Good food and great service. Very friendly staff, and clean tables. No bathroom but they'll tell you where the nearest one is located.

I ate at this place because all of the other restaurants in Niagara Falls were too busy.

Want to try a New York, keep moving along!…read more Niagara Falls is a feast for the senses of winds, mists, and amazing sights. After taking in the majestic falls, I was ready to treat myself to a classic New York hot dog for the first time coming from California. Misty Grill Hotdogs seemed like a convenient spot, and I was excited to finally try this iconic street food staple. I ordered a classic New York dog, anticipating an epic hot dog. Unfortunately, my first experience with this legendary dog fell a little flat. It's pricey and doesn't taste anything special. It's also very small. Sadly a Costco hotdog would've tasted better. The toppings were equally underwhelming. The mustard was standard yellow, nothing special, and the bun, while soft, didn't quite live up to the hype. Sauerkraut was bland. Perhaps my expectations were too high. I know with Niagara Falls the life of the party is on the Canadian side. On the US side there's not much food options right outside the state park. Service was a bit slow even for 2 customers. There's not many people working there. I would say skip and keep looking.

DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want to be sick (and sad) in bed for days.

There was no one else there when we showed up. She cooks everything from scratch and doesn't have a deep fryer on board, so it does take a little time to get your food. I'd be curious as to how this works with a crowd waiting, but for us, it wasn't an issue. The truck doesn't have any drinks on board, so be sure to stop inside Momma De's and grab a drink - I doubt you'll be able to resist the delicious baked goods she has on display! We did this while we waited for our food to cook. I got a chicken hoagie for $7.50 and it was loaded high with tender chicken, gooey cheese, and peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Super yummy and very filling! Although it wasn't advertised on the menu board, her Facebook post mentioned that they had $1 kids hotdogs, which she confirmed. She also mentioned she has a child of her own, and asked how we would like the hotdog grilled--- she knows how kids can be picky about those dark spots! :) And, YES, it's a Sahlen's hotdog! Nice! The food truck was super clean, which I always like to see. The owner mentioned she lives on Grand Island, too, so it's nice to support local businesses! We sat outside on Momma De's patio to enjoy our food, where there's a couple round tables with benches and umbrellas to shade from the sun. We might have to make this food truck / cookie combination a regular for the summer months!
