I came here on Sunday with a big group of family to celebrate a birthday. We arrived around 2-2:30, and it was pretty busy. It was everyone's first time going so we had to take some time to figure it out. They told us they sell day passes for the venue, which of course has the mini golf along with other activities like ping pong and corn hole and a playground for children. The people working the front were very helpful explaining everything and then we got a table in the dining section. We went out to the course in different groups and some stayed back at different times to eat too. The food looked decent. I didn't eat much but I was happy to see at least one vegan option. I tried the hummus which was pretty good! Others enjoyed their burger and some apps but said the chips tasted stale. Overall it was a good experience. Nothing special to me and I would argue overpriced, hence the 4 stars. But we spent 4-5 hours there so ended up being worth it I would say. Might come back for something to do sometime, but wouldn't say it's top of mind. read more

Went to PopStroke on Thursday afternoon with a group of my coworkers and had a great time! I had a few of the jalapeño margaritas (which were okay) and my friends all had beers. We were able to get through a game of 18 holes on the red course in about an hour, and I would only consider myself an amateur putter I wish there were more shaded areas, as it was pretty hot but that's to be expected in Florida! Also would have been awesome if there were servers on the course so we didn't have to walk back to the front for drinks, but all in all was a lot of fun! read more

Had a great time at the new PopStroke. I first visited before they opened and was able to see how everything was layed out. Afterwards I came back this passed Wednesday. Wednesday was a good night to come. It was College night and it's $15 instead of $30 for mini golf. There was a good amount of people and it didn't feel crowded at all which was nice. They have so much here besides mini golf. They have milk shakes and ice cream for snacks, there's a bar and beer on tap. They have a restaurant. They also have other games including corn hole, fooz ball, & ping pong. These were so much fun as well since we hadn't played in a while. I was also impressed with the music. It was a good mix of music and made the environment oh so perfect. I will def be back, & I'm glad it's so close to home. I think coming on the week day is perfect, & I can't see how it can't be busy on the weekend. It's def a great spot for dates, friends, & family! read more

Took my kids to experience new type of miniature golf on Spring Break. One of my kids like this more as it definitely provides a more realistic experience than putt-putt. They definitely put the time in to food, and service.. while providing a good atmosphere for everyone young to old. Worth a try... we were glad we went early as it fills up quickly and waiting would be nice if it was reserved more like top golf. All in all worth trying out and a good time had by all. read more

I loved my experience at PopStroke! Playing mini golf is always a blast but when you have amazing food options and bar service on the green- you can't beat it. The staff is lovely and super helpful, the food is truly delicious (get the salmon if you go because that was such an unexpectedly great dish) and the drinks are the bomb.com. Sandwich was super bland, no seasoning which was a def disappointment. My girlfriend ordered the turkey club and she said that was good. The staff was very young. They seemed to be having good conversation with each other but not so attentive when greeting. We sat in the back by the bar and had issues with the qr code menu. Our waitress knew of the issue and provided menus. Drinks which I forgot to take a picture of was kinda overpriced for what they were. Weak juice and ice drinks. Wings, burger, and Taco were ok. Great place in Lutz by the outlets. This time I was able to have some food and it was really delicious in addition to the fun mini golf courses. They have two 28 hole courses, one is supposed to be harder than the other, but I think they were both hard. They have a bar on the middle of the courses or you can order a drink on the app to be delivered to you. We ate and I had the fish tacos which were delicious and a wonderful chocolate peanut butter milkshake for dessert. Fun place for kids and adults alike. read more

This was so fun! There is the black course and red, red is more challenging they said and it is 18 holes for either. I even got a hole in one on the black side! It's very picturesque with palm trees everywhere, fun music playing, and there is also a bar in the middle of the course. I recommend downloading the app (I know...another app) and the server brought out our 4 drinks super quick! They also have a restaurant, bar and ice cream area. $30 per person is a little steep but you can play as long as you want. read more

I spent $100 for my child and me to have the worst putt putt experience of my life! It was $30 plus tax for me and $16 plus tax for my kid to play all day, and that's how long it will take you to complete an 18 hole course because there's no cap to the amount of people on the course at any given time. Therefore, you're waiting 15-20 mins at each hole! We waited 40 minutes for our table at the food area and 90 minutes for our food to come out completely wrong! I ordered the Strawberry Fields Salad with citrus dressing, and my daughter got a child's hamburger. I'm not sure how either item took so long to cook, especially when the restaurant area was fairly empty. My salad came out without dressing. My daughter's food came out 20 minutes after mine and only AFTER I told manager my daughter never got her food. The manager did comp the burger. My request for my citrus dressing yielded Caesar dressing instead. I ate my salad dry because I never saw my server again. My meal with tip was $65. The manager told us plastic cups with lids have free refills, so my daughter attempted to refill her drink and was told she needed a parent to refill it. Ummm, what? I wasted over $100 and hours of my life today, and I won't be going back. read more

I visited PopStroke for the first time with a girlfriend on my birthday. It was a Saturday evening and the place was pretty busy, but not as busy as my friend said she had seen it get. You do need to have a certain level of patience as it gets pretty crowded at the start and you have to wait behind every party ahead of you, regardless of how they are playing. I found that to be the most frustrating since we were a party of two and we were playing pretty efficiently. Cliff's notes below: Pros: -Cool concept -Discounts for military members -Two course options (distinguished by difficulty) -AWESOME activity for the fall or winter (cooler weather); -Drinks and cocktails served while on the course -Unlimited play for $30 Cons: -Expensive to play if you only do one course -Drink menu on the course is completely different from inside: fewer beers and wines to choose from -Outside bar ran out of the wine that we wanted -Waiting to play behind large groups sucks; could take you a while to finish one course. My son invited me and his brother on New Year's Eve and although we didn't really want to go, it was the most fun we've had in a while. 2 of us are really bad at golf but that didn't stop us from having a good time. I can't remember the last time we laughed so much. I like that we could play as long as we wanted. It made it worth the price. The food was also very good. My only criticism is that the more difficult course is not safe for those with mobility issues. My son has a prosthetic leg which can make it difficult to balance on uneven surfaces, and he almost fell a couple of times while walking from one hole to the next. I wish they would have made a smoother transition in between holes. There also seemed to be less benches on that course for some reason. It would have helped if he could have had a chance to sit while waiting for his turn to putt instead of standing uncomfortably on uneven turf. Unfortunately there would be no way for someone in a wheelchair to enjoy this experience. I wish businesses would take that into consideration more. Other than that, I would recommend this place and we look forward to going again. read more

First time at Popstroke and had a blast. Did a double date with friends and had dinner and drinks first. The Birdie juice was amazing with strawberry, gin, basil, cucumber. Anytime Hendricks and cucumber are together I'm game. The nachos were good and a big portion to share, the entice on top was different. We did wait awhile for our food and had to ask for our bartender to check on the food but it was decent service considering it was so busy. The chicken tenders were really good as well. After dinner and drinks we went to put-put and even ordered drinks while on the course. Lots of people played differently and large groups took too long or cut in front of us which cause us to wait awhile. More organization may be helpful. We had a blast together and I even scored a hole in one on the challenge hole at the very end. The course was really nice with palm trees and good lighting. Would definitely try again. We went to PopStroke last Saturday with 4 adults and 1 kid. We arrived right before opening at 10am to get going before it got too hot. Didn't work...it was sooooo hot. We played the red course, but I didn't finish because iwe were dyjng. 2 of our group did finish and also did the black course. They did have coolers with cold towelss along the course, but no fans or shade. We found some shade up in the bar area after that. We were DYING. You can also order drink delivery while on the course...which was nice. We didn't try any food, but our drinks were pretty good. It's pretty expensive per person to play, so I would suggest planning on staying at least a few hours. The night would def be better in the summer. All that said....this course is beautiful. This review is for the restaurant portion only! We came on Thursday evening at 5:30 pm and expected to eat dinner then to play golf. We were sat in the bar area which was filled with fans and shade which were nice. A bartender came around and told us that our menu's we accessible from the app/QR code of our table number. This system is ideal in theory but not in practice. Every time you wanted to order something, you were required to scan the QR code again and fully check out (tip and all) for your food/beverage. Our server (the bartender) was essentially nothing more than a drink runner... The server only checked in on us when our food came around and left our empty cups on the table without bussing them for most of our stay. The food was pretty decent but, nothing that really made me say "wow." It was well into 95 degrees today and the people who were playing mini golf looked hot, humid, and miserable. First impression was we were going to have fun. We walk in and headed to the hostess as we were starving. My husband noticed she wasn't happy. It's 96 degrees currently as I write this so I'm not surprised she's working outside and it's hot. At least she has shade, but when we were asking questions about the app we needed to download to order she seems annoyed and had no interest in being pleasant. Very short. She got points for asking Mike if he would open a closed section of the dining area for us as to sit down. Mike seems pleasant. We ordered I wanted to try 3 of the 4 tacos they offer and asked if I could get a variety and the nice waitress asked the chef and he said no. I would have paid the higher price to have tried 3 different since they are almost the same price I didn't see the issue. I ended up with shrimp and they were good. Husband got wings and fries and they were delicious, son got the fried chicken sandwich and he really liked it. My twins got mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders and they liked them too. We would have played golf if they had installed some sails for shade but it's almost 100 outside full sun and NO shade! Lol they may need to change the name of this place to pop might have a heatstroke hahaha Our server Princess made lunch enjoyable, she went out of her way to see about my tacos when she saw how I was disappointed, she was very pleasant, was attentive kept our drinks full and got all our food right. read more

It was very packed so my husband and I decided to just grab some food & drinks until we can catch it in the afternoon . We were able to find some seats at the back bar. It was a Saturday evening ! While it's a nice place, the bartenders at the outside bar by the ping pong tables are not! For a Friday night, most of the female bartenders seem to have an attitude from hell, are rude and their customer service is non-existing. One feels more welcome at a Taco Bell drive-through! read more

Recently had my first visit to this place...an updated miniature golf experience with an ice cream shop, restaurant, bar, satellite bar on the course, children's playground, and adult play area with corn hole, ping pong tables, and maybe a few other games. It was a Friday and thankfully we got there before the big crowds... I paid $80 for two people to play and two drinks. The cost is $30 per person all day, which might be worth it if you go early or during the week, but seemed expensive for one round of mini golf which was all we cared to play because there were so many people and and we did not want to get into the massive lines that had formed by the time we were done to play even one more round. It's fun, but expensive and crowded in my opinion; there really should be an option for one round of play, especially on Friday/Saturday nights when there are so many people. What's new is the aesthetic of faux sand bunkers and very nice landscaping, but the big difference is how clean and new everything is. I enjoyed the old miniature golf courses with windmills, pirate ships, and giant frogs and goldfish, I just didn't care for how rundown and dirty most of them were. read more

We had such a great time for date night tonight. I felt leaving a review would be the right thing to do. We played both course because we wanted to make the best of date night. It took about 2 hours to finish both courses with some breaks in between to sip on some delicious top shelf Long Island cocktails! There's definitely a lot to do (and even a playground for kids)! This place needs to be way bigger. Note that only the golf area is open at 10a. The restaurant, other activities/games, and playground don't open until 11 because everything is located behind the restaurant and inaccessible until it opens. I don't always write 5-star reviews but after an amazing experience and great customer service from the manager, Princess, it was warranted. My family and I often go to Popstroke for some good food/drinks and for the kids to enjoy the playground. Today PopStroke was extremely busy with a private party and lots of families. We ordered our food and not too long after, our meals arrived but our kid's meals didn't. We eventually were informed our Kid's meals were delivered to a different table. Our server immediately apologized and put a new order in. Unfortunately, my son was not feeling well, so we had to get their meals to go. On the way home, my son noticed his burger was not plain, as he had ordered it and instead had bacon jam. I called Popstroke to let them know and was transferred to manager, Princess. Princess was apologetic and remedied the situation promptly. She voiced that she wanted to ensure we were happy with our experience at PopStroke and would return. It's above and beyond Customer Service, which Princess displayed, is the reason we will continue to return to Popstroke with family and friends. As 1st time visitors, my husband & I were very impressed with the family friendly facilities...We were greeted & seated by a friendly host immediately. He explained the QR-code on-line menu, ordering & service on their mobile app...Took a moment for us seniors, but simple enough! Ice water & drinks served immediately. Facilities were very clean...Families played ping pong, foos ball, corn hole, while music & sports surrounded the entire area. Food & service was great...Then we went on to play 18 holes of miniature golf. As busy as they were, we managed to start playing right away. Great course, very clean, yet challenging for every level of player...Even a large bar island at the center of the course that offered a variety of drinks, including FREE WATER...This is truly a wonderful entertainment venue that a family could spend an entire day! We came on a Friday during the day around 11am and it wasn't that crowded so we were able to get in right away and start golfing. We paid $30 for the all day option. With this option you can leave and come back later the same day if you want, just have to keep the receipt. They also have 2 bars before you get on course and start golfing and the bartenders are great. We had an awesome girl bartender and she made the best drinks! Another perk - if you are out golfing out on the course, and you are thirsty - just download their app and order drinks and they will bring it to you on course ! How awesome is that?
