I thought I had posted this review a while back but I found it sitting in my drafts. This is Drive Up or Walk Up only. Depending on the time of morning, the line can be out into the street. I ordered an Asiago Cheese Bagel, double toasted with plain Cream Cheese. They had me pull around the corner to wait for my food. The wait was less than 10 minutes and I was on my way to work. My bagel looked burnt but it wasn't and was actually very good. If you are familiar with Zabar's Asiago Cheese bagels, you will love these. They taste exactly like them. read more

People were nice and cute concept. Very homey feeling for a drive up, however I asked for a half sweet sugar free caramel iced cappuccino and this is not it. At all. Lots of bitterness from the coffee and the syrup is way too overpowering. Took two sips and threw it out. read more

There is something so unique and charming about Expresso Coffee. Maybe it's the fact that it's only drive-thru, or that they roast their beans in a variety of delicious flavors, or that they've been around for years and years. Either way, it is definitely a treat to come here. Service is great and quick. I got an iced Irish cream coffee with oat milk and some sugar. I don't typically trust baristas and coffeemakers to put sugar in my own cup, but the folks at Expresso put just the right amount. Love this spot that's literally on the way to work! Their bagels are fresh & they don't skimp on the cream cheese. They have amazing freshly roasted coffee with a rotation on flavors & beans used daily. If you bring your own coffee cup they'll fill it up for $3 you just waiver the stamp on your frequent buyers reward card. There were 3-4 cars ahead of me. It surprises me a little that drive thru coffee is a thing. Not the most eco friendly thing as no one orders online, and the wait was substantial with cars running their engines the whole time. Alas, I'm sure there is a counter argument for convenience. I ordered a cafe con leche, but it just wasn't the same as a real Cuban one, and also a bagel with crème cheese on an everything bagel (I guess I should have said light on the shmear bc they loaded it up). They made the coffee but forgot to give me my bagel, and I drove away like an idioto but didn't leave the parking lot before I remembered something was off lol. The lady said to park on the other side of the shop to wait for my bagel, only to tell me a few minutes later to "leave" bc I shouldn't just be waiting there (I got a work thing that interrupted me from leaving right away which I had to handle). The coffee here is nothing extraordinary. I had an expresso and sad to say, tasted like a weak home brew. However, the build your own sandwich was on very yummy bread with good quality turkey meat. Also had an arugula salad with fresh avocado with homemade ginger dressing. Really tasty. I would definitely try a coffee again and give them another go. Just know where to sit outside heads up. Great family run business that's been around for 30 years! They get steady lines of cars going thru through out the day yet efficiently handle each customer's order that there really isn't much of a wait. Coffee is famously fresh, roasted the day before its imported into the coffee shop, a fact that the owner loves to share. Food is fresh, I recommend the chicken salad sandwich. I love espresso but this was a bit watered down and just ok. It wasnt super good nor was it very fast. I do love that it had a drive in, so that was very helpful. I was waiting in line and somebody called the store and apparently was speaking Spanish. The worker was extra rude and quite frankly racist with his response. He loudly said "in this country we speak English, try learning it". Extremely disappointed in that response, especially living here is S Florida. They lost a customer, there's better non-racist options out there. Forget this place! read more

I drove right up to the window and wanted to get out of the car for a better viewing of the extensive menu they had. The guy with a long pony tail started to scream not to get out of my car and drive around the building or he would refuse to serve me. He was so rude right from the start. So I followed his order and drove around the building and waited for my turn and still no appreciation from this guy. The coffee was just okay and costs me $6. Maybe this guy hates foreign women. It is really hard to find a drive through coffee place in broward! We were really happy to stumble upon this place. Their decor was cute and it felt like a cozy mom and pop shop. Had a great experience! Drive through only, the service is fast and friendly. I had an egg salad toast and it was delicious! It had egg salad with bacon and a sriracha maple sauce. It's drive through or walk up only with quick service. You go there often enough they remember your favorite. Just found this place driving through Ft Lauderdale. This tiny drive up coffee shop has a great variety of coffee flavors, drinks, snacks and pastries. The line moves fairly quick and this place is a much better value than Starbucks. I ordered the German Chocolate coffee with cream and sugar. It had a slight hint of chocolate and wasn't super impressed. Although I ordered a chocolate muffin and fresh croissant with butter and those were scrumptious. The muffin was very moist and sweet. The croissant was soft, flaky and buttery. Both baked goods were worth the visit! Will probably be back soon and will try out another coffee option. They have tons! read more

I had bookmarked Espresso Coffee Co. several months ago based on such great reviews! I finally visited the landmark today and WOW! what a delightful experience. I pulled up to the "drive-through" (but they have a walk up window, as well), with 3 cars ahead of me, at about 8:30 this morning. It reminds me of a local beach shack - bright blue building, partial wood structure, dirt lot, etc. It looks like a venue straight out of the islands and I love it! I read through the chalkboard menu while in line, from hot coffees, iced coffees, teas & juices, but it wasn't until I got to the "drive thru" window about 7 minutes later that I decided on an espresso with light cream and sugar ($2.75). I took my first sip and BOOM! - it was very flavorful and smooth with a chocolatey finish, not bitter whatsoever. Espresso Coffee Co. also features "Flavors of the Day" like chocolate macadamia and ginger bread and serves breakfast items like baked goods, fruits, and bagels, which you can fill with turkey, ham, salami, chicken, or tuna salad. Next time, I'll be sure to try a "Flavor of the Day" and a breakfast item! I'm already excited for my next visit to Espresso Coffee Co. *****Five stars because of it's originality - I have never seen such a quaint, local, and delicious coffee company! read more
