Places ranges from boutique style hotels, the major chains, budget friendly and Airbnb. Whatever is your price range, there's something for everyone. Loads of hiking available but I do recommend early in the morning as it can get hot. But during the winter, you should be ok anytime of day. Also, have you been to Palm Springs if you've never been in the tram up to the top of the mountains. That's something you should experience at least once. With views of the valley, there's hiking, dining or just a few hours there. Also, Modernism Week is happening soon which is a big deal for the city. Homes, events, galleries all participating during the once a year event. There different event throughout the year. Film festivals is also a big deal yearly. Then you have pride which usually happens around November. A weekend of fun and everyone celebrating love. Cant leave out Coachella and Stage Coach. It's not exactly in Palm Springs but neighboring city's. Regardless when you go, there's alway something. Poolside during the day, dinner in the evening and then bar hopping. I stumbled upon it due to purchasing tickets for a recent show that took place in their Disney hall room on the property. Reading up on the smoke tree ranch it's a property that has housed some legendary stars and celebrities over the years. The property consists of homes and a hotel with cottages that span the desert landscape. It appears this property is used to host private events and weddings overall. I didn't stay at the hotel/cottages but it looked very cute and off the grid in the sense that you just come to have some relaxation, hike, and to utilize their different sports facilities on site. The Disney hall was a small little venue but perfect for the event I came for. I liked that they had staff service with some small bites presented and they opened up a bar area in the lounge. Very cute area for hosting small gathering or talks. I really enjoyed this property and will keep my eyes open to see what other events may be held here in the future as the vibes were good and it was a very private, intimate setting.

They do advertise certain things are closed during this time of year but did not mention other things. Main lobby was closed and they shoved the welcome desk in a smaller room and the public lobby bathrooms were hotel rooms turned into restrooms. A lot of their restaurants were closed. The grounds were decent. A lot of dirt with no signs. I understand this might be the concept but it is confusing especially with such a big property and at night. We ate at the make shift Normas for breakfast. Food was alright and on the 2nd day it took an hour and half to come out. the woman manager was degrading the servers in front of customers. Sean was our server in the 2nd day. He was so nice and was horrible to see the manager treating him in such a negative way. She should be fired The adult pool was nice but quickly became crowded. I can't imagine how busy this gets during the busy season. The valet was also decent, but shouldn't take 10-15 minutes to retrieve my car in 115 degree weather. I'd be livid if I paid an arm and a leg for this place during busy season. Don't get me wrong, it was still pricey but would have been even more disappointed if I had paid 1000 a night for a room during busy season. Not worth it.

The meet-and-greet, photo opportunities, incredible performances, beautiful ambiance, and stunning aesthetics made for such a fun and lively atmosphere. The property itself is gorgeous, and the food was absolutely delicious. The entertainers were talented, engaging, and kept the energy high from beginning to end. It was the perfect outing for our girls' trip, and we all had an amazing time. My only concern is the drink menu. It should clearly identify all ingredients, especially when drinks contain fruit or other common allergens. I informed the wait staff that I have a food allergy, and my original drink was promptly taken away and replaced. Unfortunately, the replacement still triggered an allergic reaction, and I had to be escorted out of the drag brunch to be evaluated by medical personnel. I sincerely appreciate how compassionate, professional, and helpful the hotel staff were during the emergency. However, I hope the venue takes this as an opportunity to improve its drink menu labeling and allergy protocols because this situation could have had a much more serious outcome.
