    Unique flavors

Came here after the pizza at neighbors and I have to say I was mighty surprised. We had been featuring Morelia paletas in Rice Village ever since the Yelp event but this place could stand on its own and has. The ice cream flavors were very unique and all of the paletas and pops had their own unique flavor. My kid got bubble gum and it was blue and I was skeptical but it was actually quite tasty. Service is a person lot even behind the counter with a Toast machine checking you out but also scooping ice cream. Smallest space ever and there's no space to eat inside BUT the building is open if you want some coverage. Parking for the entire place is a small parking lot in the back or free street parking. Had no problems finding a spot in the lot.

Such a cute place! Service was great! The variety of popsicles are really good. You Can go fruity or a combination. I picked up 4 - one for now 3 for when i get a craving. So far, they are all delicious. I learned that the owner used to have a cart at UH and several farmer's markets!

Because I'm never too old to enjoy a popsicle. On a stroll through the second ward my cousin and I stopped by and grabbed a treat. Love the art work on the building as it stands out with all the vibrant colors. Service was great and our attendant was very helpful. The menu consists of both gelato and sorbet pops. Today I tried the blueberry mojito and I was in love. You can tell they use only fresh ingredients that you can taste in every bite. The popsicle was refreshing and if it were a much hotter day I'd definitely grab two. If popston doesn't already, please sell by the box. The community needs these delicious items in store.

I have tried Popston before when they were just selling it from their little cart at a park. I was happy when they opened their brick and mortar. Their popsicles are still delicious just like how I remember it. I got the Passion Fruit Guava Popsicle which was apparently a popular option for customers. It was dairy-free, light, refreshing, and perfect for the 100 degree Houston weather. They have gelato pops and popsicles for dogs. They also sell ice cream pints. The popsicle was delicious and I would definitely go back but I'm docking 1 star just because it was $5/popsicle and for me it was expensive but also understandable because it's gourmet popsicle in East Downtown Houston. When you arrive to the place, you can park next to the plant store. My husband and I were not able to go inside the store but they have a walk up window where you order and they have chairs outside with umbrellas if you want to stay and hang out.

This place is nestled in a busy st in second waqdi. You have to find Street parking. There's no indoor seating, only outdoor. We walked up to the order window and had to knock several times as no one was manning the front window. They should have a doorbell or something. We finally got someone's attention, had it been easier I would've given 5 stars. Staff was friendly. The strawberry cheesecake was good but the Mexican bananas foster will have me Dreaming about it until I get another. It was so creamy and deliscious with a cookie in the center and small chunks of chocolate. I will definitely return to try more flavors!

Folks are super nice. First time here and they recommended which ice cream to try. They have sorbet & gelato. So I got the Rodeo Clown (sorbet: strawberry, lemon, mango, pineapple, guanavana (?) and the berry cheesecake gelato pop. They were delicious and not as sweet as I thought. So soft and just the perfect size.

I love these popsicles. They even have a pupsicles for your doggo. They have so many options for so many type of diets, from gelato pops to dairy free sorbet pops, there is something for nearly everyone. They also have gelato and pops to go, so you can enjoy the pops again or later!

This delicious place never disappoints. I found them on instagram, visited their location and immediately fell in love. I have taken in-town AND out-of-town friends to this location. Just today I took my work buddies. The people are incredibly friendly. The treats are so fresh and always hit the spot. The locations is easy to get to by car or train and of course walking. Parking is easy and FREE. Highly recommend and obviously will be back.

Popston is the place to go to beat the Houston heat! Treat yourself to dairy-free or dairy rich. The flavors are what they say they are. You can go back every day and never run out of goodness to try! Service is quick and friendly! There are plenty of umbrella-covered tables on the patio next to the stand. This place does Second ward proud!

The sorbet one was also very clean and refreshing with various tropical fruit flavors embedded in the popsicle.

Coco's is located in Midtown downtown Houston. Consequently, Yelpers should not be surprised the…read moreparking is mostly in paid lots, just like in every major city in the US--Cocos does not deserve to lose a star for this as in some reviews that brought down their average. You may order online, in shop through a tablet, or with a person at the register. We used the register because we did not see the tablet and did not want to order ahead online. The ladies who helped us on our visit were very nice. You get a number and they call it when your made to order food is ready. We did not have to wait long. There was medium to low noisy ambiance. It was deserted when we arrived, but they have relatively loud background music. While we were eating it got pretty crowded. Mostly a lot of young people in the middle of the day on a Monday. The inside is small, seating both inside and outside are limited and close together. One lady was studying with her laptop, but there are no plugs. The breakfast sandwich is customizable. We got it on a croissant and with sausage. The eggs had a unique texture and the sandwich a unique flavor that we could not place, but both were very tasty. We also wanted a crepe, but we split the sandwich and it was sufficient. We also got a small mocha and a decaf, both were ok to good. We would definitely come back again and recommend that you give them a try for a crepe or sandwich. It is sad that a few Yelpers brought down their average to 3.8 stars due to petty and unjustified complaints such as having to pay for parking downtown. Other complaints are not the business' fault such as periodic homelessness--it is a downtown area in the US, other cities have far worse homelessness than Midtown Houston and we saw none on this visit. Additionally, complaints about takeout orders are mostly petty. Takeout is never as good as eating at the restaurant and so customers should adjust their expectations rather than dock the business stars. Nearly every recent Yelp review for this who ate at the restaurant gave 4-5 stars for food quality and customer service. Like most of the restaurants in this area it is a pretentious yuppy style place with specialized food. Although not usually our type of place (we like down to earth hole in the wall places with good food or taco truck type restaurants), Coco's is a solid 4 star restaurant for the type of place they are and they offered a 5 star experience on our visit. Again, recommend you give them a try if you are in the mood for crepes or sandwiches.
