free ride to some of the other trees and the reindeer. They only have two reindeer but I loved seeing them. They are pretty neat. The gift shop here is pretty impressive. It's not big but it's beautiful. Whoever set everything up did a fantastic job. They also have free hot chocolate and hot cider. The staff were very nice and helpful. The guy who put the tree on our car did a great job. The reason for three stars is the price of the trees as well as the fact that they didn't seem to have that many trees. Many we came on a bad day, I don't know. We were going to leave without but we wound up finding a tree on the porch outside the gift shop and since we were already there decided to buy it. However, it was eighty dollars. Ouch. I don't think we will be coming here next year.

My husband and I have gotten our Christmas tree here the last 4 years. They have options where you…read morecan cut down the type of trees they grow (they provide the saw) or pick out a tree they had brought in. We prefer the Frasier Fur, but they come from NC, so we don't get to do any sawing. You can either walk or ride the wagon to see the reindeer. Santa sometimes makes an appearance as well. Hot cider and cocoa are complimentary, and there are many Christmas decorations to peruse and contemplate purchasing while you're waiting to pay. We usually bring our dogs, but it can be quite muddy right after a rain. Tips: There is a porch and steep hill behind the building where you pay. Most people don't look there, and there's usually some pretty good trees. It gets super busy on the weekends, so don't go if you're in a rush Parking is very limited, so you may want to consider bringing a smaller vehicle that you can squeeze into a makeshift space We have so much fun here every year, and definitely plan on returning!

This is a big box store with nothing special about it. They might have what you want or they might…read morenot. You might run across someone that knows everything about hardware or whatever it is you are there for or you may talk to three people who don't know anything about their products. I bought a washer on Labor Day sale so it was a great price. Less than a year later it broke and instead of repairing it they just refunded me the price I paid for it which was about half of the price of what the machine was selling for then. I went round and round with the manager.

This review is for anyone looking to purchase a Tuff shed from this location, or any other location…read morein Alabama for that matter. We wasted 3 hours over 3 days trying to buy a 12'x16' Tuff shed from this location. The incompetence and lack of training from Home Depot Employees and False advertising from both Tuff Shed and Home Depot lead us to look elsewhere. If you are looking at spending thousands of dollars on a shed, this review is for you. we went in store on Sunday 7/19/2026 to inquire about the display model that is for sale the the Hoover, AL Home Depot Parking lot that is listed as such on the Tuff Shed website. Their site specifically sates to go to the customer service desk so they can access the "Order Now" website to complete our order. To note: ON THE SHED IN THE PARKING LOT, is SPECIFFICALLY STATES: NO DELIVER FEES, NO INSTALLATION FEES, AND NO SALES TAX. On this Sunday, the employee had no idea how to sell the shed or even find it on the Order Now site and advised us to come back on Monday morning. We both have full time jobs so could not do that, but tried to call the Home Depot Tuff shed rep multiple times throughout the day with no answer or response. We finally connected with their customer service who stated we should return to the store and go to the Pro Desk. So, today on 7/21/2026 we returned to this location and went to the Pro Desk. The initial employee also had no clue how to do complete a shed sale and called another employee to assist.... who also had no idea how to assist. So, she sat on the phone with Tuff Shed who had to walk her though the Order Now site process. When it can time for the final price, it was hundreds of dollars more than what was advertised. When we questioned that, they said that the no sales tax, fees, etc... only applies to certain States and Alabama is not one of them. When we told them that it is LITERALLY POSTED ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING IN THE PARKING LOT, no one went and checked, so I went out there and took my own pictures. They did not honor what was posted and neither did Tuff Shed who was still on the phone with them. This is the definition of FALSE ADVERTISING and is a bait and switch scam to get you in the door. DO NOT do business with either of these companies if you are in the market for a shed that will cost out thousands of your hard earned dollars, heaven forbid you had to try to file a warranty on one of these things if this is how they are upon initial purchase.
