My husband and I got married in April 2023 and we hired Posh DJs for reception services including 4 hours of DJ music, dancing with clouds, spotlights, cold sparklers, and a traditional photo booth. We had a wonderful reception! JP was our DJ and he was personable, responsive to our emails and texts, and knowledgeable in answering our many questions! The music selection website was also easy to use and connect to our Spotify playlist. JP was easy to get along with and he was even kind enough to have a Tide-To-Go pen on hand and cleaned my wedding dress when I spilled chocolate sauce on it! The dancing with the clouds was amazing and elevated our first dance to look straight out of a fairy tale, and the sparklers shot out at the perfect moment of our lift. The traditional photo booth was more cramped than we expected, so if we knew the small size we may have opted for a different type of photo booth, but it seemed to not bother our guests and was a good size for fitting 4 people. We also love the photo booth souvenir book that Posh DJs prepared for us that was really clean and well-organized. JP did play all our must-play songs and songs from our "play if possible" list, and also did play the requested instrumental music during dinner. On the day of the wedding, we were worried that our guests wouldn't dance during reception so we let him know that we were okay if he played some songs off our list to get the crowd going. Later, we weren't sure if we should have given that direction since the first dance set had too many songs that we DIDN'T know. (My husband and I are not familiar with older songs, so we didn't recognize any of those songs in the first dance set). However, JP checked in with us after the first dance set and we asked him if he could play more songs from our playlist and we were happier with our second and third dance sets. We had discussed with JP during our final call that we wanted to do a napkin game to "raffle" off the centerpieces to our guests, but on the day before the wedding we had squeezed in last minute sparklers (we didn't think it was possible to light them since it was pouring rain, but we ended up being able to when the venue told us we could have sparklers on a covered patio), so in all the commotion we had forgotten about the napkin game and most of the centerpieces were left at the venue, which I wish we could have distributed to our guests. But overall, I am happy with Posh DJs and JP and thank you for contributing to our magical wedding! read more

We had the absolute pleasure of having DJ Toro from Posh DJs at our wedding on June 7, 2025 and we can't recommend him highly enough! He was an incredible DJ to work with from the very beginning, professional, friendly, and completely in tune with what we were looking for :) One of the highlights of the night was how effortlessly he blended three different languages into the music (English, Portuguese, and Spanish). It was important to us to incorporate our cultures and music tastes throughout the reception, and DJ Toro nailed it. From the first meeting I had with Evan, I knew he was going to be our DJ. I did a LOT of research about DJs because music was my number one priority for my wedding. Evan was the first DJ we talked to, and after our meeting I cancelled all my meetings with other prospective DJs. From the jump, Evan was attentive and invested in our day. I told him I wanted a "millennial club vibe" for our wedding, and I ended up with maybe 8 songs on my "must play" list, but otherwise I asked him to just do his thing. I'm very type A so it was hard for me to put my trust in someone else with such an important component of my wedding day, but it was the best decision I could have made. We had two meetings prior to my wedding; the initial meeting where Evan laid out exactly what we should expect from him with regards to the planning process, and the second meeting right before our wedding where he played all the music we chose for our various dances, etc. I had a few questions and requests in the interim between meetings and Evan was exceptional with communication. On the day of my wedding, Evan took command of the room from start to finish. At certain points in the night, EVERY SINGLE GUEST was on the dance floor, even the ones who don't really like to party. He played every song I asked for, worked the sparklers and CO2 cannons like a boss, knocked it out of the park with helping us coordinate our t-shirt toss, and made me cry at the end of the night (in the best way possible) by ending the night with the song I walked down the aisle to. Every guest I spoke to told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and that our DJ absolutely blew it out of the park. I ended up sharing his info with about a dozen guests who requested it. In addition to Evan being absolutely phenomenal, we ended up adding on one of Posh's sax players, Art. HE WAS INCREDIBLE. I was in shock all night over his talent, as were my guests. Not only did he play the best live sax I've ever heard, but he was also an amazing hype man, getting out on the dance floor with us between performances. I truly cannot say enough good things about Evan, Art and their team. My expectations were very high but they didn't just exceed them - they absolutely obliterated them. I told my fiancé the next day if I could have only had one vendor for my wedding it would've been Evan hands-down. Thank you guys so much for making our wedding the most amazing party of our lives. Brandon was absolutely incredible, from laying out the foundation to playing music to the crowd's mood, he hit the nail on the head. Our venue was a little more hands on and gave directions for the cake cutting/bouquet/garter toss, which was probably frustrating to him ( we were at the point in the night where we had no clue what was going on lol) but he handled it like a champ. Ever meet someone who is truly the best in their work field. In my profession, I have encountered a few and let me tell you they are not humble. For our wedding, we chose to meet with a DJ from Posh after attending another wedding they did and we were matched up with Austin John. Even over our FaceTime meeting, I recognized the character traits I saw in some of the pioneers in my work field. He expertly showed us photos of his DJ booth set up at our venue, played us sound bytes, showed us the equipment room, explained all ancillary services and made note of our music preferences with references to other similar artists in a 30 min conversation. Their planning website is easy to follow and comprehensive. Be aware that it can be overwhelming and will spark many discussions about music preferences. But hey, if you can't work out your music as a couple, you probably shouldn't be getting married. It also safe guards against those embarrassing mishaps seen at weddings. I admit that I wasn't sure if Austin John understood my music preferences and where I was coming from during our follow up discussions. I internally questioned my own coolness in his presence; was I worthy of such a DJ? Thing is Austin John is a great guy who is easy to connect with on a personal level. Our song choices are very personal with their own back story and he respects that. We had music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I am someone who has always had a running soundtrack to my life in my head and my husband is a movie nerd so the music at the ceremony was important. The timing of the music was perfect. Just before we were to be pronounced I faintly hear the intro of the song we chose and hear the volume rise with applause as we kissed. Now, this may have been all in my head but I am pretty sure this is the work of Posh entertainment. Austin checked in with us frequently during the reception asking my husband how he was doing. He rarely asked me but I was always on the dance floor or in the photobooth. I'm an easy read and I'm sure he could tell it was going well for me. He also served to calm the nerves of our maid of honor and best man before their speeches. My moh and I only found out the next day that he gave her time to practice her speech in the bathroom whilst only telling me that we would get started after she used the restroom. I have been fortunate enough to have Posh Entertainment on two occasions -- my friend's wedding and my own wedding. They are the complete package and incredibly professional. At my friend's wedding we had DJ ZML, who we heard has retired from doing weddings, but we were lucky enough to have DJ Austin John (who actually did DJ ZML's wedding). From the start, DJ Austin was incredible and all of his suggestions were to have a better experience, rather than adding on extras we didn't need. He knew our location and even had videos of the layout AT the venue, which he was able to show us on our initial consultation. He seemlessly handled the music at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and our reception -- the latter of which we requested Michael Jackson, old school hip hop, and the occasional Motown, along with incredible dance mixes that got everyone going. We also opted for the photo booth, which was definitely a big hit. They provided two 75 inch HD screens that would project those pictures (there's even an option for Instagram live streaming) and put together the slide show for us. At the end of the night, we also got a guest book signed by our guests, accompanied by their photo booth pictures, which was a nice touch. The best thing about DJ Austin is that he really understood the flow of the wedding and he made sure that everyone has a good time. He would regularly come see me (and other staff at he venue, I'm sure) during the event to tell me what was coming up and also to check that we were having a good time. Before the event, he made sure he got the exact versions of the songs we wanted (even finding a better version for one of them), and made sure all the details were right, down to the pronunciations of our names. You really can't ask for a better experience. They make sure the event is customized for you, and we (and looking at the other stellar reviews from others, it's no surprise) had an awesome time at our wedding from start to finish. read more

When Mariola and I began our wedding planning journey, our priorities were food, food, and music. What can we say, we LOVE to eat! This was before we decided not to have just a wedding... (wait for it)... But a POSH WEDDING! DJ ZML CRUSHED IT! The dance floor was packed as he gave us a steady dose of hits from the 90's and early 00's. When I think of my awkward middle school years, a part of me dies inside. However, for one night, I felt like the coolest "kid" in the world, as I had my beautiful bride, best buddies, and a unified dance floor filled with all ages. Food was an afterthought because the party was in full-effect from the jump. There was even a brief, fleeting moment when I felt bad for DJ ZML - he played a song that was supposed to be background music as we transitioned into the first course salad. What happened? A group of millennials stormed the dance floor, singing and dancing at the top of their lungs. A victim of his own talents and success, DJ ZML earned the adulation of our guests and us by feeding off that energy and playing straight through to the end of the reception. We used POSH Entertainment for our April 9, 2017 wedding. Sean was our DJ and made the planning process so easy. First, my husband and I recently moved to North Carolina, so all our planning was long distance. Sean was very accommodating and we did our planning through text, email, and FaceTime. Secondly, we had to postpone our wedding just three weeks before our original date due to a death in the immediate family; Sean, and Caesar, one of the owners, were so understanding. When we rescheduled a few months later we picked up right where we left off with planning, and they made a point to double and triple check wording with family introductions because of the sensitivity of the situation. Most guests at our wedding were older and didn't dance a lot, but they made a point of telling us how much fun the music was anyway. It was loud enough to dance and have a good time, but not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with someone.
