Chopped Brisket Sandwich and fried okra with ranch

stopped here while traveling through from OK to CA. Definitely worth the stop! The food was delicious! The fried okra was the best I have had. The meat was full of flavor. The staff was very welcoming and polite! Definitely worth stopping! Don't let the outside keep you from going in!

    It's was absolutely delicious.

I was on a camping trip last week with my next stop being south of Amarillo, Texas. I needed some Texas BBQ for the first time in my life! It was my first time in the lone star state. Not only did Pork N Things BBQ not disappoint, they highly impressed!! The food was phenomenal!! The service was solid as well. I was greeted upon entry and shown the ropes per say. I ordered my lunch plate, everything here is a la carte. The brisket sandwich was unbelievably tender and smokey deliciousness!! The bun was super fresh and soft. The ribs are fall off the bone style and taste superb. Brunt ends were really good as well, everything BBQ here was top notch!! The bread pudding was so-so. My only ding, but I was here for the BBQ and left with it too!!! I ordered a half rack of ribs, a pound of chopped brisket and pound of burnt ends to-go...you know what they say, when in Rome!! When they say everything is bigger in Texas, that definitely applies to the ribs here...go ahead order a half rack or a full rack from Pork N Things and find out!! The BBQ sauce here is like candy, it's some of the best I've ever had!! They have regular and spicy, I took as much as I could to go!! I wish I could of took more!! If you're anywhere near Amarillo, Pork N Things is an absolute must try for that Texas BBQ experience!!!

I am so glad we found this place when passing through Amarillo. It was a little off the beaten path, but the BBQ was fantastic! All the meats were smoky, tender, and flavorful. A little advice- get the fried okra for your side dish. It was soooo good! The restaurant is spacious with a long bar along one wall and a counter where you order and pay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. You won't regret stopping in at Pork N Things!

YUMMY!!!! If you didn't know it, you would drive right past this place. The food was delicious. They toast the bun and pile on the beef!!! So good. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. It has outdoor seating but we sat inside.

Sunday afternoon. Party of four. Quiet and laid back. Friendly waitress. Ordered combo tray of sausage, ribs. and brisket with mac and cheese with tortillas on the side. Really good bbq! We loved their back patio. . Nice evening

We stopped here on a road trip out to Arizona, and now I wish we hadn't. Because now it's all I crave! But as I live 15.5 hours away in Tennessee, I cannot easily get it This was hands-down the best BBQ we've ever had. I got the ribs, and they were so tender and falling off the bone. My husband got the brisket and he said it was also super tender and very flavorful. The sauces were the best, too, and I wish I could have bought bottles of it to bring home! The homemade tortillas they provide are also so good, soft, and warm! To be honest, the area it's in will make you question (1) Am I in the right place? (2) Is this a safe area? and (3) can I trust the food here? Rest assured the answer to all three is YES. We thought it was a little sketch at first, but trusted the reviews. I 10/10 recommend eating here if you're in the area!!

Right on the 40, which makes it so easy when traveling through. LET ME SAY: This was the Texas barbecue we imagined and dreamed it would be... But even better! My husband loved the brisket and I adored the pork ribs. Beans and potato salad were on point. The spicy barbecue sauce is just spicy enough. The tortilla it came with was very fresh. One of the best barbecue experiences I can remember.

    Fatty side brisket, turkey

This is by far one of my favorite bbq places. I absolutely love this place. I am a driver who travels all over the place and am a major foodie. I get obsessed with good places. This is definitely one of them. The owners and staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This place does have a few spots for semi's( across the street). There brisket will make your eyes roll to the back of your head and your mouth explode with excitement! The turkey in the photo is also absolutely dripping with flavor and is delicious!! They are so good that they often sell out so be quick to get here!!

    Delicious ribs!

I don't think a place did you feel more secret than this one does. I'm a deserted road with the closest thing nearby being a truck stop, on the edge of more or less nothing.. it's not the place you would expect to find some of the best barbecue around. Or maybe it's the perfect place to. I'm going to have to eventually come back and try this again and try some of the brisket. The ribs are some of the best I've had! I didn't even use any extra sauce that I had got because the flavor was already so perfect. Everyone was friendly and it was an easy ordering process where they brought it to your table. And the space is absolutely huge. It looks like it would be nothing from the front when you pull up but the space out back is crazy and looks like they would have a great time with a band on a stage!

Great flavor and service! Sides were well prepared. They work hard and it is a comfortable and down home experience.

Believe the reviews just a little ways off the highway and worth every bit. The pork and burnt end brisket was great.

As we were passing through Amarillo I had the kid look up a BBQ place in the area that had good…read morereviews and wasn't some mall based chain type place and he came up with Tyler's. Decided to give it a go and we are glad we did! Pulled in for lunch and the place was hoppin'! Long line, all local plates...always a good sign! We had a brisket sandwich and the brisket meat plate, sweet tea, and lemonade. Everything was delicious and the sauces were wonderful. Service was fast and friendly. Plenty of seating and an open inviting atmosphere. If we lived in the area, this would definitely be a go-to spot!

So, we were coming through Amarillo, Texas looking for good barbecue. With all the good reviews, I…read morethought for sure this was going to be good. I am very much supportive person for small business owners. So, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The only A+ I could give here was good fast service. Let's talk about the most important component of Tyler's BBQ. All of the brisket and sausage was dry and VERY salty. The only saving grace was the BBQ sauce. ( I had to drink a lot of tea and water. ) The potato salad I would give 3.5/5 - decent, but memorable. The coleslaw was decent but meh 3.5/5. There were customers there, but mostly loyalists who are used to the food. It wasn't packed at all. Ambiance/Decor With all the accolades on the wall and even on the door "unless we are sold out," I was hopeful that the food would be better than the decor. It felt like Tyler's was sitting pretty on its laurels and accolades and were riding its own past coattails. The floors were crack. The place was quite dark. Things look like it never even got a coat of paint in a long time. The "rustic country" style needed an update. Now, I hate giving this place a bad review, but someone has to be honest and give constructive criticism. As of newcomer, I wouldn't recommend this place right now. Sorry, Tyler's BBQ- hope you can take constructive criticism and make your place better. Good luck.
