I love that they offer different ice cream cone flavors (matcha, brown sugar, red velvet, etc) in addition to their unique ice cream flavors. There is a lot to choose from and they allow samples until you've decided on the flavor you want to purchase.
Flower & Cream has to be my favorite ice cream shop in Houston! No matter the time of day, the ice cream is always fresh and the waffle cones flavors are to die for! If you are unsure of which one to try, no worries, you can sample them all. The ice cream didn't make it out of the ice cream shop because I had to sit down and finish my cone. I will be here all summer!

The decor works so well, and makes it feel upscale and inviting The menu offers a variety of flavors to choose from. You can also choose from a variety of cones (colors). When you walk in you are often met with the intoxicating aroma of the handmade waffle cones being prepared Some tips: The Kahlua & Cookies is my favorite flavor. You have to be 21st or older to order because it's made with Kahlau liquor. I usually stop by and bring a pint home. Online you should create a profile and input your birthday to receive a $5 off birthday code each year to celebrate Cheers!!
The selection was not great. The ice cream also not great. I regretted getting a red velvet cone. At this point, I'm convinced red velvet is nothing more than just red dye. There's no sweetness or appealing flavor to it. They need to just call things red dye and stop calling it Red Velvet because there's nothing velvety about it. I got a red velvet cone and I forgot the flavor of ice cream but I ended up not finishing it because I didn't like it ultimately. It's crazy that all these niche ice cream shops don't taste better than a mass Franchise ice cream shop like cold stone, which I compare all ice cream places to. Skip this one.
Flower + Cream is a small batch, artisan ice cream shop in Houston. They have a variety of interesting housemade flavors and gluten-free cones, as well. I had the toffee coffee cake and their holiday flavor--peppermint bark. The peppermint bark was my absolute favorite mint/peppermint flavored ice cream! It was creamy with chunks of peppermint candy and was not overwhelmingly artificially minty. The toffee coffee cake was rich and creamy, as well. There are lots of gluten-free cone flavors, but I just got the regular waffle cone, which was crispy. Staff were friendly. There was a lot of parking when we went, but we walked there after dining at Hu's down the street! Overall, they have lots of different flavors, and I cannot wait to try for my next visits. I would definitely come back for a peppermint bark during the holidays!
Great place for some unique ice cream! I loooved the raspberry tres leches flavor - so yummy and they have decent sized cake bits mixed in. I was splitting with someone who really like the Kahlua & Cookies - I personally didn't care for it, but they liked it so to each their own. I wanted to try many more flavors here, so I'll have to come back! It looks like they occasionally rotate flavors too. Decent sized scoops for what you pay! This location has some seating inside and a free parking lot, as it's part of a shopping plaza.
Love the ice cream here. Seriously you can just tell it's of quality. It's also so freaking cute inside. Service is pretty good/polite. Place is super clean. No complaints. Love that they offer a variety of different types of cones. I got a matcha waffle cone and immediately fell in love. I definitely endorse to anyone needing a sweet treat.
The flavours are rich and creamy. I personally found them to be a bit too sweet than what you expect, but they are dense flavours. The ambiance and service is really nice, I would visit again and maybe find a flavour that works for me... perhaps mango?
Juneteenth inspire me to try a few flavors that I wouldn't have tried otherwise...the red (or reddish ones)! But since they do not...yet...I grabbed a red velvet cone with roasted strawberry and raspberry tres leches ice cream half scoops and hot fudge (plus I tried the kaluah and cookies...after which I proceeded to buy a pint). Anyways, as a chocoholic, I would have never ordered any of these flavors on a general trip, but they were equally delicious! Hot fudge on a cone is a must! The folks behind the counter were kind each visit, and the store itself is small, but mighty. I wish they displayed the non-vegan flavors...for me that's part of the appeal, but overall, my experience here was great. I certainly will be back for a few more scoops of flavors I wouldn't normally order!
I found the Butter Pecan the GenX fav flavorful, but the consistency was too loose like it hadn't set enough. I also tasted the milk/cream flavor more than the butter pecan flavor of the ice cream. The freshly made waffle cones is a nice touch if they didn't have "sell these first" clearly showing they were not the freshest batch of cones and I could taste the diff. I'm sure the ingredients are worth the premium, but the flavor was just ok for me.

We tried some interesting flavors abs got a cute pic! The cones come in all kinds of colors and flavors so that's fun! There is no seating directly at this location so you do have to enjoy the outdoor space across the street. Girls that work there are friendly!
I am obsessed with this place! Hands down this is one of the top 3 ice cream places in the Houston area. The shop is aesthetically pleasing, bright, warm and welcoming. There are a few swings (adult size) to enjoy as well as numerous tables for seating. My favorite thing are the cone options. From in house fresh made waffle cones to the multiple colors and flavored options. The ice cream is smooth and creamy perfect texture. So many great flavors to choose from. I would recommend raspberry tres leches, kahlua & cookies, biscoff cookie butter and pistachio baklava.

My favorite ice cream shop, hands down. I've been coming here regularly for years, and it's always a great experience. My go-to order is a half scoop of Nutella Banana and Biscoff Cookie Butter. I appreciate the little details, like the reusable tasting spoons, wooden spoons for your order, and the fun magnets. The staff is always friendly, professional, and helpful, and the shop is consistently clean. They even provide water for customers, which is a nice touch. Flower & Cream never disappoints! read more

First time here. Place is nice and clean, plenty of seating area. We came in Saturday afternoon and no one was there. It is a cashless place so only card. Menu is simple but definitely an option for everyone. The ice cream was smooth and delicious not too sweet which is a plus for me. read more

Flower & Cream is a fantastic option for quick, easy, and tasty dessert at POST Houston with options to satisfy everyone including those of us with dietary restrictions (aka. they have Vegan options that actually taste amazing)! Flower & Cream has an enticing store front with neon lettering beckoning you to the numerous choices of ice cream and cones! There are nearly unlimited flavor combinations with 8 different types of cones to pair with the many flavors of ice cream. I tried the Vegan chocolate cookie with a midnight vanilla cone. The Vegan chocolate cookie was delicious - made with coconut milk and pieces of chocolate cookies! The texture of the ice cream was smooth and the flavor pairing with the midnight vanilla cone perfect. On top of everything, the service was great! Often when I get Vegan ice cream, I am left feeling disappointed - not at Flower & Cream! I would go back to POST just for this ice cream. read more

Flower & Cream is such a staple icecream spot in Houston with unique flavors. Some of my favorites including strawberry rose and rainbow cake (not pictured). Also the various cone flavors are so fun to choose from and definitely something that I haven't seen in other icecream shops nearby. Service and staff are super friendly, and they provide you with unlimited samples! I love that Flower & Cream provides various vegan options too for my lactose intolerant self. I can attest that they are just as delicious too. Prices are a little steep, but this is pretty comparable across all icecream shops in Houston. Plus, the delicious flavors make everything worth! Will continue coming back to try more of their options. read more

I needed a sweet treat after some exams and tried out this ice cream place near the med center called flower & cream. They have a lot of interesting and unique flavors and cones. They also allow you to sample any flavors if you have trouble deciding. I ended up getting honey roasted strawberry on a lavender cone. There was actually tiny bits of strawberry in it. I really recommend it since it has a profound yet not too overpowering strawberry flavor. The lavender cone actually tasted like lavender and I thought it paired really well with the strawberry. read more
We wanted ice cream after leaving the zoo and I'm glad I found this place. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a cute small place that has more choices than you would think. I enjoyed they have different flavors of ice cream plus waffle cones. The flavors are very unique such as honey roasted strawberry and unicorn track. I will be back! read more
Came here for the first time! Got to have two different kinds of vegan ice cream There were five flavors to choose and I picked strawberry and chocolate stuff! Twas very delicious Since it was vegan I ate it a bit less guilty feeling of consuming sweets haha One scoop with cone for $7.50 ish and a bit higher end yet it's worth it once in awhile as a good reward! :) Come check this place out! My eyes quickly scanned the menu, searching for vegan ice cream highly recommended by a friend. As a surprise and delight to me, vegan options were prominently displayed, indicating that the shop is committed to catering to dietary preferences of all types. Following the tasting of a few samples, I eagerly placed my order, my anticipation building, with each passing moment. As I watched her prepare my cone, I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail and care they put into crafting each scoop. I was overjoyed when the server handed me a cone with a generous scoop of vegan peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream. I was absolutely blown away by the creamy texture and the rich flavor of this dish. I enjoyed the symphony of taste created by the velvety peanut butter base and the luscious chocolate chips. Every bite left me amazed that such a delicious treat could be plant-based. Perfectly balanced flavors - not too sweet, but just enough indulgence. 93 degrees outside SO DEFINITELY ICE CREAM WEATHER. Picked this place because it had good reviews and was close to the area I was in. I loved how they had a lot of choices to choose from and flavors cones. I got Cookie Butter ice cream w/ a dark chocolate cone. THE COOKIE BUTTER ICE CREAM WAS SOOOOO GOOD. The biscoff cookie pieces made it EVEN BETTER. I don't use eat the cone, but I ate a majority of the dark chocolate cone, it was so good, paired really well with the ice cream 10/10 definitely recommend. read more

I had the experience of trying this quaint ice cream shop in Houston. While there were unique flavors to choose from, many of them left me quite unamused. I got the "Flight of Six" (6 flavors for $18.00) and found many of the unique options to be lackluster in taste, much to my surprise. For example in the fruity flavors, it had a lack of actual fruity flavors and more cream flavor. If that's your thing , go for it. Otherwise not missing much. It was my first time here and was highly recommended by my friend I went with. They had a decent selection of ice cream flavors and quite a few of their cones. Some of their flavors are unique and quite good actually and so are their cones. Their service is really good too. They're calm and allow you to sample as many flavors as you want. The place is really nice with a few tables and chairs and they have 3 really cute swings to sit on. Great place for ice cream! read more
