We tried pop-up bagel on their opening day and it did not disappoint. We drove 30 minutes because we were intrigued by the concept. The bagels were really tasty and they came out fresh and hot. The cream cheese was creamy delicious. We had the scallion cream cheese and it was great. Basically, you have to buy the bagels and the "Schmear" in sets. You have to buy three at least three and it comes with a nice size tub of cream cheese. All in all, we will be stopping at Pop Up Bagels every time we come up to this area. You should too. Good luck folks. Good job.

We decided to give PopUp Bagels a try after hearing so much about them. One thing to know before you go is that you can't order just a single bagel--they're sold in bundles (I believe it was 3, 6, or 12), so keep that in mind if you're just looking for a quick snack. The bagels come out hot and fresh, which is definitely a plus. I ordered the everything bagel, and the flavor was excellent. The texture is lighter and airier, but still very chewy--so chewy that my jaw got a workout by the time I finished it! If that's your style of bagel, you'll probably love it. They offer a variety of spreads, including cream cheese options and flavored butters. I chose the savory butter to go with my everything bagel, expecting it to be smooth and easy to spread, but it was very firm straight from the container and difficult to spread onto the warm bagel. Next time I'd probably opt for one of the cream cheese spreads instead. From what I could tell, the menu is pretty simple--just bagels and spreads, not breakfast sandwiches or other menu items. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'm glad we tried it. The fresh, flavorful bagels are worth checking out if you're curious, but I'd probably skip the butter spread next time.

Being from the…read morenortheast, I have noticed that Brevard County has several bagel shops in the area, as well as hot dog places. Two things that I missed from the Northeast that I don't see on any normal basis down here in sunny Florida, but in Brevard county, both of these things have several options. Anyway, Bagel 13 is a good place to grab a bagel. Are the bagels the best I ever had? No. Definitely not. However, they are good especially considering that I am down here in Florida where I don't see bagels on a regular basis. Sometimes you have to look at the geography when considering giving it a grade. My go to at any bagel shop isn't everything bagel with cream cheese. Here, it is good. I truly had no complaints and as an overall rating I will give it five stars because I am taking the geography into account. There are not a lot of places to grab Bagels here in Florida and this is a decent place to grab a bagel to satisfy your bagel craving.

I had Yelped a…read morebreakfast spot nearby and, whenever I can, I always choose to support a local restaurant over a big chain like Starbucks. The location itself was easy to find and very centrally located, which made it super convenient for a quick breakfast stop. Now -- coming from a New Yorker -- I'll admit the ordering experience felt a little disconnected. The "language" of ordering a bagel just wasn't quite the same, and it threw me off a bit. I'm not saying someone has to be from New York to own or run a bagel place at all... but there's a certain savviness and familiarity that makes the experience feel more authentic. I also noticed they use Boar's Head for their deli meats. While that's a recognizable brand, it just doesn't quite deliver when you're talking about classics like pastrami or a true Reuben. If you're used to traditional deli quality, you may feel the difference. All in all, I appreciate supporting local and the convenience of the spot -- it did the job for a quick breakfast while traveling. With a little more deli depth and bagel-shop flow, it could really elevate the experience for visitors like me who come in with those Northeast expectations.
