No cuticle cream prior to any service at all. One gel manicure took less than 15 minutes, start to finish, with no discussion about preferred shape. One gel manicure that looks okay, but nails were cut way shorter than requested. One gel manicure that looks okay, but somehow resulted in paint on the back of the hand. One gel manicure that's fine, and one set of acrylics with shmancy paint that turned out lovely (minus the cut finger). Again, staff was lovely, although not super communicative (except the receptionist woman who hovers a little). We are not going back a third time. Nope. Not worth it. I brought my 81 year old mom in for a manicure for her birthday. She had a great time, ended up with a beautiful gel manicure in University of Alabama colors. Her tech, Natalie, was wonderful with her, treating her with respect and kindness. I would give her 5 stars for her treatment of my mom alone. It's a bonus that my mom loved the experience and the outcome. I got a pedicure. The young woman (Samantha?) was lovely and friendly and a lot of fun. However, I felt like maybe she was brand new (which didn't really seem possible), because she forgot to turn on the bubbles in the foot spa, she barely did a callus scrub, I don't think she cut my toenails at all and she forgot I was getting a paraffin and started to paint my toes (without placing a base coat) and then had to take the paint off to do the paraffin. I would give my service 3 stars, mostly because she really was a lovely person. Between my mom's 5 star and my 3 star, I'm giving a 4 star overall. I did love the way the staff all looked out for each other and offered suggestions and hints, etc., but, again, I felt like I was sort of a test run for this young woman. Additionally (and this is my fault), I picked a glitter polish that was really thick, which meant my nails didn't fully dry before we left (in fact, it was another hour or so before they were really dry), which resulted in smudged toes. I really wanted to love this place. It's a beautiful space, comfortable, clean, well designed. And I will go there again (because Mom really loved it). My hope is it will be better next time. Oh, and one last thing. I went to park in the handicap accessible space, but there was a car parked in the blue striped area (you know, the "don't park here" spot next to accessible spaces). I mentioned it when we went in, but no one did anything about it. It's unfortunate, as I suspect it was an employee car parked there. Again, we will try again. I have never felt like an inconvenience before at a nail salon. They were not overly busy and I believe I know why. Came in for a pedicure with a group of four. They were super friendly at first and got us to the chairs quickly. However once there they seemed annoyed we didn't want gel polish and even more annoyed that we hadn't picked a color before sitting down. We were never give the time. They simply directed us to the chairs. The pedicures were just okay, nothing crazy impressive and were reasonably priced. However when they asked if I wanted my nails done too I figured hey why not. They moved me to the nail station and I sat there for a good 15 minutes before anyone came over. There was only one other lady getting her nails done and the other three of my party getting pedicures still. When the lady did come over she was more interested in her phone and talking with the other workers. The manicure was basic and took less than 15 minutes. Which would have been fine except my gel is already lifting less than 4 hours later. Just felt like we interpreted their Saturday afternoon by coming in to their nail salon. read more

I rarely go to nail salons because I'm so afraid to spend the money for the polish to never last. I went to a different salon twice and my nails didn't last a week. I tried Posh and so far my nails have last 3 weeks! See the picture below, that's 3 weeks and they still look good! I'm about due to have them touched up but I am highly impressed with Posh. Do to demands of my job, I was unable to make any appointments for about two months. When I finally cleared my schedule to go in, I found Dawn was no longer there and no one would tell me what happened. So, I have been back twice now and both times I have not had great experiences. The first time back, I asked for a specific design, one tech said she could draw it and at the last minute, they give me a different tech who put tips on, crooked. She did shape the nails good but still. Yesterday I was one of the first people there and again asked if someone could do the design I wanted, they again said yes. It wasn't until after they took the polish off and I already had my mani that they said no and to pick something out. I always have a back up plan so I showed the tech the other option. The tech did not shape my nails at all, they are all different shapes, the dip looks horrible, and the worse part, she cut into my cuticles when using the electric file thingy. I am deeply upset that my last few experiences have been so below sub par because I really enjoyed this business. However, after being lied to, twice, I will be finding a new nail place. First time, last time. The salon is beautiful, but the technique of the nail tech that did my nails is sorely lacking. She was more interested in running the salon than doing nails. She burned my cuticles with the drill and my nails weren't symmetrical. I had to go home and file them so that looked remotely even. To say that I'm extremely unhappy is an understatement. It's been four days since my service and I have a broken nail and the shine is worn off. These are dip nails and this shouldn't happen so soon after service. They charged me $55 for a pedi (didn't even file my callus) and a so called "manicure " they painted my nails with a basic clear polish which I wanted but they didn't even massage my hands....I had to ask them to do it. Went for a girls day with a party of 6. When the reservation was made we were told we would be in a room where we could set up snacks and drinks that did not happen. There was alot of judgement with the nail color and designs asked for. When I was getting my fill on my acrylic nails the tech seemed upset that they were done by another salon and they turned out awful. The acrylic was super thick and the polish was lumpy. When I asked to have them fixed he attempted but they still aren't up to my standards. They didn't want to allow us to use the deposit that was put down when the reservation was made and no apologies or discounts were given for the horrible service. I just moved to the area and needed to find a new nail place, and I'm pretty particular about nail places. After scouring Yelp reviews, I felt this place would be my best bet, and I was so right! I only needed to get a pedicure, but I was blown away by their selection of Nail colors and designs, for dip, gel, and regular, I will for sure be back when I need my nails done. My pedicure was great, no issues, I got the Classic pedicure which was very relaxing, but they do have tons of upgrades levels of pedicure as well. I was able to call and make an apt for the next day, which is what I was looking for, but you could walk in as well. The staff was very friendly, and even when I changed my mind about what I wanted a few times they were very nice. They have individual screens at the pedicure and manicure stations, you wash your hands as soon as you walk in, there were bowl liners for the pedicure station, they sanitized each station between people, and they use single use sterile tools for everyone, I felt very safe. The technician got acrylic primer on my finger tip - which happens - but as I'm trying to tell him that my finger is on FIRE (it's red and swollen), he is insisting I burnt myself, in something, somewhere. Then, while he's using the fine buffer (you know, the one that hurts and can cut you) he nicked me 4 times. Then has the balls to tell me to relax my hand. I've used different technicians and everyone has provided great service. I prefer bling rather than plain and all have exhibited their creative side. I went to Posh Nails for the first time with my daughter. It was terrible from beginning til I ended it. They acted as of it was a bother I wanted a mani/pedi enough thou we had an appointment. The pedi was rushed and the scrub was rubbed on hard and we other pressure on my legs. They did not use any lotion on nail beds pushed back dry. You know that's it relaxing. After pedi I said yes I want my Mani..the lady made a grunt noise. I was getting to 2 second soak in the inch of water she immediately started cutting on my cuticles and cut me so back I yelled and seen blood oozing out. That was it and I was done and it was over. My last 4 experiences here have been horrendous .. today I specifically asked to be sat next to my sister and then they sat us across the room from each other and when I reminded them that we wanted to be next to each other they said "it's fine" and then sat a stranger next to me right afterward who was also a walk it right after us. I have also had quite a few sanitary issues with them that that seem to care nothing about changing. And my nails are always much thicker then I like and they are never willing to fix them when I say something about it. I went here for my birthday to use a gift card my daughter gave me. She called and made an appointment for 4 women. My mother got there a few minutes before we did and instead of having her wait, they put her in a chair and started without us. My daughter and granddaughter were seated at the other end of the nail salon and I was next to my mom, instead of putting us all together, so there were at least 5 people between us. The girl that did my pedicure spent about 20 minutes total on me for a $35 pedicure, plus, after I left I noticed she didn't even paint my little toe on my left foot.
