Sent a message via Yelp, based on reviews, to Geff at Port City Locksmith late Sunday evening asking for a quote. He responded as soon as he opened up Monday Morning and was at my home by 10:20 am and was done making a key for my car within 30 minutes, even though I did not have a spare key to copy off of. He had the key for my car in stock, cut it, and programmed it right in my drive way. Geff was very polite, pleasant and the nicest person. He provided a lot of information about the process on how he would be making the key, which he did not have to, also took time to have a conversation and answer questions. 07/14/2023. It was the hottest day of this week and the hottest time during the day. Our car locked itself with a baby inside while the engine was still running. Yelped and called locksmiths companies, no one was picking up the phone because it was end of the day and near the closing time. Finally one responded! Port City Locksmith! Spoke with Geff, explained that this is emergency. He was on another call, but assured me that he would leave and rush right away since there is a baby in the car. I called Port City Locksmith to change all The locks in my house after we moved in. They looked really old and I have no idea how many people had keys. My son locked his key in his trunk and the latch release inside the car wasn't working. After AAA came out and left, I still wasn't able to get into the trunk. No bs, best locksmith I have ever dealt with. I have lived in CA, ID, TN, KY, OK and I have never met such an honest locksmith. Look, all other smiths charge like 80+ for programming a fob for a truck, not this man. I wont say exactly due to his prices can change but lets just say its a steal of a deal. Very easy to talk to, very professional and dont let dealers scare you that aftermarket fobs wont work. I have a 2013 Ram Sport (all bells n whistles) and it took just 3 minutes and bam it was done. Seriously, check my ptofile I am very harsh on this kind of thing and he has blown me away. Lets say other lock smiths and dealers wanted to charge me well over 200-300... cut that in half.
