This thing does not exist anymore, don't bother going, you'll just find a barren lot between two shops

We all four love Palm Springs and this trip, once again, did not disappoint. Downtown Palm Springs is fabulous. One great venue after another. Excellent bars and restaurants. Shops and galleries. A lot of eclectic shops line the street. What it really is about though is lounging by the pool with a delicious libation in hand. We try to make it to Palm Springs at least once per year. Who doesn't love a little weekend outing in sun city. 2 hours away from LA, down the 111 and you've enter the land of sun, palm trees, windmills and mid century modern. A quick weekend getaway with friends, a group of a love one. This place has it all. It's all about poolside, cocktails and more poolside. I don't mind coming all year as I love the weather. Regardless if it's 115 during the summer. That's what the pool and cocktails are for. There's so many hotels option to choose from. Places ranges from boutique style hotels, the major chains, budget friendly and Airbnb. Whatever is your price range, there's something for everyone. Loads of hiking available but I do recommend early in the morning as it can get hot. But during the winter, you should be ok anytime of day. Also, have you been to Palm Springs if you've never been in the tram up to the top of the mountains. That's something you should experience at least once. With views of the valley, there's hiking, dining or just a few hours there. Also, Modernism Week is happening soon which is a big deal for the city. Homes, events, galleries all participating during the once a year event. There different event throughout the year. Film festivals is also a big deal yearly. Then you have pride which usually happens around November. A weekend of fun and everyone celebrating love. Cant leave out Coachella and Stage Coach. It's not exactly in Palm Springs but neighboring city's. Regardless when you go, there's alway something. Poolside during the day, dinner in the evening and then bar hopping. Whatever's your preference, you do you. Can't leave out all the bachelorette's party happening pretty much every weekend. This is an easy quick trip that's everyone love.

I stumbled upon it due to purchasing tickets for a recent show that took place in their Disney hall room on the property. Reading up on the smoke tree ranch it's a property that has housed some legendary stars and celebrities over the years. The property consists of homes and a hotel with cottages that span the desert landscape. It appears this property is used to host private events and weddings overall. I didn't stay at the hotel/cottages but it looked very cute and off the grid in the sense that you just come to have some relaxation, hike, and to utilize their different sports facilities on site. The Disney hall was a small little venue but perfect for the event I came for. I liked that they had staff service with some small bites presented and they opened up a bar area in the lounge. Very cute area for hosting small gathering or talks. I really enjoyed this property and will keep my eyes open to see what other events may be held here in the future as the vibes were good and it was a very private, intimate setting.

The air vent in our room clicked every 20-30 minutes waking us up. Even though we were onsite for a wedding, we went and grabbed takeout for several meals because the location was not willing to accommodate dietary needs or meals for kids. Every request was made with a "there is a Ralph's down the street." !! The wedding was held outside in the heat, and it seems wild to me that coordinators wouldn't have recommended a different location on the property, moved tables to the shade, procured umbrellas, etc. I have to imagine their staff was warm as well. Overall, this is not somewhere I would return, and not what I would expect at this price point.

Not happy with our two night stay here!…read more I wondered why a beautiful hotel like this was getting such bad reviews. Upon first entering we were greeted with a friendly staff. Our check in took longer than expected. Not sure why since it should've been a quick one. The hotel and our rooms were beautiful. Very unique and well kept. The promised mini fridge that never arrived. On our first night, I was woken up abruptly from my sleep around 6AM to loud music and people talking outside our bedroom window. When I looked out our window I saw the cleaning crew was making this noise. There was no event. I called the front desk and spoke to Danielle. She said she will have them turn it down. Turn down the music? There was no event. I asked her to please have them turn OFF the music. I can't imagine I'm the only guest who could hear them. Our room, albeit beautiful, was right outside the loud HVAC unit. But I was tolerating that. Yet the constant talking, whistling and loud shuffling of plates and utensils and rolling carts still continued. Even after 20 minutes, the music and noise hadn't stopped so I called the front desk AGAIN. Eventually they turned off the music but the talking and all the other noises didn't stop. I can't imagine I was the only guest on our floor and facing the same area who wasn't affected by this. Ironically 30 minutes later they began playing the music again! You know when you wake up abruptly and develop a headache? Well that's what happened. And to think this is how my day began the day of a family wedding and I'm wondering will this happen again the next morning! And YES, it happened on our second night again! This is the night of the wedding when the evening ended at 1am and yet again, at 5:30am on Sunday morning I was woken up to the sound of music again accompanied by relentless vacuuming. This time when I called the front desk no one answered. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I don't know why they need to be playing music at this hour knowing they have guests who are sleeping. And to pay almost $500 per room per night-AND we have two rooms next to each other-this is unacceptable! I called the front desk again at 5:45 and Jose answered. I explained to him what happened two days in a row and that I don't understand why they need to be blasting music this early. He was very apologetic and told me that he will have them turn down the music and I asked him to have the manager Jose or reach out to me. That morning, I did meet Jose and although it was nice for him to credit us a "little" for the inconvenience this is definitely not a hotel I would ever return to in the future. Not worth the hassle, stress, noise or inconvenience and definitely not worth the money! I've been to many high end hotels and many in Palm Springs but I will be sure never to stay at the Parker again!

From the moment we arrived, everything was phenomenal. The meet-and-greet, photo opportunities, incredible performances, beautiful ambiance, and stunning aesthetics made for such a fun and lively atmosphere. The property itself is gorgeous, and the food was absolutely delicious. The entertainers were talented, engaging, and kept the energy high from beginning to end. It was the perfect outing for our girls' trip, and we all had an amazing time. My only concern is the drink menu. It should clearly identify all ingredients, especially when drinks contain fruit or other common allergens. I informed the wait staff that I have a food allergy, and my original drink was promptly taken away and replaced. Unfortunately, the replacement still triggered an allergic reaction, and I had to be escorted out of the drag brunch to be evaluated by medical personnel. I sincerely appreciate how compassionate, professional, and helpful the hotel staff were during the emergency. However, I hope the venue takes this as an opportunity to improve its drink menu labeling and allergy protocols because this situation could have had a much more serious outcome. Despite that unfortunate incident, the drag brunch itself was outstanding, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, entertaining, and unforgettable experience in Palm Springs.
