I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had an appointment but waited 30 mins to get in. The technician informed me that she cannot do a good job if I am nervous and honestly, her attitude made me even more anxious. Overall, the service felt rushed and unprofessional. Horrible. I will never go here again or recommend this place. My nails are horrible. I went here only because my normal salon was full. I ended up paying $46 for nails my four year old son could have done better. And the worker was a middle aged man with a ball cap and he was pushing the bruises on my legs and asking if it hurt. Clean spot, the front door lady was friendly. I'm an upfront person, no hidden stuff type of guy. My grade school kid wanted to get mani and pedi, so brought her in, picked her color. They sat her down, so far at this point all well. The kid was asked if she wanted a design on her nails. I was hesitant because I have heard that any additional requests come with a fee. The lady saw me think before I responded to my kid, to the ladies response , "don't worry it's free, no extra charge" , so I said fine go for it. This was on her feet. When it came to my kids hand. The kid asked if the flowers would be on her finger nails and the lady quickly responded , $10 more, I was like wait you said the design was at no cost, anywho, what I dislike is when they try to lure you in . They provide a free drink of choice, water, soda or juice as you come in. I had a mani with shellac and wears extremely pleased with the service! Not impressed. I've been here twice and feel like I gave it a fair shot. The first time I went was the Friday before Memorial Day. I get it, people want to get their nails done before a holiday weekend. I waited an hour for a pedicure and while I waited all they have to sit on is 2' high stools with no back. Not a comfortable piece of furniture to sit on for an hour. The second time I went it was a Wednesday morning, right when they opened and no holiday in sight. I was told it would be at least an hour wait because "Didn't I realize there was a wedding party there and maybe I should pick a better time to come in." I had just drove 30 miles to get a pedicure, no I did not realize there was a wedding party and it's not like I can just zip home and come back at a more convenient time. I have made five appointments at Posh nail spa. I have kept all five appointments. I have spent all five appointments waiting two and a half hours to get a shellac manicure. I was treated kindly by the help and was mocked by the manager. My last appointment I arrived at 3:50 and my appointment was at 4:00 p.m. as I was sat down with Angie she had been given a walk-in appointment for a full set of nails which clearly takes more than 10 minutes. I was rushed through my appointment. I will not return to Posh nail salon. Although this establishment was clean. And my services were excellent. I arrived on time for my appointment for a mani/pedi. I ended up sitting in a pedicure chair with cold water for 45min. The technician was in a hurry and repeatedly knicked my skin (3 times by my count...I bled). Time for the manicure...the technician either didn't care about the shape I wanted or was in too much of a hurry and mangled the shape and length. I was then asked to pay before either service was complete. I was there for 2hrs and 45min! I was told that I had to wait, not because they were overbooked, but because someone's kid was sick. Nice. I spent $100.00 for both services with no concession from the management for my time or aggravation. Never again. Another thing...not only were they rushing because it was close to closing time (they close at 7, I arrived at 5) but the entire staff went into super cleaning mode (mopping, vacuuming, and also checking their phones while customers were still being serviced). When my Mate asked where I would like a gift certificate for a pedicure I told him Posh as I had heard about how cute a shop it was. It is a nice shop and looked clean but they have to get their scheduling together as they really are annoying people. I have talked to so may friends who won't go back because it is hard to get an appointment and most times they just tell you to come in and wait. So my recommendation is don't go to Posh Nails without an appointment!!!! If it's going to be an hour wait then they should tell you! They told me 10-15 minutes and 45 minutes later they said they would get me started after they had a tech available but they had to start two others in front of me! I went into the salon and had an appointment. I am not sure I even got the person who I was suppose to have. I had a damage nail they didn't want to fix it they wanted to clip it off. They finally fixed it and charged 2.50 to fix one nail. When I went up to pay every single one of my fingers were bleeding. I talked to the owner and she said oh, I will talk to the girl.
