Ordered for delivery and was told one hour. Food came late and was completely cold. Called the store and was told we couldn't eat what was delivered because we needed to return it to get a replacement because they are really busy. The replacement will get there when it gets there. This is the first time I have had time to eat all day and it's 7 PM. Then they hung up. I called back to see if picking it up would take less time and the guy cut me off and said he already told me my only option. Then he said we are really busy. I said shut up for a second I have another question and he said fuck you and hung up. I gave over a 25% tip to be abused as a customer. I love the food and will get my refund by never tipping again and telling each driver why. Update...a personal conversation with the owner and complete replacement of my order in a VERY timely manner changed my perspective COMPLETELY! This pizza was scrumptious! I do think that it was too salty, but that could have been from the amount of meat on there. My favorite part was the ricotta I opted to have placed on it. It really brought the pizza together to melt in my mouth while still maintaining that nice crunch we all love from the crust. It's great that this pizzeria is also open late, especially for a night owl like me. read more

The delivery driver refused to bring my food up my stairs to my door. I have a bad knee and also handicapped. Called the manager and he acted like it's no big deal and I said you just lost a customer and he said ok. Alot of elderly do order take out and people are not able to walk down stairs very well. They should take that into consideration. I could understand if there is a dog or something but their is only two people that live here and it's well lit. I ordered the stuffed cheese crust pizza and set of boneless wings. The pizza was way too cheesy and greasy. You couldn't pick up a slice without all of the cheese falling off. The boneless wings were above average. I figure it would be a regular pizza with a small amount of cheese but I was wrong. This place is hit or miss depending on who's working the kitchen. The white chicken pizza is awesome. I was really enjoying it and didn't notice I was about to bite into a metal twisty tie. The top was filled with toppings. I was actually really impressed by all the chicken and peppers. Little did I know what was hiding underneath. Good luck with this place. I have ordered from this place since college, and that was nearly two decades ago. Sometimes their staffing constraints with delivery are annoying, but I'm close, so that's not really an issue for me. I feel the value to portion ratio is on target and the food is great. Wings are huge, sometimes they are too overdone but nothing a request during order can't fix. It's exactly as you'd expect a downtown pizzeria to be. Staff have always been polite and courteous. The pizza was cold, and the crust was tough. The traditional crust was way too thick and hard while the hand tossed crust was slightly better but still tough. It's a shame because the sauce and toppings were good, but the pizza tasted like it had been sitting around and the crust was too hard to chew. I called 4 times, first three times I was put on hold and then hung up on. I gave it an hour before I got through on my 4th call. My biggest problem though was their lack PPE. The lady working register and making salads was wearing a mask under her chin. Like really? The state is locking everything down tomorrow and a complete lack of competence and ability to keep the public safe. The mask was on but under her chin.... so nose and mouth were exposed, so what's the point? The flavor of the pizza is great. The quality is horrible. We were faithful customers from day one and the pizzas just seemed to get smaller and thinner every week. They barely put any toppings on. For the price, it's just not worth it anymore. Porkys has lost our family as customers. If we wanted a burnt cracker with cheese and canned mushrooms we would open our pantry and make it ourselves. I saw a sign as we were entering the dining room BYOB and thought ok we don't want beer anyway. We sat down thinking they had table service.
