Horrible customer service from the owner and damaged dress. I dropped a new bridesmaid dress (in a dress bag) off for alterations on April 1st at Poquoson Cleaners and paid the entire cost the same day ($80) for hemming the bottom and taking it in at the waist to be ready on April 24th. On April 9th the owner CJ called me and said she was charging my card an additional $40 because the dress had an additional layer and I was misquoted. I said that was unacceptable and this was the price her employee gave me for the alterations. She told me that they were not doing the work for the original agreed upon price. I came on April 10th to pick up the dress, when picking up the dress it had pen marks across the back (not previously there and pictures from the store) and looks to be partly hemmed at the bottom. I spoke to CJ the owner again and she said "I couldn't prove that the marks were not there prior to dropping off the dress." Overall this establishment has proved untrustworthy with shady business practices. read more

I've had two really great experiences here First, they altered pants and a dress for me. I waited months to pick it up (my fault) and they still had them! I honestly wasn't expecting them to still have them. Second, I brought them a 3T red pleather unitard, and they altered it to fit my tiny 1 year old. Not an easy job to do. I'll definitely continue to use them for any alterations moving forward. read more

Took clothes there to have cleaned for my aunt. Returned today ( with ti ket in hand) and they say someone picked up on the 15th) we were out of town and no one associated with us would have know we had dry cleaning there. They insist it was someone we know picked up the items without a ticket. We have to wait more than a week to speak to a manager about clothes they lost. It isn't a money thing it's just a professionalism thing. They suck do not take anything you value there.​ read more

I decided to check this spot out because my fiancé needed his suit tailored for our wedding in September and we happened to be right next door. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store. We went about 30 minutes before they closed on a Thursday, so they were not very busy. The lady that worked with us was very friendly and appeared to know what she was doing in regards to the alterations. My total for the alterations was about $65. This included a suit press and a shirt press. I'm not too familiar with alteration prices, but that seemed like a good number to me! They also do alterations on wedding dresses, suede, and much more.
