One of the better Einsteins I have been too. I typically go through the drive-through and the staff is always very courteous, and things are pretty quick. Every drink that I have gotten has been good, as well as what I've ordered. They have never messed it up. Overall, a good quick and fast stop if you want some good breakfast! read more

This location has the worst service. I always ask for extra extra toasted and they just don't get it!! I had to hand my bagel back to them, holding up the drive thru! It came back to me and I pulled away as to not hold up the drive-through any longer. I pulled over to look at my bagel and it still was not toasted extra well and there was cream cheese all over the outside of the package. An excellent place for a bagel. This is a stand-alone restaurant located on the west side of Wickham road in front of the Goodwill store and south of the Home Depot. It sports a drive-through and a dine-in option. There are a limited number of spaces around the restaurant (about 8 in front and 4 in back) due to the Drive-through but there is an additional row of parking to the south for about 20 cars. The front entrance faces the road. Prior to entering the store, you pass through a low railing holding some tables and chairs for outside dining. Upon entry, the tables for inside dining are directly in front of you and could accommodate about 30 people. The drink station is to your right and the counter to order is to your left. The large menu board is directly behind the counter. They have bagels, spreads, and drinks in the display cases at the counter. You pay at the beginning and your food is prepared for you farther down the counter. I was greeted by the staff at the cash register who was friendly, professional, and helpful. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel, cut, toasted, and buttered. It was prepared quickly and was delicious. The restaurant was clean and orderly and the price was reasonable for the restaurant and the area. I would highly recommend this for anyone in the area craving a great bagel. Enjoy. read more

Jackson is the reason I'm giving this a 5 star review. I went in at 8:15am and there was one person in line ordering. She and the person behind the register (possibly the manager) chatted about the weather for at least 2 min. Jackson brought me to another register and took my order quickly. Then he wiped down all the tables in the restaurant, changed out coffee, and served food at the drive through. There were about 5 people working, and Jackson REALLY stood out for his customer service, efficiency and attention to detail. Thank you, Jackson. Actually better than I thought it would be. First time so I had to decipher the menu but the lady behind the counter was very helpful and as I built what I wanted she offered the same but at a more affordable option. It came out quick and there was a steady stream of folks coming in. The interior was bright and clean....not sure if there was wifi but no worries. The sandwich was very good. The avocado tasted more like guacamole but I was ok with that. They offer lunch too. Will have to try some other things and if they trend like this sandwich they may get another star. read more

After spending 16 years in Manhattan I have come to understand the art of the bagel. Even a family member of ours owns a bagel shop and pumps out marvelous bagels every day. So when I heard so much hype about Einstein Bros I was sceptical to say the least. Luckily a location opened up in North Melbourne and I decided to give it a try this morning. I ordered a large vanilla latte iced coffee and a nova lox. They both were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The iced coffee was very tasty. The nova lox was as described. A smear with capers, red onions, and salmon. To be honest the visual appeal of it was pretty low. The taste of the bagel really was no better than what you can get in local stores. I generally liked this Einstein Bros. Bagels and was a regular customer for years, but two glaring issues have emerged that made me change my opinion: 1) Serving sizes have shrunk drastically. I recently had a bagel/egg sandwich that was actually tiny when compared to a year or two ago. 2) There seems to be a gift card scam going on. Their registers never recognize a valid gift card when slid through the card reader. I AWAYS have to have the cashier manually type in the number on the gift card for it to be recognized. A friend who was told their unused gift card had no money on it by the cashier ended up throwing the gift card out. They were angry when my wife told them that the card had to be entered manually to work. Einstein Bros. should either INSTRUCT ALL EMPLOYEES on how to correctly/successfully redeem gift cards or CORRECT the problem with the registers! Update: To Einstein Bros.: When the shrinkflation and gift card issues have been corrected, let me know and I will amend my review to reflect that. read more

They had a girl working the drive through in the the mornings for several months. She was amazing. Wait times where way down. My food was always correct. I was going here 4 times a week. She's gone now and everything has gone right back to being awful. All I want is a fresh bagel in the morning. Why us that so hard? I stopped by for one of their Apple cinnamon bagels and was saddened when I was informed they couldn't toast that this morning (an untoasted bagel is just chewy and awful). Sadly the only thing good about this store is the location. The wait to get your food or drinks is always 10 minutes or more and on top of that the staff is clueless to what is on the menu. There are menu items advertised that they say they don't make after showing promotions. The manager Jules is inexperienced and does not know how to manage anything. I love Einstein's but this location has ruined it for me and my family. I really hope that corporate gets a look at what is going on at this store and make some changes but until then we won't be going back. read more

It's absolutely incredible that after TWO YEARS this place can't get its act together. I just waited almost an hour for two bagels and a coffee. The foods decent but nothing would constitute waiting that long. I can understand being busy but I totally agree with the other reviewer that said just look at how fast chick fil a can cycle through hundreds of cars in the drive through. Every single time I've gone to this location it has never been less than a 30 minute wait. We got there around 12:30, which I suppose is a little late for a bagel shop. Still, my money is green too. I walked in and up to the "order here" counter. Five people behind the counter were running around doing something, and completely ignoring me for over five minutes. Finally, someone at the "pick up" counter acknowledged us and told us we could order down at tgat counter. They were out of everything bagels. I asked if there were any more baking, and received an unapologetic no. I felt like I was bothering her. If I had set out to write a fictional story about a bad first impression, I probably couldn't have matched what really happened here. I went in at lunch when the place was completely empty. I stood at the ordering counter for 10 minutes while a large number of idling employees didn't greet nor address me. Finally I ordered: a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese. It came out untoasted. I said "this isn't right," so what did they do? They offered to toast the bagel with the cream cheese on it, rather than make a new one. This defied hundreds of years of bagel-making conventions. I tried them again a few days later for breakfast and they took 20 minutes to make a bagel with cream cheese. People with more complex orders who had ordered after us were getting their stuff first. Also, the lemonade was totally flat. A total debacle. I am done, done, done. I wonder what will take their space when the terrible service drives this place into the ground. We could use an Earl Of Sandwich. read more

I was really excited to see an Einstein open up after having one on my college campus and loving it. Well, it's possible that love affair has ended. Their frozen mocha is still on point but that's kinda where it ended. There was only one person in front of me in line when I walked in the door. They ordered a plain bagel which I noticed they were clearly out of but I figured maybe they just had a fresh batch in the back. I went ahead and ordered one when it came my turn and was told they had been out of them for hours... Perplexing. I ordered and egg sandwich and a buttered bagel and then proceeded to wait for 25 minutes. All the while watching employees clean windows while the car line snaked around their building and the woman at the take out window waited for the same amount of time as me. This is a new location so it seems like they definitely have some kinks to work out to have this location work more efficiently. read more

I have never had such a good experience. I come through all the time and am always pleased with my experience but today was just over the top. Everything about it was good. I was unable to get the name of the man who helped me but it was a ginger working behind the register and putting together food as well. I honestly can say this was the best experience I have ever had at any food service and will continue even more to be coming back.
