After a lot of research and conversations, we found Devotion Tattoo, called to speak with the artist, and confirm an appointment. I loved the feel of the tattoo parlor. It was cozy and beautifully crafted with art, furniture, and complimentary snacks and beverages. When we got there, my partner worked with the artist to get the design exactly to his liking. He got clear instructions and responses throughout the process. At the end, we received detailed instructions and materials for caring for tattoos as it heals and what to watch out for. He has a great eye I am so happy with how it turned out. The overall vibe of the shop is very chill and laid back. Plenty of couches, snacks, and some jewelry to browse while you waited. The shop is super inclusive and protective of those with compromised immune systems, which is great to see. We interacted with Chris and he was incredibly kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our afternoon at the shop a great experience. I would highly recommend Devotion to anyone.

Furthermore, one of the two tattoos I received had some healing issues and she's been more than willing to help me fix the image once it's ready - no cost. I'm impressed with her priority to provide superior service. I got a cute little ghost tattoo (which now has cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and his name is Gerard) and immediately worked on scheduling another appointment in the future for a spine/back tattoo. Frit was amazing and came up with an absolutely gorgeous design (even though I was not much help in giving ideas, sorry Frit!!). Never once did she make me feel bad or like a burden when I asked for things to be tweaked/changed, and when we finally got a design agreed on, we started with the first session and got all of the line work knocked out. After two more sessions, we got the shading and detail all done as well and it looks absolutely killer! Frit is super easy going and fun to spend full 8 hour sessions with so it isn't boring/awkward/etc. and I'm so glad I came in that first day for a random tattoo so I could find my forever artist! So he started looking around Milwaukee area and it was by faith's design that he came across Riverwest Tattoo Company. My boyfriend was speaking on the phone with one of the artist when he had mentioned the name Mason to us and my friend who was with us at the time immediately made the connection that our old high school was that person! We immediately said absolutely since we new how passionate Mason was in high school for their artistry. Appointment was booked and we were on our way! The shop was so amazing! Tattoo Art everywhere! and so many plants too! I loved it! The waiver process was easy and Mason got my boyfriend ready to go in the chair within 10 mins. Barnaby is very skilled and down to earth and easy to talk to. He just understood what I wanted without seeing my dad's cremation urn. I am actually uploading this in hopes he sees the completed vision. Barnaby took the word Dad and flipped it all around so that it made a butterfly and it's basically like my dad drew it.
