Such a cute little coffee shop! I saw a lot of reviews about it being super busy, which I'm sure it does get in the morning, but 2pm on a Sunday isn't too bad! There's a little free parking lot next door, they have wifi and an outlet or too, so I can definitely see this being a nice spot to get some work done. As for the drinks themselves, it's nice that they have a good mix of your standard coffee options, as well as some fun flavors. And they do a good job of balancing having the drink taste like what it's supposed to without it being too sweet. The coffee flavor comes through really nicely too. One of my favorite coffee spots we have visited in the last two years. My family tries little spots each weekend. We stopped at Porfa one weekend and we were blown away. First of all the place is pure Tenerife vibes which we love. The place was backed but we were lucky enough to find parking and then some seats. We ordered our drinks with the sweetest guy ever . Danny let us know they were our of a couple baked goods but we ended up getting this yummy apple strudel. We also ordered the churro and flan latte and they were FABULOUS. Seriously 0 complaints. Has to be the best combination of sweet and strong. I know this might be slightly weird maybe not but the best bathroom I've visited ever. First of all theres a fountain in there.... Crazy love that. Saffron latte was amazing, but what i loved the most was the egg and cheese croissant. It is so simple but the croissant was so well made. The interior has limited seating but we were able to get a small table early on a saturday morning. $17.50 for those two items (unfortunately standard for the area but still a lot). read more

I was passing through on a drive up from SoFlo and decided to stop here for a coffee and pastry. I got the iced saffron latte and a ham & cheese croissant. The woman who took my order was so friendly and complimented my tattoo. We chatted for a bit and she gave me recs on the menu, which I appreciated. I sat down to wait for my order and took in the ambiance of the place. The servers wore Spain jerseys for the world cup and there were flags up in the restaurant too. The built-in shelving, stone walls, colorful tiles, and decor all reminded me of a cool, breezy, garden oasis in Mallorca. Absolutely stunning. When I got my order, the croissant was hot and full of flavor. The latte was unique and well balanced in sweet and savory. I love it! read more

I love trying their different specialty matcha lattes-- my recent visit I tried their banana brulee and it was delicious. They use Alma matcha which I love seeing a local business support another local business. So I came here on a Friday morning. The parking in front of the place seems like you have to pay for it so I parked in the back. On this particular day, it was very busy line almost to the door. So it did take me a while to get through it. I did have time to observe, and it seemed to be a very quaint and cozy place. But also extremely loud from all the talking. It sounded like a school cafeteria. I ordered two drinks because why not one was the banana Brulé Matcha and the other was, I actually can't remember but it was an iced latte. The Brulé Matcha was decent. I got it with oat milk. I did end up getting it with extra syrup because the Man said it was a light flavor. The iced latte was very watery, even the milk. I did not like it at all, which is probably why I can't remember what I ordered. I ended up throwing it away. They had a guava and cheese pop tart, and for me this was the star of the show. The outside was flaky. The inside wasn't too sweet. I loved it. And the last thing I got was like this breakfast bun. It had egg and cheese in the middle, which it was OK. All in all if I was ever in the area, I would stop for just that pop tart. read more

I'll admit that I'd had several coffees before we arrived to finish our coworking day at Porfa, so I didn't get to try theirs. With that being said, if it's as tasty and thoughtful as their many baked goods and their decor, I'm in for a treat next time! I tried the banana bread and a turkey pressed sandwich and both were GREAT! They hit the spot while we finished a quick meeting in one of their little nooks. Looking around, I felt cozy- and I think this is 100% intentional. They've created the kind of little shop that makes you feel right at home. I finally got the chance to try Porfa coffee and my experience was great! The highlight of this place is definitely the design and decor. Very tastefully done and is a very nice looking place to sit and have a cup of coffee. The bathroom is a dream so please go in there and experience that for yourself. I had a cup of drip coffee and it tasted great! Great quality coffee, brewed well and the cup was a nice treat to look at and enjoy while I had my coffee. Visited Porfa Coffee on a Sunday specifically to try the now very-online-famous cinnamon rolls, and I can confidently say they're worth the attention. First impressions matter, and this place delivers right away: the space is clean, modern, and has that inviting coffee-shop ambiance that makes you want to linger a little longer. Service was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in, which always sets the tone for a good experience. I tried both the classic cinnamon roll and their strawberry variation, which at the time had a strawberry-banana style icing. Texture-wise, both were excellent--light, fluffy, and not overly dense, with a delicate finish that made them feel a bit more elevated than your average bakery roll. Of the two, the classic was my favorite. It had the right balance of sweetness and cinnamon, while the strawberry version, though still very tasty, leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer. That said, both are absolutely worth trying if you're curious. Porfa Coffee is the cutest little coffee shop in Fort Lauderdale and has definitely become a favorite of mine. My boss and I stopped by a couple of days ago to co-work, and it was the perfect spot. They had a few Christmas-themed drinks and seasonal options, which made the experience feel extra cozy. I also tried one of their sandwiches and it was amazing. I usually do not eat eggs, but this one had soft scrambled eggs, the kind that are creamy and fluffy. I actually loved it. It added so much richness and paired perfectly with the cheese. The service was also amazing! I ordered an iced white peppermint matcha and it tasted exceptional, super smooth and well balanced. Everything was decorated in a festive, Christmassy way, and even the bathroom was a surprise. It had a little waterfall fountain that gave the space a spa-like, relaxing feel. If you go on Sunday the Cinnamon Bun is an absolute MUST! It is actually one of the best I have had. I love the vibe at Porfa and will continue to come back when I am in the area. They always have music that fits the vibe of the cafe, the decor is so nice and the staff is always kind and helpful. I enjoyed my trip here yesterday! It was a bit busy at first, but things mellowed out around 12:30 with a steady flow of customers. The inside is very clean, and I love the design--it's a mix of modern with 70s/80s decor. Very groovy. The staff is upbeat and kind, and the overall vibes are great. To be honest, I wasn't wow'd by my churro latte. It was still very good, just not as bold in flavor as I expected. Pro tip for my sweet-coffee lovers: add a couple pumps of sugar-free vanilla or another syrup you like to balance any bitterness. What did wow me was the cinnamon bun. It was out of this world--I thought about it all day. I'll definitely be coming back for that alone. Just make sure they're baked all the way through. Extremely busy coffee shop in Fort Lauderdale. Two little tables on the front patio and comfy seating inside selling pastry and Wells Coffee #9. Ordered my usual double espresso which was presented in a mini brown ceramic cup on a white molded saucer. Loved the round ball handle providing a sense of creativity. I tasted Wells coffee several times so knew it would be fine. The gender neutral bathroom was a spiritual retreat to say the least (see pic & video). Aside from the basic bathroom items there was a flowing polyresin three tier led zen fountain and a rattan pendant light fixture exemplifying the owner's originality of their business. Such a cute newer coffee spot in Fort Lauderdale. Their specialty coffees are incredible and very unique especially the saffron one! The vibe is very cool and cozy. The staff is super friendly too. When I went, I was pregnant and asked them how much caffeine was in their matcha and they were willing to tone down the strength for me. I went later in the day when they were almost about to close so they were pretty much all out of their food items, but I would love to come back and give them a try! I've heard their focaccia is amazing too. I live in Plantation so to come here is definitely a hike if I just wanted to come grab a cup of coffee, but I would say it's definitely worth it! The food and coffee here is incredible. I got the churro latte with the delicious cold foam, and wow was I impressed. It wasn't too sweet and overpowering and had a great coffee flavor. I also tried the yummy guava and cheese "poptart" which was so delicious. The shop itself is so cute and chic, a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee date! Porfa Coffee is a cute little spot right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. I stopped by super early on a Tuesday morning, and it was totally empty, which was nice and peaceful. There's plenty of parking, but not a ton of seating, so I could see it getting a bit cramped if it gets busy. The menu is somewhat small. Mostly coffee, tea, and a few pastries and small bites. I tried the Churro Latte since it sounded really good (they make their own churro syrup and foam), but honestly, I didn't get any churro flavor. Just a light cinnamon taste, and the coffee itself was a little bitter. I was hoping for something sweeter, especially for $7.50. Grand opening day! What a pleasure to support a local woman owned business! The iced saffron latte is life changing. No cold foam necessary to truly enjoy the taste of the saffron syrup. The flan latte was also amazing with such a subtle yet sweet caramel taste. I've visited countless coffee shops and have never seen such original latte flavors that are executed as well without compromising the quality of the espresso. They use Alma Matcha and have plenty of amazing baked goods from New River Bakery. Porfa Coffee is truly the best new coffee shop partnering with the absolute greatest in Fort Lauderdale, including my fave espresso beans from Wells Coffee. I visited three times in one week. That's how good the Flan Latte is. A great addition to the Oakland Park neighborhood. I wish I still lived in this area as this would easily be my go-to place to work from. Staff is super nice and welcoming. They chat you up, always smile and answered some questions I had. I know the matcha quality is good because they carry the brand I like, but the barista may have been in a hurry. Went in today incredibly excited to try out Porfa. Came out wanting to forget that I'd gone in the first place. The design is really beautiful, and I appreciated the laptop vs. non-laptop zone. What made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, though, was the service. Every single person in line ahead of me was greeted warmly. I even heard the cashier having a conversation with a customer about college and how exciting it'll be, which I thought was really sweet. Service is an energetically taxing job, so seeing someone be that warm and engaging with every person made me feel like I was about to have a great experience too. The second I walked up? She didn't look me in the eye once. I greeted her, asked how she was, and got a very boilerplate response that, in tone, felt like "please hurry up and give me your order." It was jarring, especially after seeing how warm she had been with everyone else. I wasn't looking for a full conversation, but from the moment I said hello, I felt like I was bothering her. I left feeling noticeably unwelcome in comparison to everyone before me. The drink I had was okay, which matters, but honestly, how a place makes you feel matters more. I'm sure this review is a drop in the ocean, but it's something I'll definitely be sharing with friends and family if they're considering trying Porfa. read more

Finally got to try Porfa Coffee. The space is small but decorated so beautifully, with limited seating. The staff was extremely kind & helpful upon ordering. For 11am on a Sunday it was most definitely bustling. Luckily there wasn't a line but there was a small crowd of people waiting for their orders. My boyfriend and I both got the churro lattes, which we received fairly quickly. We also decided to share a cinnamon roll, which they only have on sundays. The cinnamon roll took almost 30 minutes, which I really could not understand. After the long wait, I want to say it was worth it but I'm not entirely sure. Don't get me wrong it was delicious, I loved the heavy cinnamon flavor & the icing. What really bothered me was there were parts of it that were really hard. I prefer my cinnamon rolls on the softer side. The churro lattes we really enjoyed. It wasn't overly sweet & I was really fond of the churro cold foam.
