I thought I was going to have to keep my guard up from the last place but Bryan, a nurse there, was the first person my cat, Oscar, and I met and he was so warm-natured towards animals and so present and ready to meet my cat that I knew I was in good hands. Then we met Dr. Retean. What a blessing and fresh breath of air she was/is. I was so nervous and anxiety ridden and her demeanor and softness towards Oscar was reassuring. She noticed the details about him, asked questions, presented options (specific to his best needs), corrected a previous poor diagnosis regarding a bump on his tail... and on. I thought Oscar and I scored between her and Bryan... but upon leaving, the front desk women humored me by giving him SO much personal attention. It was so fun, funny, and such a great experience. Taking our pets in can be so high-stress... we don't want them to be scared or in unloving or uncompassionate hands, right? This staff will settle those nerves. When we got them back they went from completely untrained to trained in every way! Door manners, in the car, on the leash, and other basic commands, you name it! They were crazy about food and now they will sit in front of food and wait to eat it when they are told. It's amazing! We then brought them back for a tune up when our son was born. It was awesome knowing they were with people who knew them and loved them. Our dog Charlie ran and jumped in the lake immediately! Happy as can be. A huge shoutout to Derrick! When our son was born 4 weeks early he went out of his way to pick our dogs up when we were stuck at the hospital. He truly loves the dogs and cares about the families. You can tell this is his passion and it shows through his work! Lastly, Anthony has been fantastic to work with throughout too! Due to him and Derrick we will continue bringing our dogs back here when we need boarding knowing they are in the BEST hands. But when I got my dog back, he was extremely timid coming if the room until I called his name and he realized it was me. When he came running to me, I immediately noticed he was limping from his front right shoulder. I at first thought it wasn't anything, but the following day he continued to limp whether he was walking or running. I called back the facility immediately and asked if something had happened, or if they noticed anything and they said nothing happened. But they said my dog mentioned my dog would block the door when they would try and open it. They stated nothing happened but if that was the case he would not be limping. It just did not make sense they mentioned the door and my dog blocking it so now it seems like they shoved the door open or hit my dog with the door when they opened it. Now I have to take my dog to the vet to be seen and there has been no resolution or real explanation what happened to my dog.

We are SO fortunate to have found Richard from Catify My Home. It's not that often you hit the jackpot from a Google search, but we did with this one! Our cats Canvas and Ophelia love their uncle Richie! There isn't enough time to write how vastly different, and better, Richard is from your typical app cat sitter. Any previous cat sitter would stop in, scoop the litter box, refill the food, add water, hang out for 10 minutes and then leave. With Richard our cats get so much play hunting time and lots of affection. His drop ins are 90 minutes and this includes ensuring the dry food is full, cleaning the litter box, refilling the water bowls (which he also cleans), and vacuuming around the cat area. It doesn't just end there, he also brings our trash to the curb if he's cat sitting on a trash day, brings in our mail or any packages, vacuums the areas where he's playing with the cats, and I'm sure there's more I'm missing! We used to come back from time away and dread getting home because of the cat duties...cleaning up the scattered litter/food on the floor, washing water bowls, emptying the litter genie, etc. with Richard, all of that is done for us! We simply come back home to the happiest cats. He will send A TON of photos and videos to show updates. He truly loves cats and understands their behavior. He was even able to get our younger cat (who is skittish and typically hides from strangers) to start coming out and playing with him. Also...he is extremely reliable and doesn't treat cat sitting like a side hobby. Previous sitters wouldn't always send updates and a lot of time we would have to check in with them to see if they were still stopping by to check in.
