My daughter and now son-in-law also interviewed them and we all agreed that they were the best. I'll be honest, at first I was a little worried. Not because of anything they were or weren't doing, but because I'm a control freak Plus type A personality and wanted my daughter's wedding day to be perfect. So, I ended up stepping on toes and trying to do things on my own when I should have listened to the wedding planners and sat back and relaxed. Judy and Carol convinced me however that they had EVERYTHING under control and I did become convinced that they did. Nearing the last month and the two weeks before the wedding is when so many of the final details are wrapped up and they are on top of it. So, if you hire them, don't worry, they have it under control. The day of the wedding when we arrived, Carol and Judy were just finishing up the set-up and it was GORGEOUS!!! Also, we had a bit of a fiasco with a hotel that we had lined up and the shuttle service. Judy made many calls on our behalf and we ended up going to a different hotel and hiring a Royal Coach Bus for 57 passengers to take our guests from the Sheraton in Pleasanton to the Crooked Vine Winery in Livermore. This worked out perfectly and made the evening so enjoyable for everyone because they didn't have to worry about driving. I will say that when my next daughter gets married, I will definitely be hiring Carol and Judy again! Going into a wedding, you think you only have to hire people but there are so many details, many that you don't even think about. I loved all their vendors and will be writing separate reviews on that. Their floral person did an awesome job!!!! On the wedding day they stayed until the very end and had all the gifts and everything loaded into our vehicle already. This was so nice because my husband and I could spend time with our guests instead of running around making sure everything was going right. I highly recommend Carol and Judy for your wedding planners! Worth every penny!

With every wedding there will always be some type of issue that arrives and with the bumps we faced, it was as if SLE worked magic and made everything better. Leading up to the wedding, Lindsay was so thorough and detailed and made sure to cover everything I did not know even needed to be covered - from placing our custome table numbers (also giving advice on what to use in case of strong winds), lighting our candles, tying the rose petal cones to the chairs, and tons of reception layout drafts. She asked many questions to make sure she understood what we were envisioning and had the most detailed notes I had ever seen! At the same time, she continued answering my 1000000 questions with lots of reassurance that everything will be more than OKAY. Even when we got scammed by a vendor, she was so empathetic and assisted us in what actions to take and other vendors we can look into! You can tell Lindsay is so passionate about her job and it shows with how loving and understanding she is towards the bride and groom, everyone that was a part of the wedding as well as our guests! It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.
