Are you kidding me?! Last night was the worst customer service! Lived in North East for 2 months and we have started checking out local restaurants. Called in an order and they said 25 minutes. Wings, steak salad, veg basket and Pizza logs. Gave them plenty of time. Get there and they said 5 more minutes for the Pizza logs. Ok fine. 10 minutes later they tell me they gave my wings to someone else. It was a total hour of a wait!! Then when I asked for some kind of compensation she said I could have a free coke and that was it!! I told her we won't be back. All a bunch of kids working alone. One girl was dressed very unprofessional. Shorts so short you would think she was nakid for her sweatshirt bottom was hiding them. Very disappointed. Management should take some time to straighten that place out. As for the food.. by the time we got back home just a few blocks away, the deep fried basket was soggy, the Pizza logs soggy and the salad wilted, steak cold and soggy fries to boot. The only positive if you can call it was the ranch is good. Order at your own risk. read more

I just tried to order a pizza for delivery and the person who answered the phone had no clue how to take an order or what items they sold. Store am staying at a hotel and she never even asked for my name or room number. She didn't even request payment information. I asked if she needed any of that information and all she said was ummm, uhhh, have a good day. I asked her to cancel the order. I didn't want to waste time on an order getting lost. read more

Dined there for lunch. Ordered the lasagna. Food was excellent and the portion was more than I could eat. Meal included salad and bread. Atmosphere was great and our server was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Michael's to anyone looking for a quality Italian food! read more

We came on a Sunday night...since our options were limited. The menu is pretty extensive; we ordered a ravioli dinner and vodka penne dinner. Since I think I am the first reviewer, I'd like to be constructive in hopes that this local restaurant will kick it up a few notches. For the price, you can't go wrong, but the quality of the dinner salads and bread that come with the meal were disappointing. After waiting a good amount of time for pasta dishs (we were the only ones there), the penne did not come with the chicken as ordered, and the ravioli had so much 'homemade' sauce, it disintegrated as soon as I cut into it. The waitress charged us for the chicken, and although it wasn't a big deal enough to say anything, it was just the icing on the cake. According to the menu, this dining establishment has been open for over 20 years, and has changed locations three times, and still has kept the same owners. In a town like this one, I would recommend that they take a little drive to the nearest city and dine in a similarly priced Italian restaurant and jot down some notes. read more

Wow you need to go for the best dry wine in the region from Yori cellars. We ordered a pizza and salad to go and it was great and friendly service. We then stopped and tasted their wine at the in house winery and because I appreciate DRY wine ...0 residual sugar this was the best. The owners Mike and Lynn Yori were great! read more

Our dinner at Michael's was reminiscent of an old-fashioned Sunday Italian dinner. We started with some really great wine, a fresh, crisp salad, Italian Wedding soup, a pizza and then a mouth-watering Baked Ziti! I called to place an order and asked for the margarita pizza which is featured on their website. The lady who took my order said, "we don't have that anymore," so I asked for a cheese pizza with mozzarella and basil and she said they have neither of those. ??? Was in North East for work and went here with my partner to have a night out. Our server was a bit cold to us and forgot to bring multiple things to our table. My partner is vegan and asked for her meat on the side and there was so much meat on top of her salad that she almost couldn't eat it. We prefer the wings and I think they have the best wings in the region. They definitely have a better quality wing than most places. The pizza is pretty good too. If you dine in any of the Italian foods are good. I have had the seafood ravioli and it's excellent. I don't understand some of the reviews here every time we've eaten there we love it and a lot of our friends get there take out pizza and wings and chicken fingers from here. I love the small town feel of this restaurant. The food is great! Every time I come into town to visit family, I eat here! Also, I order pre-assembled, mini pizzas to take back with me. I like that this restaurant has had the same family running it despite three locations. As a person that grew up in the area, I know that this family owned business started out very small as only a deliver place and gradually over the years has grown. I ordered a couple of subs. I did not realize that they toast EVERYTHING. The ribeye steak was not even close to what I expected, it was more like left over steak-ums minute steaks with cheese, onions and I think I may have tasted peppers, not sure though. The Cappicola sub I ordered with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and banana peppers came with a sliver of cheese, oregano, oil, wilted lettuce and a half slice of tomato on each half of the sub. I was going to order fries to go with the subs, but at almost $5 for a serving I decided to pass. Same on the Expesive fried mushrooms. The 12" subs I believe were $8 each, and NOT worth the money. I will never go back there again. I would have returned them right away but I was on my way out of town and decided I could not afford any more time wasted with this place. read more

It's been four years since we have been to Michael's. The only reason my girlfriend and I went today was because it is Memorial Day and no one else was open. Things have gotten worse from four years ago. The food quality was awful. The prices are sky high! $13.99 for Spaghetti and meatballs? Michael's is not a four or five star restaurant. I had a calzone with pepperoni. It must have had a pound of very salty pepperoni. Mozzarella cheese that had no taste and pizza sauce that i couldn't taste because the pepperoni was so salty. My girlfriend had a bowl of soup that i am sure was from a can. A tuna croissant sandwich that had more lettuce on it then tuna. We shared tasteless, over fried mushrooms. We each had a glass of iced tea. The drinks alone cost $5.50. The entire bill came to $32.00. The food was not worth $32.00. The atmosphere is just plain nasty. String of lights strong across the ceiling. The carpet needs replaced. It's so dirty and the dining room smelled like dog! Never again will we go there. Burger King would have been better. read more
