Went for the first time, today around 10am and was surprised with its cool location that it wasn't packed and then after eating there....i was really surprised that it wasn't packed. The biscuits and sausage gravy was flavorful and pretty close to perfect and the fried green tomato BLT was excellent; the green tomatoes were tangy , the bacon was thick and cooked right and the remoulade had a nice light spice to it.....will be back next week. They need more help!!! We went there on Mother's Day afternoon. The waitress said it would be slow. Only customers there were the two of us and a large table of folks. Maybe 15. The small outdoor sitting area is where to be on a bright, cool, Florida, mid-morning day. Seating indoors includes several 2-tops and a couple tables for 5 or 6 people. I am giving two stars to be nice because the environment was cute and quaint. The service was slow, but that wasn't the problem. It was understandable because there was only one person waiting tables. When my boyfriend and I arrived we were asked to move to a different table so someone (who wasn't ever named) could "see" us. However, an older lady walked in and sat where we were sitting and no one asked her to move. The iced latte I had was essentially vanilla creamer over ice. Then, when I didn't order any food but wanted to get the check for my boyfriend's food the person working looked at me like I had two heads and said "YOU are paying?" And when I said yes she just looked at me like I was insane. Then, she said "what? You just aren't hungry?" This really bothered me because honestly it isn't any of her business, and the way she was asking was extremely rude.
