I placed an online order for two hotdogs and an order of fries for my son. When I got there, they had to ask me what I ordered and I told them, but on the receipt thing that printed up it said that I ordered two hot dogs and three fries. The owner wasn't there and I guess they couldn't give a refund or anything so I had to go back the next day. The hotdog dogs were good and I had some fries. They were OK. Went in the next day to go get the refund of nine dollars and something cents which went smoothly. And as I was waiting, I saw with the other people were eating in there which were both breakfasts and they looked so delicious. I used to go in there all the time when it was Louie's, but I haven't been in there until yesterday since it's been Jimmy's.. I will definitely stop in there again sometime soon and grab some breakfast. I know they have souvlaki's, so if they have a souvlaki breakfast, I am so all in for that. It was quiet in there, so that was good for people who are trying to talk or so much as enjoy their food. I hate it when music is blaring in restaurants. read more

This location was Loui's Texas hots, and is now under new ownership with a new name. The menu is essentially the same, and the food quality is still very good. There's a traditional diner breakfast menu available all day. Hot dogs and hamburgers with a few Greek items are the order of the day here. Nothing fancy, just dependably good. There's a very nice sauce that goes with just about everything here. The French fries and onion rings are excellent. There's no rice pudding. It's mostly take-out, but there is a small counter. Wheel chair access involves negotiating two doors. You'll need help getting in and out. There's no wheel chair seating, so consider this a take-out place if you're limited physically. This restaurant is at the corner of Delaware Ave and Hertel Ave and is on metro bus routes 11, 23 and 25. read more

So disappointed. Loui's (what this was before his son took over) was a staple to everyone who partied on Hertel. 2, 3, 4am... we'd be there multiple times a week. My daughter send me a picture of a hotdog when I asked what she wanted for dinner and I haven't had these in SO long it was the first place I thought of ...UNTIL... the pricccccce. You used to be able to get a scum dog for $1.69 WITH onions (and it wasn't that long ago!) Now it's $3.89 and an additional .39 for onions. $4.28 for a hotdog??? and whats with the .39 cents for slivered ONIONS? A whole bag of onions cost less than 2 dollars. This was the spot back in the day because it was good and CHEAP. Don't get me wrong, their food is good... and def. worth trying if you've never had one, just not 5 dollar hotdog good and def not a place a local like me would go to grab quick dinner for the fam. read more

Got a basic breakfast takeout. 2 eggs, 2 bacon, home fries and toast. Quality was excellent, service was excellent but price was outrageous ! With tax it came to over $15. Then at checkout they have that screen that calls for a tip , so adding a 15% tip put me at nearly $18 for a not fancy basic breakfast dish. I'm aware of inflation but this is way more than reasonable. read more

Cost $3.69 for a chili dog with barely any chili on it... and they give you get equivalent to a happy meal worth a fries when charge up the toot. Unfortunately this place used to be decent but is a complete scam... but trust me they want that tip at the end of service after charging you up .Save yourself the time got to the grocery store and grill your own. read more

As for the girl who said she got a hotdog here not to long ago for $1.69, she's confused as they haven't been that price in over 15 years, wake up!
